The Godfather Of Atlanta is an urban, crime fiction masterpiece. It is a well-crafted novel from the mind of Cole Hart. A page-turner is an understatement. Young Hollywood, the youngest goon of a notorious rich clique from Hollywood Court projects is destined to make his name known throughout the entire Westside of Atlanta. Certified and ruthless, Young Hollywood is worth a half a million before the age of sixteen, and is well on his way until tragedy strikes. Young Hollywood s home is invaded, and his son is held for ransom. Violated, blood thirsty and reckless, he vows for revenge as he combs the city for answers. Once inside the Georgia Penal System, Young Hollywood continues on his ruthless traits until he is placed on high max with hardened criminals. There, Young Hollywood meets up with a man he never knew before. After they untie, the real A-Town Veteran is released from prison after serving twenty straight years, but not before sucking up every piece of game and knowledge he could. This entertaining triumph goes from the streets, to the prison system and to the corporate world of record labels and rap entertainment. This highly anticipated, descriptive urban novel about crime, corruption and passion in Atlanta's own underworld will have you on your toes from the first page to the very last. This is one masterpiece you'll never want to end. ************************************************************************************************************************************************* This African American Urban Fiction is recommended for fans of Chenell Parker, Jade Jones, Jessica Watkins, Mz. This book just keeps getting interesting. Hammer is definitely the man out there building his empire. He is one smart ass man n knows wat he is doing. I also slept on that Six Nine too.... He is quite interesting. I can't believe that he got out of jail n build the Black Cartel from the bottom. I'm so curious about wats going to happen between him n Hammer. I can't wait to read part 2! Great job! This was fire right here! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Lies, betrayal, coercion, Oscar performing actors, strategic thinking, manipulation, stubborn, pride and no remorse are just some of the qualities presented from the intro to the finale. But wait, cliffhanger! Got to read part 2
Who will be The Godfather? Who can you trust? Who will be the better chess player (3 contenders)?
Cole Hart has done it again! God Father of Atlanta takes readers on a wild ride all up and through Atlanta! The characters have me going through the motions too. I’m rolling my eyes, twisting my lips and screaming at the pages lol! I can’t wait to see what GOA 2 has in store!
This book was so good I couldn't put it down. Lots of snakes and surprises. Young Hollywood has learned who his Father is and that's when it gets good. Hammer is climbing to the top but wait until he learns that Six Nine is out...its about to go down.
I struggled through this book, and I am an AVID reader. I thought the book was about the characters introduced in the beginning, only for the main character to become a secondary character. Now I have to read book 2 or reading this will be for nothing.
It was ok. I like the mentioning of the different Zones and areas in Atlanta, which is my home town. I'm not a fan of all the violence, but I know most of it to be somewhat accurate when it comes to the streets. But for entertainment value it was on point.
First time read by this author and was pleasantly surprised. The storyline pulls you in from beginning to end. But if course you have to read the sequel to find out what happens to everyone.
Lots of action. Both Young Hollywood and his daddy are going to be powerful figures to deal with. Glad the book gives some idea of young Hollywood's life in prison. Most books start at the point of just getting out. No Sweat
I found this book thoroughly enjoyable. It definitely kept me mesmerized throughout my reading. I am definitely interested and looking forward to the next book.
