2nd installment

First let me say I’m enjoying this series so far.

Still love Maya’s character- I’ve enjoyed seeing her grow - I felt for her when she realized she would be only one of many if she won.

Not so happy with Toric in this book he came across as but weak and ineffective as a leader - I realize that many of the leadership duties are done by others - so his hands are tied in some cases - this is supposed to keep him in check but not really feeling it.

Also I was disappointed that only days after he professed his love to Maya - he called a lady from his harem to meet his “needs” - granted he did say afterwards is felt hallow - but for me that doesn’t sit well.

Looking forward to the next in the series.

Odd start

If your a big fan of End game series. You will love this. Just hated how the story has dropped off.

These two books were not perfect, but I loved them anyway. I can't wait to read the third in the series!
