I’ve been an avid reader for years. To my husband’s dismay, I have bookshelves full of books, rooms full of books, boxes full of books. My cars have books in them. I just can’t seem to get rid of them after I read them. You just never know when you will want to read it again, right?

About two years ago, my husband gave me the dream gift, a Kindle. It was love at first sight and my first foray into the world of ebooks. To say the least, I am a technologically challenged person but when a reader, such as I, is told that you can have the book you want to read in seconds, I’m going to do whatever it takes to learn how to use it as quickly as possible.

While I still have books everywhere, I no longer take ten or twelve books with me when I go on vacation. The only thing I need is my Kindle. It never leaves my purse.

My genre of choice is romance with a paranormal twist. My authors of choice are Diana Palmer, Iris Johansen, Catherine Coulter, Jill Gregory and of course, the queen, Nora Roberts. I am also very partial to Michael Connelly, who is not a romance author but damn that man can write!

In my life prior to becoming an author, I was a Legal Assistant/Office Manager for a wonderful local estate planning attorney (no criminals that I know of). Prior to that, I also worked my way up the ladder in a large corporation, from payroll clerk to supervising nine employees in operational accounting.

When my children, Shandelle and Pilar, were small, I took a few years off to be a full-time mom and help my husband with his accounting work for his auto repair shop.

After, Michael, my husband, sold his business, he changed professions and started working for a national construction company.

Michael and I raised two beautiful, strong women so that’s who I write about. The women in my books are strong individuals that have moments of weakness and frailty to work through.

This is the second book in the Spirit voices series . Meet Terry Anderson and Rainy Stratton . Two very different people but find a love that will help them when evil comes out to play . They meet at a wedding of their best friends and have a pull towards each other. When Terry moves into his new house there is something evil in that house . Which will take Rainy and the rest of the family to the edge and back . Will they survive and will their love will bring them through. This is more of a ghost story then the first book .
The characters are well written and complex. I absolutely adore Rainy she is the calm in the storm . She is a coven leader and a wiccan high priestess . She exudes calm and serenity . But don't make her angry cause she will kick some butt. She is loyal and will help anyone out . You would really want her as your best friend . Terry is hmmmmm what can we say about our boy . He is an artist and a very lovable guy . He is also kind of insecure when it comes to Rainy . He does really come into his own battling the evil that is haunting him . There are moments when you want to wrap him up in a blanket and hug him tight . I truly loved these two they are so sweet together and you just can't help but wanting the best for them . The characters from book one also make an appearance .
I sat down and starting reading this book and before I knew it I was done . I got sucked in from the very first page . The author takes us on a journey through the unknown. There are twists and turns that will keep you reading . This is more of a ghost story then the first book . The evil figure is truly evil and you see them battle it . It does get a little scary at times . I really like this authors writing , it is straightforward and concise and weaves such a fun story to read . This story is fast paced and very entertaining . You will fall in love with the characters all of them . So if you want a great read for by the pool this summer check out the SPIRIT VOICES SERIES you will not be disappointed .

Sandy Wolters second installment in the Spirit Series doesn't disappoint. Picking up with Terry's story, characters from the first book continue to grow and pull you into their lives.

Terry's story started ages ago, when he first saw the house of his dreams. He didn't realize it was going to be the house where his darkest nightmares would be brought to fruition. Ms. Wolters, builds the suspense with her magical story telling. Weaving a new romance while letting the reader know that family is so important in troubling times.

I had to laugh toward the end of the book, when one scene reminded me of my own life story. I didn't expect to see 'that' happen to anyone else! Masterful writing and suspense filled story telling make this installment of the Spirit Series just as spell binding as the first.

This book is probably the best book I've read so far this year!

Terry has finally been able to purchase the house of his dreams. What's suppose to be a happy occasion for the new homeowner however, is quickly turning out to be a nightmare.

Rainy is sure that Terry is the one meant for her. However, she knows he's a bit hesitant with her title of High Priestess in her Wiccan Coven. Although she's always been able to use her "sixth" sense to give her some insight into people she can't read Terry. But she's ready to give her heart to him anyways.

When things continue to get out of control Terry can no longer hide the problems happening at his home from Terry. She's probably one of the few people who can help rid him of the problem and the connections needed to ensure it stays away.

I think this is the fastest I've read a book EVER!
This book kept me interested from page 1 and I couldn't seem to stop reading even if I wanted to.

Terry buys the house of his dreams and suddenly his whole demeanor changes-a demon is unleashed when he moves in, becoming a threat to all who enter and to those Terry cares about. The lovable cast of characters come to together to help over come this malevolent spirit, risking their own lives. A fantastic read in which the reader is immersed in the spiritual world, Jared and Jody's handfasting ceremony, Iris' last rites and the spirit cleansing ritual were expertly described. A fast paced thriller that you won't want to put down.

Terry is finally able to buy the house that he has always wanted but in doing so he accidentally unleashed the evil to end all evil. Rainy is there to help him face this evil. Together they have to fight and stay together.

I really enjoyed this ghost story. It was full of surprise, intrigue, action, romance, and wonderful characters. I hope there will be more to the series!!!

"Not All Spirits Are Angels"

In this well-written fantasy thriller, Terry Anderson has finally become successful as an artist and buys a home he's always liked since childhood. He doesn't know that when he moves in that a sinister evil spirit will be unleashed and will impact his loved ones. Rainy Stratton, High Priestess of her Wiccan Coven, joins Terry to face a battle of good versus evil. This novel is fast-moving, exciting, and will sweep readers into the realm of the spirit world. Lock your doors and windows to insure no spirits will be looking over your shoulder as you read this intoxicating novel. Very well done, Sandy Wolters!
