This was a fabulous novel.
I found the story a little odd at the start, but also incredibly hot! MILF and sons best friend in love. However, it totally works.
This book is a rollercoaster of emotions. A cancer storyline had me in tears. I think cancer is something we can all relate to on some level. Who doesn’t know somebody that’s been affected by it. The author handled it beautifully.
At the same time the heat and love between travis and Josie is earth scattering. It’s the kind of love we all dream of.

I’m not gonna lie, to start with I wasn’t sure about this book. I felt a little uncomfortable reading about a mother and her son’s best friend, but I persevered because the story held my interest. And I am so glad that I persevered because once I got to part 2 of the story it totally smashed any uncomfortable feelings I had to bits.
Josie and Travis took my heart and ran away with it. I haven’t put this down all evening because I had to finish their story. A beautiful story that made me laugh and cry. Their love for one another is all consuming. I loved it, totally and utterly loved it. This is a story that will stay with me for a long time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A heartfelt, emotional rollercoaster!!
This story, while claimed to be a forbidden romance, will tug at your heart strings. Josie and Travis make it look easy and hard all at the same time. You will go through every emotion when you read this book.

This book was amazing. Its taboo but a different type. It made me feel so many different emotions. I definitely didnt see all the twists and turns coming that happens and it had me reading faster to figure out what happened next. I definitely didnt expect what happened in the end and it gave me even more feel but it was an amazing love story.

Wow! So I wasn't 100% on board with Josie and Travis's relationship. Yes it's a little taboo. The more I read the more I fell in love with them. Travis's love for Josie poured out of his soul! I felt it along with every other emotion, while reading the book. This is such a heart felt, and heart wrenching story! They deserved more!

Omg this book was amazing from beginning to end.
Travis is truly amazing and I love him in each and every way I could love a book boyfriend. To have someone that is just jumping off the pages with that much love and adoration makes you fall even deeper for him!

Love this book it only took me a few hours to read because it was such a page Turner and kept me wanting to read it. The romance right from the start gets you excited for what's to come but it's not what you expect love heartbreak sickness and tears are what you can expect with this book! I recommend it for sure!

What an amazing book!!! This is going to be a very short review only because I don't want to risk giving anything away. I LOVED Always!! It had it all...humor, emotion...so much emotion!! I stayed up till almost 3 in the morning to finish this book, and I just can't find the words, my brain is just a jumble! I loved Travis....I claimed him, he's MINE!!! Josie and Travis together was just magical!! That ending though, shocking, and was so not expecting it. Y'all need to read this book, and I can not wait to see what the amazing Lindsay Becs has in store for us next!!

Not sure where to even begin! I immediatly fell in love with the characters! Josie and Travis are the epitome of what secret and forbidden love are. However the love that they shared was beautiful! I got all the feels in part one of the book. Part two comes around and that’s when it really hits you. The ugly cry! Their love moves to different levels. I have never cried like that over a book and their characters. This author did an AMAZING job using words! I will need more from this Author for sure!

This book is so beautiful and drew so many different emotions. I loved this book. But make sure you have some Kleenex because it’s that book.

THIS BOOK WAS SPECTACULAR! This is Lindsays first big release, and let me tell you, HOLY CRAP SISTER!!! I love her style so much, and I deeply appreciate an emotional book. She really knows how to take all of your emotions and tug on them deeply. I was messaging her as a I read, and I told her that her writing style reminds me of a mix of Jay McLean and Lurlene McDaniel. Those two are two of my favorite! I’ve read SO many LC books and nearly all of Jay’s. I CANNOT wait until she writes more. I devoured this book in less than three hours and i desperately need more!
Josie and Travis were such amazing characters in this book. Josie is an amazing and strong woman, she's a mother, a friend and a lover. There wasn't one thing I didn't love about her. Or really about Travis either. The chemistry these two had was OFF THE CHARTS, but there were so many factors working against them. When they finally did become a couple it was so euphoric! I couldn't wait until that moment, and Lindsay portrayed this moment so perfectly! It was one of my absolute favorite moments of the book. I had so many favorite moments in this book and it's definitely one of my favorite books this year. Each twist and turn, and every emotion was just executed so perfectly. I just can't say enough!

I loved pretty much everything about this book except for the very beginning...the part about how Travis and Josie knew each other. Honestly the age gap doesn't bother me at all, it's how it's mentioned multiple time that he saw her as a mom. The fact that he basically lived with their family for like 10 years and he saw her as more of a mom than is actual mom...that part felt kind of icky to me.
If I ignored that part, I did really enjoy the book. It was emotional and sweet and sad, but beautiful at the same time. It was well written, and the story flowed well; even the parts were time jumped forward quite a bit. Overall, a good book!

It was very OTT dramatic.
There is an age gap, the Hero is 18 and he is best friends with the heroine's son.
She is divorced.
There is push/pull due to the age gap issue and their situation.
The heroine turns him down so he gets a blow job from a girl he knows, his age group. Some detail, he is thinking of the heroine during.
Book is in 2 parts. Second part is 2 years later.
The heroine has cancer.
HEA is debatable as the heroine although initially beats the cancer, it reoccur and she dies.
He's happy as he has a part of her in the daughter she gave him.

This was a tough book for me. There were elements that I don't typically find myself enjoying- particularly the significant age gap between Travis and Josie. That being said, I did jump on board because Lindsay Becs wrote it so well, and I found that I could feel the love between them. I absolutely loved them together!
I struggled a little with the ending~ at first I didn't feel like it was how I would have wanted it to end, and I'm sure there are a lot of other who would agree with me on that. But, after thinking about it, while it wasn't a HEA, I did feel like there was closure and a conclusion- and isn't that how life is a lot of times?
I'll be reading the other books in this series, following the kids!

This book was something else. All of my emotions were pulled on while reading. Its taboo, and a different taboo than I am used to reading about, its hot and steamy, its beautiful, sweet and emotional.

A wonderfully written book about a forbidden love. Every page is an emotional rollercoaster of ups and downs. I got lost in this love story and how the characters fought to be together and to be happy. I could not put it down.

Amazing
I don't know how well to express all the emotions that I am feeling at this moment. I just went on a 4 hour rollercoaster ride of emotional extremes! This was a first time read for me with this author and I was not disappointed! Now I need to know what's next!

Highly highly recommend this book.It starts off a bit slow but oh my does it get juicy..My heart broke in a million pieces reading this..Tears of pain,tears of joy,tears of love..lots of ugly crying lol The story of travis and Josie is one that will keep you on your toes and shutting out the word for just "one" more chapter *wink*. 5 stars!!!

First I have to say for a newish writer this is one of the best written indie books I have come across. The way she tells a story is fantastic and I loved the characters. The ending was also unexpected and very emotional.
The tears I cried! So many!
The story may seem taboo but the reason I removed a star wasn’t the age difference, it was that she basically helped raised the love interest. I had a hard time connecting to this story because I kept thinking that she is sleeping with a guy that had sleepovers with her son as a child. Also the twist ending is not my cup of tea. I can handle sad twists but this was too much for me.
If you want a well written, emotional rollercoaster with some hot sexy times, read this book!

Wow just wow. This book was amazing!! It's about first loves and second chances. Travis and Josie are amazing together. They both overcome any obstacles that comes their way. I laughed and cried with this book. It was amazing!!

This is a new author to me. I wasn't sure I would like the book as I don't love books with age gap plots. The story blew me away . It took me on a journey of love , devotion and loss. Travis new the woman he was born to love. It took some convincing on his part ,for Josie to take the plunge and date him. At first Josie aggravated me , as she kept fighting her feelings for Travis . To a degree I understood why. Off to read the next book.

No one can really help who they fall in love with. Part 1 is all hot and steamy with a love that doesn’t really conform to what society would deem as normal or acceptable. Part 2 brings reality crashing through all the barriers. This book will have you going through a whole gamut of emotions as you travel along with Travis and Josie in a journey that is far from easy with an ending that will leave you shocked and a little saddened.

This story made me cringe initially due to the age difference. Despite this, I jumped in and continued to read a charming, emotional love story between Travis and Josie. The taboo of him being her son's best friend, fighting the pull, dealing with the aftermath was all masterfully written. Their love is beautiful and the ending gutted me. I grew to love these characters, as well as Josie's family. I look forward to more stories surrounding these characters. I hope there is more to come.

This was the sweetest book I've ever read. The story of Josie and Travis is so touching and sweet! I loved Travis he is so kind and loving, the perfect book boyfriend. Such a sweetheart. I loved falling into josie and travis 's life. It had so many ups and downs. An emotional rollercoaster! The ending was so sweet but broke my heart at the same time. I loved seeing their relationship develop, and it was such a different taboo kind of relationship but I loved it! This author is amazing and I cant wait to read more of these awesome works!

This book was recommended to me by a friend, and she nor the book disappointed.
This truly was an amazing read I laughed and I cried. I related to apart of the story and it Home. I was drawn it from the very beginning, and finished this book in less than 6 hours.
