One More Night
When my sister passed away I adopted her daughter, Dolly, and raised her as my own. We were all we had left in this world and I was going to try my hardest to make sure she never wanted for anything. That’s why I needed someone I trusted to watch over the most important person in my life. Being a businessman meant I was out of the house a good portion of the day, a necessary evil to provide for Dolly. I liked it but it was really short. The writing is good and it has that insta-love and j/p hero that I like in my stories. I was glad to see that the heroine was mature and I always think it's cute when a kid is involved. For me, it just needed to be longer and have more to the story, but if you want something quick, this is perfect.

Didn't enjoy it as much my second time around. Still was a cute single dad read, just didn't spark with me as much this time around. It's insta love single dad and nanny and it ends with a HEA!

This short novella story has about everything that you could want- innocent nanny-heroine, alpha hunk single dad/uncle, cute child and sweet romance with that insta-love magic. I loved the chemistry between Jacob and Emma for their love was meant to be. This is one book that will get you with the FEELS. Hot, sexy, sweet and emotional…this is another winner story by Jenika Snow!!!

Emma loves being a nanny, but when she's kept go after three months, she's heartbroken at saying good-bye to the little girl she adores. Holy insta!
Now, I'm all for the insta... I love it. ARR got me spoiled by it, and I love those hot alpha guys that get posessive and aggressive and the dirty mouths? Sign me up!
This one, however.... was a bit too cringy for me. I don't know why, it was just a bit too much.
Jacob adopted his sister's daughter after she passed away and raised him as his own.... so why when explained, did Emma keep calling her the girl he adopted or his sisters kid, or whatever.... she's his kid, and has been since she was 2. You don't have to keep explaining it.
Also with the explaining... Jacob explained a dozen times per chapter how Emma was his and how crazy it was but that he did care. And for some reason, and I hate that it was so....because the cover of this is so hot.... but his dirty mouth did not work for me. Not even a little bit.
Dolly though, she was cute... I love single parent romances, and it's always a plus when there's a hot dad. dunno why this one just didn't work for me.

There is confusion over what colour Emma's eyes are though... she is green eyed in her job description and at the end of the book she is blue eyed... Only a little observation but still.

Great story outline. I can’t wait to read the book...
Yeah. I was so looking forward to this book but there’s nothing there, basically just an outline of the story and characters. I don’t mind insta-love, especially when it’s declared by some hot, alpha dude caveman-style, and I don’t mind short stories but, at least let there BE a story. There’s basically three chapters and two epilogues. They meet, we see how cute they both are with Dolly (the little girl), they have sex, he declares she’s his (as the sheets are cooling - no extra chapters), and... 2 years later, then nine months later. The end. The only redeeming factor is that, what IS there is good. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not hating on Jenika Snow. She writes hot, sexy stories. This one was just not up to par. Disappointed.

I've always been a huge fan of Jenika Snow and her stories and 'till this day that hasn't changed at all :)
This short story has everything you want in a good, steamy, with some truly felt emotion into the story as well as great characters that make the story flow into a good place and make reading this worthwhile :)
I liked Emma and Jacob's story and their bond with Jacob's niece, Dolly, who he adopted when his sister died 5 years ago. Dolly was only 2 years old when she lost her mother but she sees Jacob as her dad and I loved the bond they shared, it was beautiful <3
He tries to do the best he can raising Dolly but between building his business and meetings, he just seems busy all the time, and he sees that Dolly needs a permanent figure in her life, not all the strings of nannies that have passed through her life, he decides to do something about it... bet he never imagined that at 42 years old, he would find his soulmate just by looking through nanny resumes.
Emma is 24 years old so yeah, he's older than her by 18 years but when it's meant to be, age doesn't count at all. Emma is mature at her young age and she loves being a nanny, that's why she decided to go to college and become a professional nanny. After an incident (or several in Emma's perspective point of view) in her current job (which I won't spoil for you guys...) but what I will say is that women should stick together and some men are pigs who should try to respect their marriages and the staff who work at their household... but fate had its hands on this matter, and these two met and fell for each other, alongside Dolly, who I thought was mature for being one so young (only 7 years old) and how adorable she was that she even said it to Emma, to stay forever with them... well, she definitely got her wish and much more, a family <3
I loved the epilogues, especially the last one... It was beautiful and emotional all wrapped up in a perfect happily ever after for all of them <3

Jacob ha adoptado a su sobrina como su hija después de que su hermana fallece. Pero él tiene que trabajar y después de pasar por niñeras temporales decide contratar a una permanente, que viva con ellos para que Dolly no sienta demasiados cambios en su vida. Pero cuando Jacob conoce a Emma cómo su nueva niñera sabe que pronto se convertirá en una más de la familia.
Pues la verdad os digo que la sinopsis me atrajo más de lo que ha sido la historia. Me prometía algo bueno pero ha sido un poco cutre para lo que me tiene acostumbrada esta autora. Le ha faltado esa chispa caracterista de sus libros o seré yo que no se la he encontrado vamos...
Pero vaya, que para pasar el rato vale bien. Es una historia cortita sin drama y con final feliz como siempre 😁

OK first off, this was short. There wasn't really any indication on the Amazon page that this was so short. Secondly, I have no idea how the title relates to the story. Lastly, this just seemed like a story of instalust -- dude sees girl, decides he must have her, gives her a little bit of time to settle in, then comes on really strong (she doesn't mind). Then bam, they're getting married and having a baby. There were also several errors that threw me out of the story. Considering it's so short, that's surprising to me. So while I have enjoyed some from this author before, this one was a miss for me.
