F*cked to Death

Rate this book
From the twisted imagination which brought you Sick B*stards and PORN...

They teased him. They made his life a misery. They cut deep psychological scars into his mind which twisted him to the "man" he is today. They did it all... But he doesn't go for revenge. At least not in the way other people would. He makes moves to love them - be it for the hour he booked them for or on a promise of something longer lasting and emotionally deeper. Only when they trust him and their guards are lowered do they see his true colours....

And his well-used collection of sex toys lined with broken glass and razor blades.

F*cked To Death is an extreme horror with graphic situations and sexual content. This is a work of fiction for fans of dark horror, it is not for the easily offended or squeamish so - if you fall into those categories - please do not purchase this title.

Biography

MATT SHAW was born, quite by accident (his mother tripped, he shot out) September 30th 1980 in Winchester hospital where he was immediately placed on the baby ward and EBay. Some twelve years later (wandering the corridors of the hospital and playing with road kill when he was on day release), the listing closed and he remained unsold, he was booted out of the hospital to start his life as a writer and hobbit – beginning with writing screenplays and short stories for his own amusement before finally getting published when he was twenty-seven years and forty-five seconds old.

Once Published weekly in a lad's magazine with his photography work, Matt Shaw is also a published author and cartoonist. Has to be said, can be a bit of a flirt and definitely, without a shadow of a doubt, somewhat of a klutz.

Outstanding!

5 stars for this staggeringly gruesome piece of fiction & a perfect break from reading psychological thrillers, back to back.
Extreme excruciating exacting revenge against bullying. The author's warnings are legit!
I've always been enthralled by a truly horrific & cringe-worthy story & Matt Shaw does not disappoint.
Perfect for fans that love dark, demented & psychologically mind blowing horror stories. A superb quick read!

Sooooo my friend told me to read Matt's books and i was okay. This is not romance or anything like that.

This is straight up horror!!! Like i was shocked about this since i went in blind.. and gotta say i feel bad for the victims lol
Bad for Donnie.. but then again not since he is taking his revenge on all these ppls who didnt do nothing..

Their allt of triggers... and stuff that made me go "WTFDD" but it wasn't to hardcore dark.. maybe ill read another to see if ill read more...

WARNING THIS IS NOT ROMANCE OR FOR THE FAINT AT HEART.

This is a title to be taken literally. The story focuses more on a dude's background and how he is bullied and why he is the way he is. From the title, you might get the idea that he enjoys killing hookers with sex toys. Or not. Maybe you didn't get that idea. This story continues with Whore. I didn't like the open ended ending, but glad to know there's more to HER story

F*cked to Death was a major disappointment and a book that I can not recommend. I praised “Sick Bastards”, another book by Matt Shaw for its well-written plot, yes, it was shocking and disturbing but that furthered the plot.

I found the main character in this book to be pathetic, but fairly well done, someone I could easily see as a real life serial killer but that all became futile when the book ended up being nothing but “click-bait” for a different book. This book did not conclude the story it set out to tell, instead we got a plot twist, which was nothing more than an advertisement for Shaw’s other book “whore”.

PSYCHOS WITH AGENDAS

WHY am I reading such extreme vulgar, gory, disgusting, vivid, gruesome, brutal horror stories written by my brotha from anotha motha? Because I LOVE it of course.

I thought I saw where this storyline was headed...NOPE! What a great storyline; ending with two twisted bastards sharing company with each other with them both having a sick agenda for the other- OUTSTANDING!

THIS has been my favorite Matt Shaw story this far..onto the next one I go 😁

Short

It wasn't a long book rather short and the repeat of phrases was unnerving almost like the author was just trying to fill pages. The plot was good but there just wasn't enough detail or back story. Maybe next time

Am I twisted because of this rating? Some might say a resounding yes! While others, maybe. I think not. I’m naturally drawn to psychology and that entails seeing beyond what’s not always obvious.

This story (in my opinion) was written well, a little too well and in some senses, it read like a memoir. Although I did notice a repeat fragment of sentences in the start and nearing toward the ending of the book, everything else came across as very real; like a true story.

This guy Donald, has been labeled as a psychopath. But from what I can see here is really a deep extension of dysfunction that derived from his days of brutal bullying. I’ve never been bullied, but I’ve had harsh words shot at me for a few consecutive years, and that does something to the emotional side of our humanity. Depending on when the abuse occurs, and the age of the individual, along with their mindset, it can lead to some devastating outcomes. So I won’t downplay the effects of his childhood abuse.

Donald was for the most part a pessimist and it seemed as if he was out to get back at life for these endless accounts of wrong-doings, because life was—as it seems—always out to get him. However, although injustices shouldn’t ever be overlooked, they at the same token, should not be repeated. This is parable of the sower it seems, and that of immense pain and anguish. He, unable to find any form of hope, continued this vicious cycle that was being done unto him, even in his adult years.

I just wish Donald realized that he too has become his greatest tormentors, and just like them, what you do to others...

I think you get the idea, or do you?

In other words...a wickedly twisted way to say, I enjoyed.

I had to laugh a bit at the warning in the front....if you're reading Matt Shaw, you should know what you are getting in to. Fun storyline with a nice twist at the end to have you picking up the next book.

This story was about a man who has deep psychological emotions which turns into revenge and an unusual kink.

I thought it was well written. They character was written and described well.

There was sex, gore, and mutilation. It easily gripped me and kept me turning the pages. I just feel like it didnt have enough action.

FUCKED TO DEATH ... The story of a loser/misogynist working through his life in a miserable 9-5 job to a once a month double date with a gigolo first followed straight to a whore! It's done in a usual beautifully macabre way we are used to reading from Matt Shaw.

I think the author must have been bullied as a child because most of his books I've read have something to do with being bullied and the consequences it has on a person for the rest of his or her life.

That's certainly the case for the main character in this book. He is bullied from childhood until the present time, although I did wonder how much of it was in his imagination--he expected to be bullied, so he saw bullying in every situation. I don't think people at work would ever act like he thinks the people at his job are treating him.

He doesn't have a conscience. He blames whatever he does on having been bullied and taunted his entire life. He makes no attempt to change. He takes out his frustrations on people that never harmed him. That's the only way he can feel powerful. He puts other people in the places of his bullies and treats them very badly. The revenge he thinks he is getting only relieves his stress for a little while. Then it starts all over again.

It's difficult to feel any sympathy for this character. He may be a victim of bullying, but he pretty much hates the world.

There really isn't much graphic horror in this book. It's actually kind of sad if you think about it--a life wasted because he feels bad about himself, so he believes the rest of the world is taunting him for the very same reason. Again, it's difficult to tell how much of the bullying is real and how much is in his head. The guy is so self-centered, annoying and humorless that you really don't care, though.

Definitely not your typical Matt Shaw book.

Another very interesting read by Matt Shaw!

We have another revenge story, which I always love, and the violence is not held back!

3/5

Unfortunately, I read this book before "Whore" by Shaw. While it's not necessary, that one should be read first before this one.

What can I say....

I read the warnings and with open eyes (and open mind) I went ahead and read it anyway. Horror is definitely the word of the day but in the end revenge came out loud and clear. Don't think it will be the last Matt Shaw book I'll read. Especially if a dark mood is the feeling of the day.

I enjoyed this story, but not as much as I enjoyed other books by Shaw. I will check out Whore and see where the story goes.

This is the story of Donald aka Donald Duck (much preferred to the other name) aka Donnie Diddy D*ck.

Bullied by his “friends” (and now the colleagues) and shunned by his girlfriends for the unfortunate length of his manly appendage, he finds his joy in two things:

● one a man, the other a woman - both of them whores
● one who submits for money (for drugs?), the other lured by money, but instead compelled to meet their painful fate, but both fortunately for Donald, simply desperate enough
●one is sort of permanent, the other has to be changed after every “appointment” in justification of the title of the book, both serving their own roles in completely practical real life therapy for psychopaths
● One helps him avenge his bullies and the other his first girlfriend, both suffering in proxy for someone else (thats life, I guess)
● One giving him instant psychological gratification of having power to verbally abuse someone who cannot (or will not) retaliate, and the other providing him with the fodder for a deferred sexual gratification (due to and in spite of the situation down there), both mere puppets in Donald’s story.

It is interesting that being bullied created the tendency to be a bully in Donald and not be more empathetic to the weaker. Donald, in trying to be a bully, forgot the golden rule - Its a big mistake to bully the wrong person.

People like Donald, they always bring it upon themselves.

I was going to give this ** but apparently, there is a sequel called "Whore" so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt for now.

Pretty disappointed to be honest. I usually like Matt Shaw. I've given some high ratings before, but this one just didn't do it for me I'm afraid. The main character is an absolute prick (A small one too...hehe). I just didn't feel anything when I'd finished this one. Sorry Matt :(

In this story we follow a man who’s been heavily bullied his whole life. In means to cope he has a schedule once a month to meet with a man and a woman for different purposes as his own personal form of therapy.

This was a good read, hard for you to feel bad for the character tho, just because of the way he carries himself as an adult. Part one in the story with the next being titled “Whore”.

Unimaginative and bland with disappointingly poor writing. I was expecting more from a book that literally has “an extreme horror” in its title, but the horror aspect of the book (if we can even call it that) was really just misogyny with a side of fragile masculinity. Not worth the read.
