Truth & Trysts: The Innocence of the Iris

This is not your average teenage love story. This is a roller-coaster ride of a relationship involving two teens, who couldn't be more different from one another. Donna is the result of a religious and conservative family; while, Chris is an atheist, retro-hippie from a liberal family. Initially, the courtship runs smoothly. Ultimately, their different beliefs and perspectives invade their similarities. It seems impossible for them to endure as a pair, except that they both share a quest for Truth and knowledge, as well as a strong, physical attraction, which makes it difficult for them to go their separate ways. Together, amid contentiousness with one another and admiration of one another, they claw at the Truth, while referencing the worlds of literature, religion and philosophy. As they try to answer many of life's questions, will their differences tear them apart? Only time will tell.
