Rate this book
Everyone has a tale to tell, even the villain of someone else's story.

Everyone betrays Bradley, even the one who promised him forever. Fueled by a desire for a better life, Bradley's only concerns are building wealth, finding a woman worthy of him, and avenging himself. But when Bradley is kidnapped by unknown assailants, his plans become derailed. Possibly forever.

Caught between avoiding recapture and surviving Baltimore's tough streets, Bradley is on a mission to discover who wants him as their captive and why. With his unparalleled magic and illicit background, he's certain to succeed. At least, he hopes he can. Finding himself prey doesn't sit well with Bradley when he's used to being the hunter, but there is so much about the magical world he still doesn't know. Can Bradley obtain answers before his pursuers find him? Or will his unknown assailants and the streets of Baltimore be his downfall?

Find out in CORRUPTED BY MAGIC. Magic and fights abound in this slow burning quirky Urban Fantasy with romance. Containing plenty of adult language and situations to keep things dark but a tad spicy, CORRUPTED BY MAGIC has it all. You do not want to miss this.

About the author

V.M. Marsh

V.M. Marsh has led a nomadic existence for most of her adult life while she has accompanied her military husband to duty stations spanning both US coasts and Hawaii. Thanks to living in a variety of amazing places, she has an abundance of locations, cultures, and experiences to use in her writing. Before becoming an author, she held (and still holds) volunteer board positions for multiple organizations and pursued a math degree [after realizing early on that nursing wasn't for her]. Mostly, though, she has held down the fort through deployments, organized and managed multiple military moves, and been a full-time mom of two precious little Divas, er, daughters. When she isn't writing dark but quirky Urban Fantasy, she can be found reading, sightseeing, camping, or crafting.
Her debut novel is CONCEALED BY MAGIC.

So this was just okay for me. It was well written and I read it to the end as I waited for my laundry to finish. But it was just too dark for my liking. This villain is really evil and he doesn't get his in the end. This book was like a ride along in the villain's mind and I'd rather hitch a ride with someone else. I realize this part of series and haven't read book 1. I'm not sure if I want to read it now. Veery good, but very, very dark.
