I'm looking forward to trying out a couple of these recipes before we start RVing. There were some interesting spice mixes and different styles of cooking/International flavors that I honestly wasn't expecting from a camping recipe book.

I have done every kind of camping from back pack up to 5th wheel we lived in. Haven't been able to go for the past 10 years because had to bring an adult son home who is brain damaged. We just bought a small trailer and I am raring to go but wanted some reminders. First for the 4 stars it is advertised as an RV cook ground but it is mostly for outdoor cooking. I have done it all to baking bread and desserts to everything you could get in a skillet or pot. When I baked bread it wasn't being done unless you wrapped around a stick. Had nose in the air smelling the location of it. Your book had some very nice recipes but too many were similar with just a change of ingredients. If you want to cook outside using foil a very good use for this book.

You can cook anything you make at home with just a little fore thought. I have stood in grocery stores with something in my hands wondering what I could do with it. Dutch ovens are great, use them inside. The new pressure cookers are what I am going to take with me now. You can make almost anything in either of them. HAPPY CAMPING. Don't sweat the small stuff just have a good time and enjoy Mother Nature.
