All My Wishes Can Come True This Way

Be What You Wish
By Neville Goddard

All My Wishes Can Come True This Way
WOW! When you go through the pages of this book, your spirit man will rise up and say, "yes, yes, yes," you are finally here. When I read the book, it took my breath away - then it gave a brain freeze because it was so good. I like this book; I like it a lot. As I scan each page and began applying them to my life, I knew my life would never be the same. I knew immediately if I applied these principles the first thing that would change was my prayer and meditation time God. This book kept me focused to every word expressed in the book. It was exciting and kept me engrossed all the way through; I just couldn't put it down.

I knew I already had the creative power within me, which is one of the criteria you must have in order to walk or understand this level of consciousness -, but I didn't have to this to the depth he put it in. Remember this is new to me; the book shows how your imagination and affirmations creative plays an important part that can change our world, can change my mind so it will change my future. Let me stop here - its so much in this book I'll end up writing a sequel to it.

Bardzo ciezko jednoznacznie ocenic mi te ksiazke, wiec podziele na czesci skladowe.

1. Tresc. Do jednych przemowi, do innych wrecz przeciwnie.
3. Sposob pisania. Dla mnie zbyt biblijny i kaznodziejski.

Neville Goddard was a great writer and speaker on the power of consciousness and thoughts over what we consider to be reality.

Be What You Wish is a collection of some of his speeches. Most of the text does a good job of conveying his words onto paper/screen. But there are issues with punctuation that would confuse a reader but might have been clearer to understand when the speech was delivered.

The content of this book isn't as packed as the books actually written by Neville or edited by others. It's a one-time read but not among the best works based on Neville.

3/5 stars.

Dripping with deep truth

As much as I've read of Neville Goddard's work, it's still hard not to become literally breathless when you encounter deep truth woven into what what is seemingly something he's shared before. I only wish that I could have personally met this gifted prophet. If you're ready to be fed, this is a 5 course meal.

« The first thing you do, you must know exactly what you want in this world. When you know exactly what you want, make as life-like a representation as possible of what you would see, and what you would touch, and what you would do were you physically present and physically moving in such a state. »

« The secret of it is to center your imagination in the feeling of the wish fulfilled and remain therein »

« And where I go in imagination and make it real, there I shall go in the flesh, also »

«  Daily relive the day as you wish you had lived it, revising the scenes to make them conform to your ideals. »

« The one requisite is to arouse your attention in a way, and to such intensity, that you become wholly absorbed in the revised action. You will experience an expansion and refinement of the senses by this imaginative exercise and, eventually, achieve vision in the inner world. »

« Persistent imagination, centered in the feeling of the wish fulfilled, is the secret of all successful operations. »

«  Everything is a manifestation of the mental conversations which go on in us without our being aware of them »

« A man's mental conversations attracts his life »

« Our individual worlds are self-revelations of our own inner speech »

« Our inner conversations are perpetually out-pictured all around us in happenings. Therefore, what we desire to see and hear without we must see and hear within, for the whole manifested world goes to show us what use we have made of the Word. »

« what you desire to see and hear without, you must see and hear within. »

« To consciously and voluntarily use our imagination, to inwardly hear and only say that which is in harmony with our ideal, is actively bringing heaven to earth. »

« extend your senses - look and imagine that you are seeing what you want to see, that you are hearing what you want to hear, and touching what you want to touch. »

« I take my day and I review it in my mind's eye. I start with the first incident in the morning. I go through the day; when I come to any scene in my unfolding day that displeased me, or if it didn't displease me if it was not as perfect as I thought it could have been, I stop right there and I revise it. I re-write it, and after I have re-written it so that it conforms to the ideal I wished I had experienced, then I experience that in my imagination as though I had experienced it in the flesh. I do it over and over until it takes on the tone of reality, »

« Only the loving find love and they never have to seek for it. »

So verifiably true

Neville not only explains what one needs to do to become the person they seek to be but he provides detailed explanation of how one can verify that truth in the practice. He is telling you that you don't have to believe his words because you can follow the instructions and see the truth of it for yourself. This is one of those books worth reading several times.

I initially started the book because I have found Neville Goddard to be profound, but quickly found myself struggling with the depth of religious mention in the book. I have a no DNF rule and so I was determined to get through it. But as I continued I began to understand religion in a way I always assumed it should be and Goddard confirmed and enhanced my understanding of not only religion as it should be but our relationship to religion, the Bible, and God. Mind blown.

The name of the book "Be What You Wish" has already summarized everything in essence. According to Neville Goddard, external circumstances don't matter because it is our inner being that shapes our reality. Therefore, to manifest our deepest desires, we should harness our ability to visualize and wholeheartedly embrace our aspirations. The most important element is to feel it as if you already have what you desire.

This was my first read by Goddard and I would certainly like to sample some more. This is a deep and insightful look into scripture and there are some really useful points made that I've noted - to aid my own manifestation practises. My only reason for marking down to three stars was for the repetitive writing towards the end of the book.

Not completely impressed

It gives some excellent points to use our imagination. But there were sections it felt like it didn't quite fit in, it was repetitive.
I feel like I need to read a second time, perhaps I missed the point.

Understand Who You Are

As stated, our understanding of who we are when we are awakened, we see our true potential to be what we wish to be. Our desire to “BE” is already inside of us, act on the desire in faith and be what you wish...

Good meat here

This approach might be too Bible-y for many people, but the gist of his principals and techniques is excellent and I recommend it to them that can handle the Bible quotes.

Goddard writes in a fluid poetic manner laying truths and biblical verses side by side the emerging New Thought of his era. Nothing is everything, everything nothing is.
