I wanted to like this book...
The stories I read were...a boring romance-y thing, an extremely profane and explicit sexual thing that made me cringe, a horror story with a bloodsucking doll...I couldn't keep reading and I'm deleting the whole collection now. It just gave me a bad taste in my mouth. Eeew. I cannot recommend this based on what I read. I didn't (couldn't) finish the collection, so it's possible there's something better in it, but I couldn't slog through any more.

Haven’t read them all but can definitely say Scattered Ashes by Annie Anderson is worth the read. Here is my review:

I am actually very pleased with this exposure to this author. There was a lot of background history given at first, but once I got past that and felt the storyline start moving, it flowed great! These characters had me on the seesaw of love/ hate. A very gripping tale that should entertain most any PNR reader! Love, love, love the surprise factor and I am going to leave it like that.

As of right now I'm just rating Elle Boon's story Xan's Fiesty Mate. I read this previously as it's only book. Xan and Breezy are one hot couple. I love shifter books and Elle has become one of my favorites. Xan finally gets his act together and goes for his mate. Unfortunately there's some trouble going at the same time. This book had plenty of action, desire and love. Hot sex scenes. You will love this entire series, as it's part of the Iron Wolves collection.

Scattered Ashes by Annie Anderson
This is an amazing debut novel! Full of action, love, loss, survival...it has everything you could want & more! I loved the sassy, kick-ass heroine, Aurelia, whose foul mouth & body full of tattoos are right in character. The other characters, especially Rhys, are well-developed & believable.
The world building is excellent.....the addition of a glossary at the beginning of the book was very helpful. This is definitely not your "normal" paranormal book! With creatures like the phoenix, seer, oracle, Aegis, wraith & revenant, you need the glossary to be able to keep up! I am looking forward to reading more books in this series & hope that the anti-heroine gets her due! Thanks, Ms. Anderson, for a great book!

Want to be a vampire killer? Against all paranormals that hurt other people. An unrest of the Gods and Echo was right in the middle, unknown until she turned 21, all hell breaks loose. A fae pregnant with a child from another fae court with trouble is brewing and as is love. Then there are Wyverns, trolls and other paranormals looking for crystals and gold but have to give up a family necklace instead. All the stories are told with techniques that the stories come to life even in a tornado. Good writing, good storytelling. I received a complimentary copy of this book.

Lots of stories!
Great for the price. There's a lot to read to keep you busy for some time. There were 1 or 2 that I either didn't read or couldn't finish because they were just not my type. But, most were great found a few new authors and would stop to go to their site and get more from them. So that made reading this longer!😁. Totally recommend

Great series
As always there were some I loved more than others but that’s good. I love reading collections like this. They expose me to others I may not know about. The ones I love I devour everything they write.

Excellent selection of many many books, only two of which were not to my taste at all.

There is something for everyone in this book. Most stories are book 1 of a series, that's why it took me so long to finish, I had to read the rest of the series.

There are no words...
This is an amazing collection of stories. While one or two didn't grab me, they were all written, heart pounding and cant-put-down reads. All fantastic authors and the characters jumped into your head and stayed there... It will be a set I'll be reading again. With vampires and hunters, shifters, witches and humans you will not be able to knock any of these books....
