THE NEWEST STAND ALONE NOVEL IN THE BEST SELLING SUGARKINK SERIES!

**Bette is undercover as a sub at Club Volare. Cole is the Dom who sees right through her. Only one of them will end up on top.**

Bette Liffey is a survivor. She strips to pay the bills, but she lives for her little sister — and now, because of her powerful lying creep of an ex-husband, a corrupt social worker has decided that Lizzie should live in foster care until Bette can “earn” his recommendation. And to do that, she needs to get the dirt on one Spencer Cole, FBI Agent and Dom. Which is how Bette ends up going undercover as a submissive at Club Volare—and how she ends up the property of Spencer Cole for the night.

He’s the sexiest, most intimidating man she’s ever met. He owns her. And he Sees. Right. Through her.

Now Bette has to find a way to keep it together, even with her hands tied behind her back. But she’s a survivor—she can handle it. Just as long as she doesn’t do anything stupid, like fall in love…

FBI Agent Spencer Cole knows a few things: he always gets his man, he always gets his sub, and he can’t stand liars. He married one once, a long time ago, and it didn’t end well. But when Bette Liffey walks into Club Volare pretending to be something she’s not, he can’t turn away. This is a sub in need, even if she doesn’t know it. And Cole’s going to be the Dom to give her what she needs — over and over again.

He knows she’s hiding something. He knows she’s afraid. But the connection between them demands he go deeper. Bette Liffey is a mystery that Spencer Cole will solve.

But when her lies catch up to them both, Cole will have to choose: the case of his career, or the little sub who’s been lying all along.

Of course, Cole is a Dom. And no one touches his sub but him.

I have an overactive imagination and too much time on my hands, and the result is...well, lots of books! Which is probably better than the alternative. ;)

I love writing steamy and erotic romances, some dark, some light, but always about something that moves me. And, because I'm totally a sucker, love tends to win out. Everyone deserves a happy ending. :)

My contemporary BDSM erotic romance series, Club Volare, has hit the genre bestseller charts on Amazon a few times, which is just awesome. Right now there are two books, Sold to the Sheikh and Tied to the Tycoon, with a third, Disciplined by the Dom, due in February 2013. And I've also got this paranormal series in the very beginning stages of development that I'm super excited about. When I'm not writing those, I'm gonna be reading -- if you've got any good recs, send them my way!

And if you want to hear about those new releases when they come out, you can sign up for my New Releases list here (I *only* use it for that; I hate spam so much!).

Lots of love, and happy reading!!
x Chloe

Another hot sexy read from Ms. Cox! She always pulls me into a story and I get wrapped up in her characters. She writes Dom/sub stories so well. I have read this series since the start and have loved all the characters and their hang ups and sexy times.

Cole and Bette are no exception to the series. Their story and struggle together is interesting without the petty drama...thank goodness. No misunderstandings or I am leaving you. Just a hot sexy strong Dom who knows himself and his sub and hangs in there to do the right thing at the right time in all things!

Great story and as always I will read everything Ms Cox puts out! Received an ARC from the author. Thanks!

I really enjoy the Club Volare series. Ms Cox's characters are fully developed with all the angst and doubts that we all have. Here we have Bette Liffey and Spencer Cole. Bette has been raising her half-sister who was more or less dumped on her. She has an ex-husband who is a master manipulator and as crooked as a dog's hind leg. She is also interested in exploring the submissive side of her nature. When her sister is taken and put in foster care, and since she has no support system, her slime bag social worker sends her 'undercover' to get all the dirt she can on ex-cop, now FBI agent, Spencer Cole. Cole is a member/part owner of the NOLA Club Volare, a BSDM club, and when he sees Bette in the club, he instantly knows that she lied to get in and is in way over her head. His ex-wife was a liar too and the experience has made him not only cynical, but cautious. However, there is something about Bette that he cannot resist. Her innate strength and willing submission speaks to the dom in him. Despite a huge reluctance, Bette tries to get the info for the social worker. At the same time, Cole is fighting his reluctant attraction and need to protect Bette, even from herself. This is a HOT story with some BDSM scenes, but they are not gratuitous. They are more than that, this is a love story. Will Bette get her sister back? Will Cole be able to keep Bette safe from those who would hurt her including her ex? There is a happily ever after and no cheating. I cannot stress enough how good this series is!

>Book Review – Private Dancer
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 12th in the Club Volare series and ends in an HEA. Bette is a stripper struggling to regain custody of her sister. Her evil ex has the social worker assigned to Bette’s case in his pocket. They are forcing Bette to join Club Volare and get anything incriminating on Cole.
>Cole has been burned in the past by a deceitful ex and a work scandal. He is a Dom and a police officer trying to combat corruption. Bette falls for him immediately and is unable to find any dirt on him. Bette is also deceitful, like Cole’s ex, yet Cole is extremely forgiving of her, which seemed a bit odd. I liked the interplay and dialogue between Cole and Bette. Their dynamic seemed realistic. I would have liked some backstory as to why Bette was a stripper. She seemed bright and able to get a different job in order to keep custody of her sister.
>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 4 stars. The D/s aspect of the story was good, as was the action. The only thing that felt off was Cole’s easy forgiveness.

I love this book. Cole and Bette turned out to be a beautiful couple. Bette was sent in undercover to find something that could be used against Cole. She was trying to get her sister back but she was being blackmailed. But the blackmail had nothing on Spencer Cole, when he dominated you couldn't resist. Both of them had bad experiences prior to meeting and it was hard to trust but once the two of them got together they were heating up the sheets. Cole was after Mark and didn't know he was as close as he was to getting his man. It was beautiful to see them fall in love and to find what they both need which was a family and somebody to love. I love the suspense and the action that came with the story. I love seeing how Bette found her strength to fight back with the love of her Dom. All I can say is that Chloe did her thing with this story. I'm going to miss New Orleans on to Boston.

Private Dancer by Chloe Cox is her 12th book of the Club Volare series.
This is the story of Cole and Bette. From the very first encounter, sparks fly. It’s like they have known each other for years. Cole and Bette just click right away. They both have exes they would rather forget and scars that cut them deep. Should they take a chance on this whirlwind attraction or is it just about sex. Can Cole be her Dom but not her man? Does he want to?
This book was another visit to our favorite club, Volare. Getting to see old some old characters is always great. Chloe did a great job of telling this love story with just the right amount of spice.
I just wish the epilogue took place later in time so we could see them with kids.
Loved this book and looking forward to the next book which will feature the Boston Club Volare

This writer's strength is in the human dilemmas and relationships. After a few books, the Dom/sub behaviors and sex are predictable. I actually skimmed most of that to get back to the story.

This one starts like almost every other book in this series. The female meets a physically powerful Dom with some kind of magic laser beam eyes that can see everything in her soul and read her mind. He mesmerizes her to the point where she can barely breathe and almost melts on the spot.

Here's another Dom who has decided he doesn't do relationships when, we know if you've read ANY OTHER BOOK, that isn't true. Bette is another female who is mesmerized by the Dom magic. She has a big problem and definitely needs a hero.

Smoking hot dynamics.

One of the better stories in this series, and I have read a good many of them. From New York to LA and now New Orleans. It's a fun series a definitely worth a look. Each can be read as stand alone stories, previous characters do show up randomly. It's always fun to know everyone's story. Private Dancer had some exciting action, adventure going on that kept me glued to my reader. Well, that and the smoking hot dynamics going on between Cole and Bette. *fanning self* A nicely paced story with a satisfying ending. I will be looking forward to the next book eluded to in the epilogue. Sounds like we may be going to Boston next. How fun.

Amazing!!!

I give this book 5 star review because I love a good investigation to a interesting police case with all the information needed to understand it. The love storyline was incredible with the Dom/ sub relationship going on during the misunderstandings and secrets but I guess that’s what makes the story interesting all at the same time. Can’t wait to see what happens with Connor Kelly in his story... and a love like the one you described for Cole and Bette is a love that you only see once in a lifetime or in stories. I recommend this book to anyone who likes these kind of stories because in my opinion I loved every minute of it.

I am not sure how she does. It, but Chloe Cox puts so much emotion on the pages of her books, i just drown in it. Bette and Cole may be my favorite couple of all time, at least until the next Club Volare book comes out. I don’t know how she manages to write such compelling stories, with good plots and so much romance, but i am so glad she does. There is some BDSM in her books but that seems so natural too, and it doesn’t overwhelm the feel of the story. Love this book as much as the others in this series, and can’t wait for the next one!

A fun, throw-away read. Scenes were hot but story was packed full of very unlikely coincidences. It would have been more satisfying if Cole knew she was the ex when he first saw her. He could act like he didn't know while gathering more info, going from despising her for lying to understanding her plight to ultimately falling in love with her. I mean come on, he should be an incredible investigator, how could he miss she was the ex! Social media people. It made him seem weak which took the experience for me down a notch.

Heart-warming thinking persons' BDSM love story

I have enjoyed all of Chloe Cox's Club Volare stories but Private Dancer may be my new favorite. I loved the chemistry and connection between Bette and Cole and how they each grew as their D/s relationship progressed. Bette's relationship with her sister Lizzie pulled at my heart and added extra depth to her character and the story. It was fun to have the other Club Volare members appear in the book which can easily be read as a stand alone though I encourage you to read this wonderful series.

Great book. Some hot sex scenes and enough excitement to keep you on the edge of your seat. I love the Dom in Cole. I also love how he 'got' Bette. They were both coming from similar circumstances - both unwilling to trust. But he understood her and empowered her and that's what love should be about. Bette wasn't someone who could be stepped on either. She had guts. Good chemistry between them You could almost feel it. Definitely in my read again category.

Bette is pressured to go undercover to a BDSM club to get the dirt on Cody. Although Bette is a stripper, trying to make ends meet, she is out of her depth at Club Volare and needs to be rescued by Cody when she accidentally puts herself up for auction. The story presents a background where Cody as a cop is investigating a criminal who trafficks drugs and exploits women. But Chloe Cox is not a very good crime writer. The romance is OK.

So nice to visit Club Volare again

Bette has a serious problem. Can Cold help her? Can she help him? The journey to their HEA is not easy. It involves bad men. Bad men hurting Bette. Trust is hard to earn. Love is even harder. But Cold and Bette are lucky to find each other. We are lucky Chloe Cox let's us tag along for the ride.

I was so excited for this installment of the Club Volare series! I wanted Cole to get his HEA and I knew he would be amazing! Bette deserved this too!! She, unknowingly, pushes his hot button but he pushed through and finds out why he’s so drawn to her. With his help she becomes the person she was meant to be. With her, he becomes the man he never thought he would be. LOVE!

Hot, sexy, domination...Club Volare always delivers

I've read all of Club Volare books and have enjoyed every one. Hot, sexy, protective dominant man and smart, sexy, usually in trouble submissive female. They have a pattern but it works. Cole and Bette find their HEA after a few twists. And as always, the heat is sizzling.

Super story!
A wonderful addition to this terrific series! Bette is a sympathetic character in the beginning, and it's wonderful watching her gain personal strength throughout the book. Cole is the kind of man most women dream about with his combined strength of character and tenderness. All of the characters are terrific and brought to life through Ms. Cox's terrific writing.

This series is soooo good

This series just keeps getting better and better. After so many books you’d think it was monotonous and nothing new to surprise you but not this series. I cannot get enough of it. Cole and Bette were so good together!!!

I love this author and think her books are quite engaging and interesting. I never want to put them down and I certainly don’t want them to end...but each has had an HEA and one has been better than the next!!

Good i guess, started it before, stopped it because of a scene, then read again and through. Was good probably but a little too much drama and not much homelife everday life, (-> real character depiction)
