One of the HOTTEST books Kylie has written. I was not ready for the hurricane of Marcus. His words had me squirming. The detail put into the words was enough to leave you panting and blacking out. Fiction or not WAY TO GO Lex.... Marcus put his all into everything. Not knowing what else to do or how else to show his love. Words meant nothing because he was all about action. Carrying a weight so strong it brought him down along with everything else.

Trust, devotion, truths, past hurts, and denial played a major part in this storyline. You will get so tangled in the now that it would be hard to piece it with the past. Another great Happy Endings!!!!

She thought she had him all figured out. Turns out she never even had a clue. Bring on the wicked banter, darling characters and scrumptious romance. Wicked Flirt hides a powerful message within an adorable package. Being human doesn't make us weak. In the painful moments and foolish choices is where we find the most strength. Those moments shape who we are. Lexi and Marcus are learning how to face fear. If they can make it through stubborn pride, long suppressed wounds and matchmaking friends, they can survive anything. It's an uphill battle, but they'll be better for it.

What happens when you put together a wicked flirt and a man-hater?

Sparks. And lots of them.

Lexi finds herself in a predicament when she needs work. The last thing she expects is to find something more with Marcus. They talk, and at first, it's just that. But then Marcus needs a little help with a situation and from there, their worlds change.

I adored this book. Lexi and Mark in ways are opposites, but in others, they aren't. All in all, they're perfect for each other, except both have to let go of the past.

We've seen glimpses of both characters throughout the series, but Wicked Flirt allows us to get to know them both, and WOW. What a surprise! I always enjoyed Marcus's character, but I fell in love with him in this book. We were shown his true, deeper self, and it helped to understand his character.

Lexi had her demons to battle, too, and she tried hard not to let Marcus in. Oh, what fun it was to watch these two deny it at first, only to fall in love.

The story brings on laughs and a few tears. It's been a pleasure getting caught up with other characters, as they are such an important part of the plot.

And once again, we're teased and tormented with Josh and Hailey. Their book is going to be epic.

You can read this as a stand-alone and not be confused, but it's even better when you know every other character and have read their stories, too!

Let me start by saying I refuse to re-tell the story in my reviews for any book I read. It irritates me that so many reviewers do that and ruin it for others who have yet to read the book. I won't even do a brief synopsis of it because anyone can read that on the back of the book or online before purchasing the book.
I would like to thank Kylie for giving me an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book is an excellent lessons about first impressions not always being right and that it pays to take time to get to know a person. This book is filled with romance, hot alpha males, and real human emotions. Kylie dealt with the issue of agoraphobia with compassion and emotion without going overboard with it. I have read too many books lately that deal with real medical issues, which is fine, but talk about it throughout their books ad nauseum and rather than feeling compassion I end up wanting to throw the book across the room. The characters of Marcus and Lexi are very real and relatable.
I like the Happy Endings Book Club stories and look forward to reading more of Kylie's books. If you haven't read any I can say for sure you are definitely missing out.

Again!

Kylie’s done it again! She pulls me in and doesn’t let go. I usually blow through her books in about a day and this one was no different.

I love coming back to this series. It’s like visiting old friends and seeing what they are up to, how they are doing, or getting in on the good gossip.

This time I got to read about Marcus and Lexi. Marcus is one of the honorary Campbell brothers who owns a bar in New York City. He is the flirty charming guy about town. The guy who always has a lady or three on his arm. Lexi is one of the ladies from the Happy Endings Book Club I have come to love and adore. She has recently fallen on hard times after losing her event planning job in New York City.

From the word go Lexi is attracted to Marcus. What’s not to like? He’s built, has charm for miles, and has his life in order. The only thing is the flirting. This a big red flag for Lexi since she has seen every man in her life, her husband included, cheat on the women they “love”.

Feelings aside, Lexi can’t resist the deal that Marcus presents to her. She plays his fake girlfriend to his mom, who has also fallen on hard times, in exchange for her throwing an event at his bar. This could be the thing that helps her launch her business.

As they spend more time together and really to know one another things change. It’s the kind of journey that has pulls at your heart strings and fanning yourself from all that heat and chemistry coming off the pages.

Fun read that will have you wanting to see what happens next.

Lexi is a lucky girl. Marcus is an absolute God! (He should teach other guys how to take her girls there!!!😉) But Lexy wouldn’t fall for him that easy. He is known for being with 3 girls at a time. He is hot, sure, but she knows better than to fall for a potential cheater. She despises this type of man and she’d been close to enough of them to know what suffering they bring. Marcus is a notorious flirt. He can’t help but be nice and call every woman his sweetheart. The ladies fly around him as bees. But he has fallen in love once and had been terribly hurt. So, although tired already of this shallow life, he also knows better than giving his heart to someone again. Specially one who seems to hate all men, him in particular. I promise that you, as any other girl, for sure will fall in love with Marcus and will cheer for Lexy to learn to trust again. A beautiful love journey to find love and trust after being hurt in the past. But as in all of Kylie’s book, will enjoy a lot of fun and great steamy moments with those two.... But, if you also can’t wait for their friends Josh and Hailey finally get together: there’s an important scene happening here that might change everything and it will only make sense shortly... This is a stand alone book, but you won’t resist reading the whole Happy Endings Book Club series!!!! And it will be so worth it!! 👍😉

Wicked Flirt is another amazing story written by Kylie Gilmore, the ninth book in her Happy Endings Book Club series. Lexi Judson decides to work for herself after the event company she worked for closed. Starting off a new company is not easy to do and you go after any type of job, no matter who you approach. Lexi is surprised that Marcus Shepard, a known player, is willing to hire her to plan an event at his bar. She is not so surprised when he has his own request and needs her to pretend to be his girlfriend. However, Marcus turns the table and changes the rules deciding to romance her. Lexi is unsure how to handle the powerhouse Marcus becomes in pursuing her. Unsure that Marcus is really interested in her; Lexi is unsure how to respond. Is it possible for this hot, sexy, alpha male, with a caring heart to fall for Lexi so quickly and really love her?

Ms. Gilmore is a wonderful story teller and wrote a wonderful, sexy, passionate, and sexy story for Lexi and Marcus. Her characters are relatable, her writing witty and sometimes downright comical. Ms. Gilmore's books grab me, draw me in and not let go until I turn the last page, and leaving, me wanting more. I totally enjoyed reading this book and highly recommend this book to other readers.

Oh my gosh! Kylie Gilmore knocks another one out of the park with this 9th book in the Happy Endings Book Club series. This book will tug at your heartstrings and have you swooning over the love that developes between Lexi and Marcus. After all they've endured, these two deserve their own happy ending!

Lexi and Marcus have both suffered bad relationships and parental issues that have left them emotionally fragile and even damaged. But when Lexi finds herself suddenly unemployed she will go to the one man she barely tolerates; muscle bound, heart throb, and renowned wicked flirt, Marcus Shepard. Lexi can barely handle being in the man's presence without swooning, and considering the amount of people that are warning her off him with horrible stories of how he treats women she doesn't know if she can trust him or her heart.

Marcus has had enough of women lying and hurting him and he isn't sure he can ever trust a woman again. His marriage failed and he feels like he's failed his mother. Yet, when he hires the incredibly sweet-hearted, adorable Lexi to put on a Mardi Gras event at his bar he finds himself changing in all the right ways so he can be a man worthy of her. But, will it be enough? Will he ever be enough?

5 Non-Man-Hater Stars!

HUGE Kylie fan right here. I'm one of those "lifers" when it comes to her books; I will forever read whatever she writes. She has the perfect balance of smoking HOT, quirky, funny, dramatic. Jump in any series at any book and you'll be immersed in one of Kylie's small towns you'll want to move to and be best friends with every single character.

In this Happy Endings Book Club success story, I loved the dynamic between Lexi and Marcus. They each had preconceived notions of the other, and I thoroughly enjoyed as they discovered they may have been mistaken about the other.

I'm also a sucker for stpries where the guy is not a player, not a wild stallion never gonna be tamed. Marcus wasn't opposed to finding love, and the fact that he was so open to the idea paved the way for some...shall we say, interesting wacky situations he put himself and Lexi into.

Most importantly, Hailey and Josh's story is coming next! I've been teased with their frenemy, tension-building interactions for nine books now, and I CANNOT WAIT to read their book. IT'S GOING TO BE EPIC!!!

Poor Marcus. I just wanted to give him a big hug through the whole book. I knew from the previous stories that he dated a lot but that the rumors about him were out of proportion. Still, I didn't know why he had done certain things. That question drives a lot of the tension in the book, and I was glad to have all of that settled. Marcus is a real sweetheart who is doing the best he can. I liked that he was trying to be open with his feelings.
I really like Lexi, too. She doesn't trust men not to cheat, but she can't help being drawn to Marcus. She has heard all the rumors, but she also sees that Marcus has some terrific qualities, especially the way he cares for his mother. I like that she was so honest with the people around her and talked to Marcus when she wanted to know something instead of just stewing over it.
As always in the series, Hailey and Josh get their share of attention. Hailey actually (spoiler deleted)! I cannot wait for their book, and it will be next. And we get glimpses of previous couples -- always fun. I do love this group of characters!

In Lexi's experience, men cheat. It is how they are wired. Her Father, Her Brother, her ex. They all cheat and break the hearts of those that love them.
Marcus is known as a womanizer, even dating multiple women at once if rumors can be believed. he sees Lexi as a Man Hater.

Lexi steers clear of Marcus, until one day, after losing her job at an event planning company, Marcus offers her a job as his fake girlfriend. Hoping it will entice his home bound mother to open up and finally leave her house. During this charade, Marcus and Lexi begin learning the truth about each other. Can they see past the rumors and suppositions?

Once more Kylie brings us a great love story. One of my favorite things about Ms. Gilmore's works is that all the characters have their own story, yet they all intertwine. I definitely recommend this book as well as all others on Ms. Gilmore's back list.

The Happy Endings Book Club strikes again, and this time it’s Marcus and Lexi’s turn to ride the roller coaster of love off into the sunset but true love has plenty of ups and downs. Lexi has always been physically attracted to Marcus but his reputation as a player is a major turn off because she’s been there and done that before. And Marcus has had enough of playing already, he just wants someone to love him for who he is. It’s only when they make a deal that’s advantageous to both of them that their preconceived notions become a thing of the past. And while it’s true that we all have scars from bad experiences that have hurt us in the past, these two characters will have to open their hearts to find the courage to love again. I read an early copy of this book and all opinions expressed in my voluntary review are completely my own.

I loved this book. Probably about my favorite in this series. Marcus had been hurt and gotten a reputation as a player. But really he just wants to find love like the rest of his friends have. He's successful but lonely with a mother who's got him worried. Lexi had just lost her job and is trying to start up her own business. Like Marcus, she's been hurt and doesn't trust men. But she's also desperate. She's got to finda job and soon. So when Marcus offers her a job if she pretends for his mother's benefit to be his girlfriend, she jumps at the chance. However not everything goes as planned. She starts seeing a different, thoughtful and sweet side of Marcus. Marcus realizes that maybe Lexi isn't the man hater he thought. But can these two learn to trust and love again?

What a complicated story! Marcus is after Lexi & wants her at all costs. Lexi has lost her job & asks for Marcus’s help. He agrees but has conditions. Marcus & Lexi are great characters. They have depth, fears & passion. The chemistry between them is intense. Once things seem to be working out, something happened & Marcus pulled back. Can they work past it? Can they both overcome their pasts & their fears to find a way to be together?

The interactions in this story between Lexi, Marcus & his mother are wonderful. Marcus tries to push Lexi beyond her boundaries in many ways in their relationship. He doesn’t appreciate her doing the same in his relationship with his mother. I loved their interactions & the path that they faced. Great story!

Wow what a great book Wicked Flirt by Kylie Gilmore. This was a fun and exciting story with some really sexy characters who have an incredible chemistry and passion. This was a story that could make you laugh and bring tears to your eyes at the same time. A story of two people who have a bit of trust issues. When Lexi and Marcus meet for the first time they don’t exactly hit it off, she thinks he is a man whore and he thinks she is a manhater. But soon they are unable to ignore their attraction and that is where the real fun begans. A well written story and another great addition to an already fabulous series. A must read and a book you can’t put down till the very end. I absolutely recommend this great book. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Wicked Flirt is another amazing book in Kylie Gilmore's Happy Endings Book Club Series. Lexi one of the last single women in the Happy Endings Book Club and starting a events planning company strikes a deal with Marcus a big flirt and a bar owner in NY to pretend to be his girlfriend for his mom to help her with her agoraphobia since she had some experience with it. In turn Marcus will hire her for an event at his bar. Oh no, Marcus mom hates Lexi and tells him to break up with Lexi. Lexi has been warned about Marcus that he is a serial flirt and to stay away from him. Now what? You will love reading about sexual tension and conflicts between Lexi and Marcus in Wicked Flirt. I highly recommend reading it. I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

Wicked Flirt is another fantastic book in this series!! Lexi and Marcus both have been cheated on and have a huge trust issue for the opposite sex!! With Marcus known as a player, Lexi will not even look at him, even though she is very attracted to him!! With Lexi out of work and trying to get event planning jobs, she approaches Marcus for a job planning an event for his bar!! When Marcus make a deal with Lexi to include a fake relationship, can these two keep it professional or will they be able to drop their walls and let love seep in??? Can not get enough of this series!! Definitely a one click buy!! Can't wait for Hailey and Josh's love story next!! Sad that this will be the conclusion to this great series!! Happy when everyone gets their HEA!!!

I give Wicked Flirt by Kylie Gilmore 5 starts. This is book 9 of the Happy Ending Book Club series. This book is very well written and like all of Kylie's book it will have you laughing out loud and falling in love with the characters immediately. This book will suck you in and make you not want to put it down.

Lexi Judson, an event planner, who suddenly finds herself unemployed. Lexi decides this is a sign to finally take a leap of faith and open her own event planning business. Lexi is desperate for work so she must suck it up and approach the last man on earth she would ever do business with, Marcus Shepard.

Marcus Shepard a well-known play boy and a bar owner in the city finds himself asking the man hater Lexi Judson to help him with something and in return he promises to give her a chance at planning an event at his bar.

Can Lexi handle being around the sexy Marcus or will the rules change between them? You must read this book to find out what happens!

Lexi is out of work and looking to start up her own business as and event planner. Marcus is a charmer and is always flirting with everyone. Everyone but Lexi that is. But she needs a job and offers her services to Marcus to plan an event for his bar. He takes her up on the offer and is surprised at how much he actually likes her. Lexi has a hard time trusting men in general and Marcus is such a flirt that she doesn’t know if he means what he says or if it is just what he says to every woman. Soon enough he finds a way to break through and they both realize that they adore each other. Another great story!

Wicked flirt is the 9th book in this series. And it is just amazing that this is the 9th book. It feels just as amazing as the first one. I can’t wait to see what Kylie has in store for book 10.

Lexi is starting out on a new career path when she makes a deal with the Notorious flirt Marcus one of the band of Campbell brothers.

Will work just be work or will there be more between Lexi and Marcus as they navigate this path of trust and not let how people in the path have treated them weigh down further decisions.

This story was amazing! Marcus, the flirt, always a new woman around, rescues Lexi from the spitting uncle! Follow their story as they navigate feeling's they didn't expect to feel, as well as outside interference's! Can they trust on another? Both have had their issues, can they help each other through them or will they tear them apart!
5 stars, Kylie never disappoints in this series, I absolutely loved this one! Grab it asap!

I absolutely adored this book!
Marcus and Lexi’s story was hot right from the beginning.
They both had hangups from their past, but found comfort in each other.
Marcus was not what Lexi had thought of him, and Lexi wasn’t what’s matcis had pictures either.
He was all male, muscular, protective, flirty... Lexi didn’t stand a chance.
Lexi was warm, sweet, and caring... Marcus couldn’t resist.
God, this was fantastic.
I can’t wait for the next instalment!!

Marcus has a hidden heart-of-gold! He was hurt terribly, lost himself in a tailspin, and now only wants to find his own happiness. He is plagued by gossip from women who wanted more from him even after they agreed to no commitment. Lexi was hurt as well and understands Marcus' pain, but she is quick to judge him from the gossip. Holy moly that was AWESOME! Seriously did not want to put this one down. Marcus & Lexi's story was all that and more. Similar pasts with cheating, misconceptions from both sides initially, but that made their chemistry that much more intriguing. Marcus was a Wicked Flirt, but learned how to tone it down for the right woman. LOVED IT! Cannot wait for Hailey & Josh's story next...

It’s sweet and heartwarming story. It captured my heart from the beginning and has all the FEELS. I love Lexi and Marcus’ story and fell more in love with them as I read it. I enjoyed the sexy banter and sizzling chemistry. I love reading more about some of our favorite characters from past books. It’s entertaining and great addition to the series. A definitely must read!
