I really wanted to like this book, but I just... couldn't! The story idea intrigued me, and I've had a thing for paranormal alien romance lately, so I had high hopes. However, the writing of this book was just awful. It was all I could do to force myself to finish the first of the four books in the set, because I really wanted to give it a chance. The characters, once their personalities start to be developed a tad, are mildly appealing, and again the premise appealed to me. But I just didn't enjoy reading it at all. It got to the point where my entire family could tell I had picked it up to try and read a bit, because I was just spouting negative comments through the whole thing, something that is not at all usual for me. The writing was very rudimentary, almost like a school kid had written it. The author apparently doesn't know what a contraction is, which made all of the dialogue sound unnecessarily formal and stilted. The characters were introduced by their full names every time that one was presented, even if they were address their cohorts. And, probably the most annoying thing for me personally, the tenses and viewpoints would change constantly - sometimes within the same sentence! Not a book I recommend, unless grammar is just not your thing.

This box set contains the 4 books of the ALIENS OF XEION series, giving you the entire story at your fingertips to enjoy! Each story shares a common beginning, then focuses on one of the alien crew members and a human woman to tell their experience with the cyborgs after the Xeion ship crashes on their planet. Captain Alicron Qinov headed up to the bridge as they approached the blue planet of Earth. Their purpose here was to capture a small group of human women and take them to their planet Xeion. If they were compatible, additional secret visits to capture more humans would follow in order to repopulate the planet. This was their only hope. The Kynon race would become extinct if they were not successful.
After the days’ activities, the ladies on this relaxing desert retreat went out for a moonlight hike. The night was beautiful! One woman pointed to a meteor but they were confused when it came to a stop and hovered above the ground! A group of tall men approached and released a sleeping gas on the women, then carried them unconscious aboard the ship.
But on the return to the Kynons’ planet with the captive women, the ship was caught in another planet’s gravity and crashed, parts of it scattered all over a wide area. Captain Alicron Qinov was alone when he woke up, but below a ridge, he spotted a huge group of cyborgs! And elsewhere, two of the human women, Nancy and Vicki, woke up in a cage being carried by other cyborgs! What would the cyborgs do with them? Would they survive? Would Alicron be able to rescue them? And what happened to the rest of the crew and passengers when their ship crashed here?

Bridget Thomas, one of the Earth women, awoke on odd-colored orange sand and looked around at scattered pieces of the spaceship. She wandered around and spotted more wreckage, where she found one of the blue aliens who had kidnapped them, Lieutenant Vnor Gin. Together, they then tried to locate more survivors.
Bridget and Vnor backtracked along multiple footprints to find where whoever left the tracks had come from. They tried unsuccessfully to hide when they unexpectedly encountered twenty cyborgs who took them captive! They were marched to a battle-damaged city and K6R, the leader, had Vnor imprisoned and Bridget taken to his quarters, kicking and screaming. Would Vnor break out and free her by the time the cyborg leader returned to deal with her? Could he break his chains and reach her in time? Or would Vnor be executed before he could get to her?
Despite the brief background story repeated in each of the books, it does not get boring. The experiences that each Kynon crew member has with the cyborgs, as well as the human he is drawn to, combine to make an action-packed story line the reader will enjoy. Find out if the human captives and the Kynon crew members are able to escape from the cyborgs and find a way off this deadly planet to return to Xeion! You have the whole exciting story right here! This is a fantastic, captivating action-packed box-set (complete 4 book – Aliens of Xeion) and I thoroughly enjoyed reading each one of them. What you will find in this box-set is: drama, intrigue, suspense, twists & turns, adventure, action, humor, well built blue aliens, feisty human females, abduction, spaceships, crash landings, confusion, evil cyborgs, defiance, attractions, manipulations, verbal disagreement, some verbal banter, lust, love and some steamy erotic scenes. This is a intriguing box-set with fantastic story-lines & riveting plots, which is well-thought out and written. The characters are well-developed and react with feelings of defiance, fear, doubts, needs and desires with regards to the situation they find themselves in. I would recommend this box-set to people who enjoy reading well-written "SciFi Alien Abduction Romance" I doubt that you would be disappointed.

I read the bundle in one sitting. It’s a great idea for an alien romance series but the editing is beyond horrible. There are missing words, misspelled words, wrong words (as if Apple spell-check inserted a different word - ‘took’ rather than ‘shook’) Books 1 & 2 are inundated with mistakes and the author’a notes at the beginning of a chapter in book 3 were not stricken. Seriously, I would be embarrassed to have this out for others to read. Totally unprofessional. You wouldn’t turn something like this in at school if your grade depended on it. Why subject your readers to it if you’re serious about your writing.

I was given a copy of this ARC for my honest review and was thrilled to be able to do so. Maia Starr has taken the coveted blue alien to new heights in this series. Strong women sexy women, tall muscular alpha men. The personalities of the characters and sub-characters blend so seamlessly forming a storyline you won't be able to put down. If you truly want to see how an alien series should be written and play out, do yourself a favor and read this one. Definitely a 5 star rating and worth the time.

With all 4 books of this series ready to go in this box set you best put some time aside. I can be a bit on the fence with this type of genre but I really enjoyed it and have enjoyed Maia's other series Weredragons Of Tivuso. I thought the characters were great, they all had their own personalities, the men were deliciously Alpha and the women were strong willed which made a perfect combination. From the first book you will be hooked and need to read the next straight after. If you enjoyed this series you should also give Maia Starrs Weredragons Of Tivuso series.

Maia Starr has another set to add to the collection. I enjoyed all the books. I only wished the book set had come out before I had purchased each individual book. Didn't realize that I was missing one book so bought it and then 2days later set came out. Kind of felt like I was taken for a ride or cheated. Ms Starr does write some excellent books. I won't quit buying her books but will be careful in the future and wait for awhile before I make final purchase.

This is the complete series featuring all four books. You have an alien race that needs human females to serve as mates. They kidnap a group of women from Earth and it goes very wrong when they crash on an alien planet.
The women are very angry about their captivity and some of them face abuse from their captors. The author does tell the story from both the male and female characters point of view which I prefer. I

Spoiler Alert *******Os dois primeiros livros são ótimos (5 Stars). A questão do herói ter 3 metros de altura me incomodou bastante mas, foi uma leitura divertida. O terceiro livro tem cena de sexo (detalhada) com um cyborg (vilão) e a heroína. Detestei isso! E o quarto livro, não consegui passar do primeiro capítulo já que a heroína é abusada sexualmente por um cyborg. Sério? Estou desistindo de Maia Starr.

Well what can I say about this book? I wish I could get my money 💰 back because it was bad. The stories has a good premise and the characters were interesting but the writing was juvenile. It read like this was the writers first book. Each word was written out to it is fullness. Can we say contractions . There's nothing wrong with writing it's, I'm, or won't. I won't be buying from this author again until she matures a little but more. Rewrite

Wow! just Wow - really good tales about alien abduction gone wrong after a crash on a cyborg planet! 4 crew members on the absuction and 4 tales after crashing!
What more can a girl on an alien planet want than an alien protector when in trouble on a planet of cyborgs??

Can't get much better than four books all at once. This series is full of action, miscommunication, spit worthy bad guys and definitely swoon worthy good guys!! The women are incredible in this series...articulate and independent ....love this series.

Loved every one of these stories an amazing collection hot and steamy and it's great to get the series in one Collection I've read quite few of this authors alien stories and enjoyed them definitely a must read series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.

This may be a decent story, but I couldn't get past the grammar. Too many structural errors or missteps in essay. A lot of redundancy in the rhetoric. Ms. Starr needs a better editor.

What a great series it was nonstop right from the start with strong alpha males and even stronger women that push the boundaries and the buttons of their men that have kidnaped them all. This is a must read its action packed right from the start through till the very end. Simply Amazing

The grammar and punctuation is so bad in these books. Were they not edited? There were a few times that there were cut/paste sections that made no sense at all.
Entertaining story idea. The characters were never well developed, dialog was flat, forced, unnatural.
