Life And Its Possible Side Effects

Rate this book
This is a book is about the guys and girls I grew up with. Some names were changed to protect the guilty. Most of this happened in one form or another. I knew these people and knew what they were capable of when unsupervised, so I took some liberties describing some of these events as if no one was looking. This is a book about growing up and then the surprises that come when they expect you to act as an adult. It’s about how we tested our guardian angels at every turn. Every person in this book is, for the most part, a real person. Except one, my alter ego.
I wanted to tell these stories to my grandson Austin, but he was too young at the time. As I was writing this, some of his antics were worthy of being told, so he is the main character in many stories.
Also, I would like to thank the late great author and columnist Lewis Grizzard. He was my hero when it came to humor. I often refer to him as Uncle Lewis. We were not related, but I always felt like we were. I thank him for sharing the same humor and making me not feel so alone in mine. And I would like to thank my father, whom I believe, when in his element, is the funniest man alive.

This book contains politically incorrect and adult jokes that might be considered offensive by some. The content is meant to be humorous!
