I am voluntarily writing this review for this book I received through arc.
Lori and her friend Stephanie went out to brunch. Stephanie wanted to talk to her she asked her for a favor. She asked if she could take on another dog for a couple of weeks for a friend. Lori finds out the dog belongs to Harris Camden the Billionaire playboy. Lori had seen him in the tabloids with a different women every time. Lori couldn’t wait to meet his German Shepard and check out Harris. Lori loved the animals she took care of and one more wouldn’t hurt. Lori and Harris have gotten close and while she was there his dog got sick. Harris knew he would have to call the one person he never wanted to see again. Harris secret is now coming to the forefront. Can Lori handle it knowing what is about to happen? A cliffhanger until the next book

I had a hard time finishing this book. I am glad that I got it for free, because I would not have been happy if I had paid for this romance. I found the sexual scenes to be average and not erotic (YMMV). I found both main characters uninteresting and had trouble finding empathy for them. The author writes well, and her dialogue is easy to follow, but I just could not get into the story.

If you expect the typical "boy meets girl, boy get gets girl, they live happily ever after", forget it. This story takes off after Harris begins a relationship with Lori. As more details of Harris and Lori's past are revealed, the action and chaos in this narrative skyrockets. Hold on to your seats and wait for the surprises. Entertaining Read!

I hate to only give three stars but my book was very choppy and I had a hard time trying to understand what was happening. I think if the story was brought together it would have been great
