Trauma
Zander Holland was despised the moment he came into this world. His own mother, Mary, saw him as a curse rather than a blessing. When Mary met Richard, Zander began to receive "special" attention in the form of Life Lessons — lessons meant to instruct and train with abuse and power. Zander knew there was something very special about him and he was meant for some greater purpose, but what purpose could that be?

I have to say this about Xander, he's gone through a lot. From the very beginning you start to feel sorry for the guy and it makes you sympathize with him later when he does some questionable things.
The book itself is very well written and keeps to the point. Something I enjoy in books. It was easy to read and I didn't want to put it down

Animal cruelty / torture porn.
The case study of the making of a murderer is well written and gritty, but not a book I would wish to read again or recommend to anyone I know.i
