Missing Love
Jason Turner was happy with his life. He had good friends and a beautiful girlfriend called Alessandra. It was love at first sight, but being still at school; nobody took their feelings seriously.
The only problem that Jason had was Alessandra’s controlling father, Ezio.
He would never give Jason the time of day. One-day Ezio decided that the school, Alessandra’s friends, and Jason were too much of a distraction, especially as she was leading up to the most critical final two years at school.
Ezio’s idea to deal with this distraction was to create another for Alessandra.
Everything that she had built up over the years along with her happiness was instantly taken away from her. Her mother Rose would just accept Ezio’s ways as she never had the nerve to stand up to her husband.
The latest plan from the controlling Ezio devastated Alessandra and Jason as this was sure to come between them.
Alessandra was determined to succeed and rebuild her life and try to get back as much of the happiness that she once had. However, as time moves on, so do others with their lives.
Would Ezio get his way and build a large enough gap between Alessandra and Jason?
It was a dangerous game when trying to gain control…he could so easily be losing the love of his daughter at the same time.
Will Ezio see through his ways before it is too late?
Will Alessandra build enough courage to finally stand up to her father for the sake of Rose and her own happiness?

Like most authors, the big time is the ultimate dream. I am by no means a professional writer and certainly no proof reader, but somebody who has a few stories to tell.
It is nice to be able to switch off and away from any negatives on a day to day basis and then drift off into my own space to write.
A writing course educated me in thinking that nothing is poor, nothing is bad. The people that reflect on such things are purely suggesting that their opinion differs to others.
Also, a writer should not write for the view of others, a writer should write for themselves and they will eventually create their own audience.

The story is about two young lovers whose love was challenged by separation, time and absence; but as true love goes, everything was worth the wait. Two teens were forced to break up as the girl’s father has decided the relationship was not for her best interest. Being apart though has changed nothing for the both of them as they moved forward in their lives. Through the years, deep inside they were feeling that something was missing and they knew there was only one person who could fill up their heart completely. Many years have passed but the feelings stayed on as strong as it was just like yesterday. And wonderfully, their waiting was not in vain.
The story also touches on the eventual breakthrough of a father whose decisions have caused a lot of hurt feelings within his home. This is one of the most tender moments of the story, because it shows that true love is not limited to romantic love...it encompasses all kinds of love.
As you read this book, you will find yourself rooting and hoping that one day they will find each other. You will root for Alessandra as she starts to learn to take steps towards her personal liberation and claiming her freedom. Your heart will melt when her father made a complete turnaround and was regretful of his past decisions. Most of all, warmth will fill up your heart as you witness the two lovers’ happy-ever-after. It’s a feel-good story that will make you believe in true love. And if you’re a romantic at heart, you will definitely enjoy this book.

5 Stars. An Excellent Story!
Mark D. Radford’s excellent story of star-crossed lovers is a delight to read. Alessandra and Jason slowly recover from the traumatic separation in their teens to grow to maturity and wisdom. They both are steadfast and loyal in their own ways, and take the reader on a journey never to be forgotten. Every character is memorable, and as for Ezio, the bully of a father, he is someone whose path I hope never to cross! Will these young lovers find each other again? You’ll find out in MISSING LOVE. Highly recommended!

Brilliant
Yet again Mark Radford has produced an amazing read. I can't say too much without giving the book away. I did a lot of shouting in my head towards some of the decisions the characters made. I love it when a book draws me in like that.

Yet again Mark has achieved something different with his usual success. Fabulous ending. Brilliant
