Tara Vasser is a wicked writer who lives in the frozen north in Minnesota with her wonderful husband and two rambunctious little dudes. She is an engineer during the day, a crazy mom in the afternoon and a writer at night. She enjoys spending her time playing in the dirt when her gardens aren’t covered in snow and listening to a wide variety of music that inspires her writing – sometimes doing both at the same time.
Just finished Red part one by Tara Vasser. Very intriguing take on little red riding hood. Can’t wait to see what happens next! I wasn’t sure what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised!
Red is resurrected and spends time learning to be perfect for her betrothed. He mean and arrogant so Red seeks refuge to escape a compound that has a lot of security.
Red hides in the woods and meets a man, I don’t want to spoil the rest for you.
Tara has done a great job of putting two very different worlds together for a twisted fairytale.
This book is in Once Upon a Twisted Time boxset.

Tara Vasser has written a take on the Little Red Riding Hood story that was verra hawt and great fun to read! But reader be warned, there are three parts to this story, so if you are not a fan of cliffhangers, you’ve been warned! Highly recommend and look forward to reading more!
I’m a big fan of Tara Vasser’s books, I was introduced to this author through her Bloodlust Chronicles and I absolutely loved that series so I was excited to get a chance to read her new series, A Red Riding Hood Retelling and I must say that this is a fantastic read too but this is only part 1 and I can’t wait to get my hands on part 2. I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
The story was quick, but the backstory was started to be brought in, with well-developed action sequences. I think the love story itself was a bit quick and there was still a lot of unanswered questions that I hope will be addressed further into the series. I enjoyed the world that the author has created and am looking forward to the next books in the series. Reviewed by Cyrene
Good character development. Antagonists were very well written. Can hardly wait for Parts 2 & 3. What happened to Martha? Hopefully, she comes to help and be a friend.
