A 🔥Roller Coaster

Loved it . The ups and downs. I’m honestly stuck on if I like Votto or not . Something about Jaycen & Reef tho 🥰 the messiness in the relationship and friendships was crazy . Touching story and absolutely loved it

Love Is Mental

Need You for My Sanity is a story of love, mental health, and healthy relationships. The connection of love can snap the bond of friendship. It identifies what works well for some, may not work for others. There is never really an explanation as to why mental anguish happens, why its so hard to love, why it's so hard to break the detachment. The heart is broken, but the brain links what defines what love and lust is. That organ is the very essence of the decisions we make. This story goes against the grain of how someone suffers until they the very medicine they need. It takes away from the pain and bridges the gap between the brain and the heart, no matter the circumstances. Trust plays heavy and friendship are tested. You will not be able to peel yourself away from Blaine, Enid, Jaycen, and Votto. Thier emotions become your emotions. You'll want to fight with them, you'll want to hate them, and you'll want to cry with them. But more importantly you feel how tender love can be when the brain is healthy.

Need You For My Sanity is the first book I've read from this author and it definitely won't be my last. I enjoyed the characters, the flow of the story and the storyline was one that had me hooked from the very beginning up to the very end. This story gives us four friends Enid, Blaine, Tamela and Juanita as they go deal with their family, friendships, relationships, drama, love, depression and loss. Their story definitely left me wanting more, especially since the ending for these characters wasn't an ending that left all of their stories complete in my opinion. I felt as if I got an ending for Blaine and Jaycen's story but I was left wondering if there is more to Enid and Reef. I definitely want their story because I feel as if there's more there. Then there's Blaine's sister and Jaycen's brother, which we get a little about them at the end and now I'm left wanting their story. I enjoyed this book and will be recommending it to family and friends.

Outstanding job!!

First off I must say.. this book touched my soul. I completely understood and related to most of Blaine’s character. It is so hard to explain to others (who are not going thru the same thing)what you are going through. Thank you Brandy for writing on this sensitive subject and for letting those who are struggling know that they are not alone and there is help and that they can still live normal, loving lives.
I really liked Jaycen and was happy he came into Blaine’s life. I liked Enid but she constantly frustrated me. Both her and Blaine were going through so much that they just didn’t know how to be there for each other. I could say so much more but I suck at reviews and I don’t want to ruin it.

I would love to read Shareef and Enid’s story ❤️

Beautifully written. I can honestly say every book I've read by Brandy Echols has been a wonderful read but this book was exceptional. The characters were relatable, situations realistic, & her style of writing had me completing this standalone quicker than expected. Well written subject matter. Storyline & content = title. I was hoping the best for Jaycen & Blaine. Enid dealt with some difficult situations. Good cast of characters. Memorable type of story. Highly recommended

Another banger

Man this book was the truth. You got everything in this book; love, street, and real stuff. You can never know what is going on by just looking at someone. I'm glad that Blaine was able to come too grips with what she was going thru and found a man to help her with her issues. Love can be the cure of everything. Great book Brandy!!!!!

Deep!!!!!!

Enid from the jump didn’t approve of Blaine’s relationship, she was being very judgmental. I’m glad that Blaine was able to find her voice and got the help she needed. Jaycen from the beginning had good intentions..

3.5 stars

This first read for this author was a mixture of potential and needing a little more depth to the tale. I'm not sure I cared for any of the characters. The mental illness points were slightly dealt with for the sufferers. Overall, this was 3.5 stars.

This started off great. It quickly escalated to a hot mess not long after. Blaine is such a real character and easily relatable. But the hot mess train that comes for the rest of her friends kept me from truly liking this.

Love the Love

Gotta love those true connections, those in breakable bonds. Trails may desperate you but they won't be the termination of true love/friendships.
