Finally identified the title of this book (thanks to a group here on Goodreads) which I read when I was little. Now I need to find a copy :).

I don't really remember this book other than that it was one of my favorites as a kid!!! Which took me a long time to figure out what the name of it was again!!! I remembered the details of the book but not the name!!! The only reason why I found the name was thanks to a list of unicorn books on here "Goodreads"!!! SO THANKS SO MUCH GOODREADS!!!
