Rate this book
In the aftermath of a tragic car accident, Red is resurrected by a Vampire. As repayment for her second life, she spends a decade being groomed to serve as a peace offering between enemies.

Upon arrival at the estate of her betrothed, Red soon realizes the cruelty of her husband-to-be and the sterility of his manse are more than she can bear. Seeking refuge, she flees to the woods where nothing is as it seems. There, she is drawn to a dangerous figure shrouded in secrecy. It is within the trees where Red will discover who is predator and who is prey.

Just finished Red part one by Tara Vasser. Very intriguing take on little red riding hood. Can’t wait to see what happens next! I wasn’t sure what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised!

Great take on Red Riding Hood.

Red is resurrected and spends time learning to be perfect for her betrothed. He mean and arrogant so Red seeks refuge to escape a compound that has a lot of security.

Red hides in the woods and meets a man, I don’t want to spoil the rest for you.

Tara has done a great job of putting two very different worlds together for a twisted fairytale.

This book is in Once Upon a Twisted Time boxset.

If you like supernatural and fairytales mixed then this is for you.

Terrific tale. Very steamy. A lesson in trusting one's heart. I wonder what Part 2 will hold.

I received a complimentary copy of this book and voluntarily posted an honest review.

After a tragic accident, Red has been taken from all that she knows and for the next 10 years, she is groomed to be the bride of a powerful vampire. But when Red runs from her fate, she is rescued by an unlikely hero. A hero that is just as lost as Red, and together they begin a journey of discovery…

Tara Vasser has written a take on the Little Red Riding Hood story that was verra hawt and great fun to read! But reader be warned, there are three parts to this story, so if you are not a fan of cliffhangers, you’ve been warned! Highly recommend and look forward to reading more!

I’m a big fan of Tara Vasser’s books, I was introduced to this author through her Bloodlust Chronicles and I absolutely loved that series so I was excited to get a chance to read her new series, A Red Riding Hood Retelling and I must say that this is a fantastic read too but this is only part 1 and I can’t wait to get my hands on part 2. I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

The story was quick, but the backstory was started to be brought in, with well-developed action sequences. I think the love story itself was a bit quick and there was still a lot of unanswered questions that I hope will be addressed further into the series. I enjoyed the world that the author has created and am looking forward to the next books in the series.

Good character development. Antagonists were very well written. Can hardly wait for Parts 2 & 3.
What happened to Martha? Hopefully, she comes to help and be a friend.
