Easy read that address the issues around raising meat goats. Some of the information on goat prices/business plan seems dated, but the rest of the book has lots of god information for somebody interested in a primer on raising goats.

Very interesting and useful guide to raising meat goats. I am not a fan of the high grain diet for small ruminants that she proposes, but all in all there is a lot of really great information in this book. A must read if you are considering getting into the industry.

This is the best of all the goat-related books I have read. There are a lot of useful tables, charts, and recipes.

pg. 38 - housing and facilities for goats
pg. 91 - list of hazardous plants
pg. 91 - feed composition
pg. 215 - The Vet Kit

Generally I am very partial to the Storey guides, but in this case I found Bowman's book to be signifigantly better.
