Mum was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in 2011, aged just 52. Sometimes referred to as Pick’s disease, this rare form of dementia rapidly picked away at Mum and within 3 years of her diagnosis she passed away. This book is a son’s perspective on his mum’s journey through frontotemporal dementia. It is told through a collection of blog posts covering diagnosis, daily care and the final throes of this dreadful disease.
