Ace and Vincent spent day and night in the challenges; growing stronger at a breakneck speed. Through their crazy training, and lucky encounters, they have grown so strong that they stand above all others. The world watches their every move, and their actions shake the world.
Through Ace's desire to help others grow stronger so that they may protect themselves, Northrock city was born. Northrock is famed for its numerous experts, and as a result, users from all over the world travel to live there. It is widely regarded as the safest place on Earth.
Two years have passed since the arrival of the tattoo, and after the numerous dungeons were wiped out, the world has grown peaceful once again. The future looks optimistic, and the possibilities are endless...
However... unbeknownst to the world, a powerful user has arrived from afar, threatening to destroy everything.
This novel is Volume 2 of the Desire: A LitRPG Adventure series.
This is second in a system apocalypse LitRPG. You'll want to read in order.
Have I mentioned that I don't like bad-guy PoV? This book starts with a long string of bad guy PoV. I gave up on getting to the people I liked in the first. I figure the pattern is set and the author is obviously more enamored with the villains than the heroes for some reason. Which means they'll likely do lots of damage and be all destroying and stuff. No thanks.
This book involves the world fighting for their survival from an outside force. The Orc that was summoned to the world. The strongest users in the world have to come together to fight this battle including Ace and Vincent. There is also treachery from another earth user to deal with. I think the magic system is awesome. There is so much there and almost anything is possible. The characters are written somewhat simple without much depth, hence the 3.5 stars.I would rate the magic system at 5 stars and the characters at 2 stars. Overall it was enjoyable.
I liked this one, but I just realized there weren't much in the way of stats in this one. As far as the characters go anyway, There was brief mentions of rough approximations of stats, but that was about it. No cool new skills, though there was a few bought from the store, but nothing earned via training until near the end of the book, and even those were really only incidental skills they eventually would have gotten anyway. It wasn't a disappointing book, but it certainly could have been better. I did like it though, and I will read more in the series as I find them, since there were some unfinished plotlines in this one that I'd like to see how they pan out, if done right, it should prove interesting for everyone involved.
unpolished writing, but perfect litrpg story Milan understands litrpg progression and self-improvement better than most authors. litrpg elements. 5 stars dialogues are sub-par. 2 stars story is great, but not perfect. 4 stars audiobook narration is sub-par. 2 stars length is too short. 3 stars entertaining. 5 stars
conclusion: author is inexperienced but has a superior understanding of his chosen genre. His product has poor to average quality, but achieves an entertainment value far beyond the norm in litrpg.
Great book will look out for more in the series really likes how they use the idea of different worlds and travel and I'm really wanting to learn more about the series especially the origin of the tattoos
Story, DESPITE feeling a bit juvenile (better than book 1 though) would have given it 4 stars. The narrator though was... So bad. Normal chatting he could handle (enough of the time at any rate), but then came the laughing parts (shivers remembering how BAD that sounded). Just no.
Picks right up where book 1 ended (as in the first chapter in this book is 50-something) in the story of Ace and Vincent. I'm not as enamored - but it was still good enough to proceed immediately into book 3 and finish that up too.
This series is developing nicely and looking promising. It was a little bit shorter but awesome nevertheless! I could also be feeling that way because I enjoyed the book too. I'm definitely impressed and looking forward to the next book!
Building on the foundation of the first book this entry deepened the story immensely. The trials and hurdles of the hero’s, the losses, the drive of the villain, and the standard of the hero. A wonderful tail and another amazing story.
I loved this book I am happy with the plot i love the charters. You have a good speed to action and I like the way you explained the powers people and growth of your wolrd. Thanks for your time and your passion.looking forward to next book
