The story of Muhammad Ali by Leslie Garrett all started with a kid named Muhammad and that someone stole his bike when he was 12 he wanted to beat up who ever it was. A man named Joe Martin said If you want to beat him you will have to learn and I will teach you. Muhammad started to get better and better at boxing every day. My favorite part of the book is when Muhammad knocked out his mothers front teeth when he was a baby. I liked it because it was funny, and it showed that Muhammad has always been strong. I think Leslie Garrett wrote this book to show people how good of a person Muhammad was. Muhammad Ali’s was a great one and you have to read it to see how good it is.

A way that I connected with the book was when Muhammad got mad when somebody stole his bicycle and wanted to beat him up. I learned now matter how old you are you can always change. I would recommend this book to people who like biographies and like boxing. Overall this is one of the best books I have ever read.

*Short, quick read with a million facts on The Greatest.

Ali lived peacefully with his family on a 100 acre farm in Michigan. His favorite place to be is in his gym where the walls are lined with pictures of his greatest bouts.

Ali would joke with visitors that he was planning a comeback, but his fights were against poverty and injustice.

"I hope I can encourage people to show the same love and respect for each other. If so, it would be a better world."

*He was named the United Nations Messenger of Peace
