Lot of place-setting for the final volume here. I think this is likely going to wrap up with some semblance of a happy ending, but we shall see.

Sanae really got the short end of the stick out of all the characters in this series. Mugi keeps on being a teenage idiot with his enabler. I hope this ends as messy as the rest of the series, at least a little, but it definitely has potential to be entirely too pat at the end as well.

Great art and writing as usual though.

why did i read this? why did i finish it? god i really hate myself

i usually like reading about really insufferable and unlikeable people but this was just unbearable and annoying. i think i would've been satisfied if there was some sort of payoff regarding character development and relationships... i really wish it went into a different direction

Viva l'ottimismo, davvero!

As I was excited after first volume and started to read next volumes, my excitement quickly transformed into dissappointment. I loved to read mangas before but nowadays I don't read them too often, well, because they are serialized and their storyline is often turned into a big mess. Looong mess so they can serialize until their death. Unfortunatelly, this manga ended in the same way.

As I liked the plot from the first and next few volumes, all of the conflicts suddenly resolved by themselves and *poof*, the tension is gone. The whole story about unrequited love turned into the "I will sleep with whoever I want and will see if this can make me feel less empty".

You know, you should have some kind of pacing in the storyline. Like building up tension, conflict, resolution etc. The pseudo-resolution in this manga ended unprofesionally and kind of easy, especially when you look back at how heavy subjects characters were dealing with.

The characters are lost, I get it, but they somehow turned out as author want them not as they really are. Man who likes beautiful noble woman. He find out woman of his dream is a sl*t. Okay, fine with that, I love her so bad, so let's sleep together. (Absolutely no dissapointment. And then why women rage when men are going only after good looks and sex. We know not everyone is like this, so why not portrait it in the story??? Because as you can find twisted people in the world, you can also find idealists and shinies who have morals so strong you will feel like sh*t after meeting them. :D)

"Why is it that we just can't live alone?"
