Time Wanderer

Rate this book
The Camden sisters’ quest to explain the unexplained takes a paranormal turn when a time wandering woman crosses their path. Jumping time, performing superhuman feats and staying one step ahead of an unknown enemy leads Iris and DJ Camden to believe this woman without a home or name she can remember is involved with a nefarious shadow agency, one Iris’ own father works for in this stand-alone thriller.
As each answer comes with a perilous price, Iris surmises ‘Sandra’ is preventing an alien race from coming back into power. But when the time wanderer is compromised and kills one of her new friends, it is strongly suspected she has been turned and is aiding aliens hoping to unlock an ancient construct known as Coyote X. Just who is pulling Sandra’s strings and will it cost investigators their lives to find out? Can this woman with no recall of her childhood utilize her superpowers to stop the nefarious Grey aliens from taking the planet?

I received this audiobook free in exchange for review.

The hardest part to get started in this book was simply trying to figure out how much of my sense of reality I ought to be dismissing. Having not read the first book of the series, I found it difficult to figure out how much the strange, occult, alien, time travel, esp, etc stuff that the main characters are actually used to. I also had difficulty getting a good sense of the personalities of the various team members and how they were supposed to interact and what special powers they supposedly had.

Narrator was pretty good. There were a few words that she pronounced so oddly that I couldn't tell if she had an unfamiliar accent or if she actually didn't know how to pronounce them. For the most part, she was able to make enough character voices to distinguish who was talking.

A great new story

I am a fan of Starta's work, and I did enjoy the first book of the Camden Investigations series. Book 2 is just a great. Starta has a way of spinning a tale, and it works for this type of story. I like the mix of investigatory with paranormal and aliens. The Camdens look for the unusual, and definitely find it in t his story. As always, Starta writes with his own flair and style of putting together the plot, forming a great page-turner, letting the reader hang on every word. This reader found it filled with unexpected and welcome unique twists.

This book was good,it got confusing to me,but with half alien sisters, levitating trucks and kidnappings, that will happen.Sarah Demeestere was a fine narrator.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.'

*Great Sequel!*

I loved COALESCENCE (Book One in the Camden Investigations series), so I was excited to get Book Two. Of course, I was not disappointed!
If you love ghost stories, ancient aliens, and just a good sleuth story, then you will enjoy this book (and series).

TIME WANDERER has interesting twists and turns. It has plenty of action with a splash of romance, but it also has a lot of conspiracy. It plays into my love of UFOlogy and Egyptology while adding elements of the paranormal, such as telekinesis and psychic gifts. Literally, there is something for everyone!

It was nice to revisit old characters from Book One and to see how things have progressed in their lives. The new additions to the cast not only enhanced this story but setup amazing plot lines for future books in this series. I think DJ is my favorite, I want to punch Fake Sam, and I am not sure what to think of Alexandra...

I definitely recommend this book. It is a fun read!

The first chapter blew me away and I couldn't wait to read the rest. Started reading in the afternoon and finished early in the morning. This book has everything you could want, ghost busters, time jumpers, aliens and secret government agencies. Can't wait for the next book.
