Ahh this was such a beautiful and heart warming book! ❤️❤️

Just as the title suggest, this book has plenty of moments of regret, of insecurity, of losing faith and those we love
But despite those nagging thoughts that pop in our minds, there is always that tiny little whisper that brings us hope and light and reminds us of all that we still have

This wonderful book reminded that there is still hope in the darkness, there is still something to hold on to, no matter how far it seems or how dark it looks. There is still hope to cling on

Amel faces one of her biggest challenges yet. Injured in battle, she is recovering from a head injury that may have altered her memories. But Amel believes she saw what she did, but no one knows if they should believe her or not. It is during these times, when we don't think anyone is listening that we lose heart but there are always going to be people, like Amel's beloved dragon Raolcan, who are wise and will advice us to cling to hope, and to know what to do

Amel is definitely luck to have such a lovely dragon like Raolcan, who loves and cares for her. As well as her mentor, Hubric, we see their relationship grow from master and apprentice, to a more father and daughter relationship and I love it!
We see the love and respect Hubric has for Amel, and the love that Savette has for her too
There is just so much love in this book, from all kinds of people, and especially Leng which is only a small part but I still cherish it!

I definitely loved this episode, lifted my spirits and I'll highly recommend this series for all to read, I can't say it enough, it's that awesome! Give it go! ❤️❤️

OMG, The emotional roller coaster at it best.
A story you can't put down, when you start it, as it keeps getting more intense as it goes along.
Raolcan said to Amal, 'Seriously? You let some human bite your neck and see how much you like it.'
Was Raolcan okay?
I just can't wait for the next book. Have ordered it straight away. Now i have to wait.
Sarah K.L. Wilson said: "I love watching television series, short and great, no long movies. I prefer long, drawn out stories in smaller, bite-sized episodes. dragon School is my book version of the television dramas that i love."
I agree with her. I just love the story as she is doing it.
Highly recommended.

The eleventh book in Sarah K.L. Wilson’s Dragon School series, and the fangirl within is still going strong. In fact, the fangirl is growing stronger. With all that is happening, I’m finding myself ever more desperate to get my hands on each new release. Big things are coming, you can feel it in the air, and I cannot wait to see how everything comes together once we reach the end.

Dragon School: First Flight, book one, sucked me completely into the world – it was so much more than I’d expected, and I couldn’t wait to get more. Dragon School: Initiate, book two, sucked me in even deeper – it showed me there was more to the story than I’d originally thought, ensuring I would pick up the next. Dragon School: The Dark Prince, book three, was a very important book in the series – it may not have been my favourite book, but it was vital to the overall story. Dragon School: The Ruby Isles, book four, continues to move things forward in a wonderful way – it may not be my favourite of the stories, but it is another important addition. Dragon School: Sword, book five, was another brilliant read, adding more to the series – it was also the book that reminded me why I was following the series in the first place, pulling me back in after a short hiatus. Dragon School: Dusk Covenant, book six, added plenty of new twists – more than enough to ensure I remained ensnared with the story. Dragon School: First Message, book seven, brought even more to the table – more was added to the storyline, plenty of things leaving me curious as to what would come next. Dragon School: Warring Promises, book eight, left on a serious cliff-hanger – all the books leave on a cliff-hanger, but this was probably the biggest of them all. Dragon School: Prince of Dragons, book nine, was probably my least favourite of the series, but it continued to move things forward for us. Dragon School: Dark Night, book ten, was one of my favourites in the series, increasing the level of intensity and leaving us with so many expectations.

Dragon School: Bright Hopes is another great read, although it is not as intense in regards to the action and events. What is intense, though, is the information revealed. Honestly, there has been so many possibilities opened up through this one. There are so many things I’m desperate to see play out, so many details I want to find out more about.

As ever, Dragon School: Bright Hopes was a quick read filled with so many elements to keep you hooked throughout – action and drama, secrets and reveals, and a continuation of the wonderful dragon world we’ve come to enjoy so much.

There is no doubt in my mind that Dragon School: Bright Hopes was my favourite when it comes to interesting reveals, when it comes to information that will have an impact upon the future books. I really am excited to see where everything takes us, and I know things are only going to get better.

There’s no doubt in my mind that we’re at a turning point in the series.

It took me far too long to finish the ARC I got for this book (real life kind of got in the way) and that's simply my loss... After the huge cliffhanger we got at the end of the last book, this book dealt with the consequences of that. It wasn't as action packed as the last one (although the battle there was, was thrilling).
We got a bit more world building and more continuation of things we learned in the previous books. And we got Amel making an amazing and brave decision that makes me love her only more.

A hopeful read!

Only Amel knows the truth...

My word! That discovery and that sacrifice. Hit me right in the feels. Like I was goddamn soccer-punched right in my feels. Wow.

The book packed a punch and then some. But what a fantastic read that blew my expectations. Got me real excited for more books in this series.

Full of dragons, dragon riders, secrets, ancient prophecies, enemies, loyalty, battle, darkness, truth and hope.

Perfect for readers of fantasy romance.

Reread: Audiobook

Loved listening to the narrator bringing these characters to life. Very enjoyable and hopeful.

Amel knows what she saw, but will anyone believe her? Book eleven starts off leaving us wondering if Amel will pull through her fatal wounds. As the story progresses the action returns in force. I think this one was a tough one for Amel. She has to fight through her negative emotions quite often and is not always successful. Having hope is the most important theme of this story. As always, if you love your fantasy with adventure, humor and a strong sense of right vs wrong then I recommend the Dragon School series to you!

Dragon School: Bright Hopes is the eleventh book in the Dragon School series.

I read this book on Kindle Unlimited.

I was so excited to get an ARC for this book, especially after the horrible cliffhanger at the end of the last book that was just downright mean. This book continues exactly where the last book stopped. But where the previous book was very action packed, even that action packed that it was hard to keep up with, this book is more political.

That doesn't mean I loved it any less. Maybe I loved it even more, it's hard to say. I always think that at some point I probably will get bored with this story, but it seems that it doesn't happen. Not yet at least.

It's clear that we're slowly reaching the end of the series, but still we discover new places and new mythology. I like that in this part the language of cards was explained more, although I already got most of it in the previous books, and I liked the political situation that we are presented.

The ending of this book isn't half as bad as the ending of the previous book was, which is a good thing but I still can't wait to discover how it continues! I hope we'll get the next book soon!

To date Sarah K. L. Wilson’s Dragon School series has been a wild and wonderful trip and that trip most certainly continues full speed with the fantastic Bright Hopes, it’s eleventh book. Frankly it’s astounding that the wonder of this series can be maintained over the course of so many books but somehow the author manages to not just do it but do so in grand style. So come along and join Amelia this adventurous (well written) ride. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises - the book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, it is easy to highly recommend, with the caveat that newcomers are best starting with the frankly great book 1 in this addictive series. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in the series.

For less than the price of a fancy coffee...

I can have a few hours in another world. I've been sucked into these little stories, and I love them! I saw the reviews where people are complaining about the price versus the length of the story, but honestly, it's worth it to me. My favorite thing is the consistency of the characters. I also appreciate the way the author let's us acknowledge Amel's disability without making us dwell on it. I don't sit here feeling sorry for, or pitying her. Instead, I wonder how she will adapt to get through her current situation.
I am always excited to see when the next installment pops up on my Kindle.

This book leaves off on a major cliffhanger where you don’t know what will happen when Amel is gravely injured. The conflict for me was a bit confusing, so I just rolled with it instead of re-reading it, and didn’t miss anything. Some of the urgency doesn’t match with the situation, so I wish that had been corrected, but that’s getting technical. The main plot develops in ways I didn’t think possible, making it unique. Overall, it did keep me interested throughout the story and want to continue to see where this will end up, though there were definitely things I wish had been changed/corrected.

Been keeping my eye out for this book after the end of book 10 was a shocker. We start right back up where we were left off and jump right back into the thick of the story. My heart was pounding reading the first few chapters of this book. There was an interesting development that I hadn't thought of, however a scene in the last book now makes sense to me.
I really do love this series, I haven't got bored with any part of it so far and am always looking forward to the next book. I think the author is doing an amazing job with the story and I'm looking forward to reading the next one.

This is the eleventh book in the Dragon School serials and boy let me tell you.....after the ending of Dark Night the tenth book I had no clue what to expect from this book. Yes it picks up right where we left off right back into the thick of things. There were several interesting developments that kept me on the edge of my seat. If you want a series that is done in pretty much one hour reading segments this series is perfect for you, and I gotta say you must read them all! I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Brilliant book, brilliant series

This book is the eleventh book in the Dragon School Series. A new short book is released about every three weeks. I highly recommend you read all these books in order. Bright hopes is an intense, action packed story that will keep you hooked until the very last page and desperate for the next book. Amazing characters, wonderful dragons, action, danger, hope and humour all packed into this book and into every book in this series. I cannot recommend this book, and series, highly enough .. five stars does not do it justice.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I love this series, and this book just shows how much Amel values the friendships she's formed in this story thus far. Potential danger is on the rise for those she loves, and she must decide whether her improved health is worth more than her friend's life and happiness. I'd recommend this book and series to fans of YA fantasy and dragons...I just can't wait to read the next book!

Really? Really?

After all she'd accomplished, Hubric still doesn't trust her word about things? Look what happened?

I'm also still very irked about this Chosen One status with Savette. I didn't like her then, I still don't like her now. Everything that is her role in this adventure is because of her powers as a speshul snowflake - her powers.

But Amel's actions and deeds on the other hand... Dafuq these Lightbringers.

The best of Dragons

I love following this series. This book had my heart beating so fast from exciting action it took me awhile to calm it down. It was very emotional, but I loved every minute of it. I wasn't sure Amel and Raolcan were going to get out of this one! Trouble seems to follow them everywhere they go. You don't want to miss this installment of the story. It's fantastic!

Another great book. As always fast paced and action packed! I took a while to read this, and I don't really have nuch to say. I really am still loving the respectful potrayal of disability. As well, as how the dragons are shown to be their own being and intelligent creatures. Truly, Amel and Raolcan's bond is something to love. Wish I could have a bond like thar with a dragon!

I look forward to see what happens next now that Leng has arrived with the calvary.

So this series of books just keeps getting better and better with each book. Amel is gravelly injured in this book. It is really hard to describe this book without giving away plot points. Okay so I don't want to give anything away I am just going to say you need to read this book and keep reading this series. It is fun to read this 1 hour books and get excited for the next one to come out.

Bright hopes indeed

I was just getting into this episode and the cliffhanger came. Aagghh I want to know what’s going to happen next. This series is so enthralling, sit on the edge of your seat exciting, I’m in heaven. I totally love this series and find Amel and her dragon the best. High.y recommend.

I enjoyed this excerpt except for the shortness and the usual cliffhanger ending. I understand the author’s rationale for this writing style and did appreciate her commenting on it; it just isn’t a good fit for my preferred reading material. I remain grateful for KU as it allows me to follow what would be a ridiculously expensive story.

Amel is hurt and fighting to stay awake. Savette and Roalcan hurt also. There is so much going on, but it is different than the action from the last book. I don't want to spoil anything but I can't wait for more!

Another great story in the series!

What a ride, I'm so glad this one ended on a high exhilarating emotion after such an emotional rollercoaster ride. Living the quiet scenes as much as the action ones. The depth of the characters is amazing.

Solid and exciting.

Sarah Wilson has made a very compelling story that I wish was one solid book. In this episode she pulls some writing tricks that yank only Heartstrings. It's dirty but it works LOL. Cannot wait to finish out the series.

The Author takes an improbable world and makes it as real as reality can get. When a reader finishes one of the Dragon Scholl stories they look out their window and become very surprised when the skies are not filled with dragons.

Author gave me a scare!

I didn’t realize that there would be so much dramatic writing in this series, but the author definitely wanted to show us how bad things could get. Excellent.
