It Was Always You

Monroe and Nehemiah
Very much so engaging....I loved it and want more, the chemistry that mental love between Slim and Miah was so very real it lifted from each line. That scene with Miah and his father roared with such intensity you felt the hurt...
Im looking forward to reading part 2, I just hope B.Love doesnt have us holding our breath for long. Great job, your literary pen game is soaring and captivating with real emotional gripping stages of awww..stay Blessed.

Whew this book was the bomb.com okayyy. I was very interested in this book by the synopsis alone. This book exceeded my expectations, this was first book from this author and it was bomb. The chemistry in this book between the main characters is unmatched. Im normally is not a fan of the instant love Stories but this was beautifully written. Book one left on a cliff hanger so I know part two is about to be Lit!!

Nehemiah and Monroe where the perfect couple they both were there to help each other and the love was so real and inviting. Miah was a great guy would do anything to protect his mom from heartbreak include sacrificing his own happiness. Monroe was miah happy place. I liked Quentinand Fatima storyline love at first sight will tima let Q change her life..... I hope everything works out in the name of love hurry up part 2#143

Miah was such a great guy. The sacrifices he made, many would not have. His feelings toward Slim were evident in his actions. Storyline & content kept me reading and has me ready to read next part

This was a nice read. It read at a nice fast steady pace... I enjoyed the fact that things did not drag out in this storyline... All the secrets and craziness in here man...
I could not believe that Nehemiah had to deal with his father's burden for so long... He was putting everyone's happiness above his own... That was until him and Monroe (aka Slim) finally crossed paths... Something as little as Nehemiah watching out for Slim started a quick love affair... Let's just say that not everyone was happy about this... Not his dad... Not Whitney... Not even (Brian) the officer that was on the case... Man I could not believe how obsessed he was with Monroe... The things that he went out if his way to do... I was like man how does he even have time to work with the way he is riding Monroe... He is just over doing it...
This love affair with Nehemiah and Monroe moved so naturally and so quickly... I don't thing that they really had time to process much... Yet they knew that they were willing to go out if their way to protect each other... Now just when they are finally be able to be together... Brian with his crazy self does this... Man I hope that by the time that Nehemiah finds Monre that it is not to late... Because with how crazy Brian is there is no telling what he will do...
I can't wait to find out what will happen in part 2... I want to know what is really up with Brian and why did he choose Monroe...

Cool
This was very different from what I expected but it was good. The flow was there, it was just sometimes it seemed a little slow and boring, something I've never experienced with any books I've read from this author. There were also times I felt details were left out and I had to guess or assume on certain parts and areas.
Maybe would've liked a little more insight into Miah prior to the club, especially being as though he'd been watching her for months and it was said that he was in the streets, we never really saw his dealings. Also wanted to know what instrument he played, although not a big deal I kept wondering.
I also thought things were just happening out of no where, like they were afterthoughts. Ex. Tima just inserts herself into the book, midbook but she's never mentioned prior to her phone call; once she's mentioned she's always there like she's an important part of Slim's life.
With all this being said I couldn't put it down, the book drew me in from the first page with Roe in the club. I had to keep reading because I wanted to know what was happening next. I thought Miah was such a good man, there was like he could do no wrong with the exception of how he made money. I would definitely recommend this book.

Awesome!
This is a great read from beginning to end for me because when I read this story this affirmation stuck in my head. When we help, create and not judge each other, we release and encourage positive vibes in life. These two souls are emulating that for themselves and their surroundings in my opinion. The characters are where they need to be in the story. I love the protector, the dominance, the love and the care Nehemiah has and gives to Slim. I love the way Slim plays down her beauty and strength, but is still able to love, survive and function no matter what the circumstances are or maybe. I'm just glad Nehemiah is on the right path for the better and is helping Slim to see her potential and continue to better herself by continuing school. Now the drama begins which I don't mind because this shows what type of person they will evolve into at the end. Can't wait to see what's going to happen next. I can't wait for the next installment. OMG I loved every moment of this story. It's so hard to believe that B wrote this a while back and just now putting it out, but I'm too glad she decided to grace us with Nehemiah and Monroe. There story was amazing and I loved the fact that Nehemiah always had a thing for Slim but kept it hidden but released his feelings at the right time. I just hope that in part 2 they get at Brian before he could do any serious harm to Slim, because if anything was to happened to her Nehemiah will loss it. On another note I was so glad when Miah exposed his father and Whitney for they're secret but it also didn't surprise me that Janet knew at some point in time because I felt like they got to comfortable. I can't wait for part 2 great read B!!!

I hope part 2 isn't too far behind because I didn't even want to put this down. Brian was all types of crazy and that's crazier is the fact the police never linked anything before it got so out of hand. I don't like Pastor or Whitney! They were both wrong on so many levels and I wish Janet was strong enough to not accept their foolishness. Nehemiah had a good heart and was exactly what Monroe needed. He did whatever was necessary to protect her and I applauded him for that. Monroe was truly hardheaded and learned too late the consequences of not listening. I can't wait to see what's next and if Brian will get a dose of his own medicine. #143

Held me captive from beginning to the very end and what a ending. This book was so full of drama, lies and the secrets were everywhere. Man the father and he calls himself a pastor...man oh man. Loving Nehemiah and Monroe together, they're just what the other one needs, Their each others peace and calm. Between Nehemiah's controlling and manipulator father, the church and unfaithful baby mama made this book so interesting and entertaining. Then comes crazy Brian that's messing a few screws. Hopefully, Quentin and Fatima can get it together and Janet finally get fed up with the Pastor. Can't wait to see how it all unfolds in PT.2. Job well done B. Love

Slim
Poor Slim and Miah!!! They both have had some hard times in their lives. Slim has nobody but her bestie Fat and her grandma but even she ain't really dealing with her. Miah has been living a lie but its thine he live out his truth. I loved the way he is going hard for her against everyone that is against them. Iove her loyalty to him because he was loyal to her from afar. Like I am also creeped out by Brian but understand his pain and feel sorry for him. Glad Whitney got her butt whipped!!! No matter when this was written, it flowed nicely and Ms. B. Love still dropped life jewels on us!!! Great job!!!

Good heart and great character
When the chance rose to make himself known to Monroe, Nehemiah didn't waste the opportunity. He saved her from an already disastrous situation and let it be known that she was important to him, even if that was the first time they communicated. It didn't take long for Monroe to fall heads over heels for Miah. He had a good heart and great character because he sacrificed years of his life to protect a secret. Roe and Miah were willing to do anything to protect each other. I love the camaraderie between Quentin and Fatima. Looking forward to reading part two.

Love these characters
OMG! I'm so glad I waited to read this book. This is LOYALTY at it's finest! B. Love's characters are always well thought out, and she allows them to tell their own story. This places the reader exactly where they are at/in that moment. I love when I can literally feel a character's energy, and B gives me that. Hence the reason why she is my FAVORITE author. These characters are feisty, lovable, deceitful, funny, etc. They carry so emotions that you can't help but be in tuned with them. She's back with these cliffhangers too. Whew! Keep it up B. Can't wait to read part 2!

Love at first sight…
Even though this is a story from her archives, it was still a good one. Neimeiah did something that not many people would do. But sometimes the love we gave for others stops us from revealing certain aspects of our lives. Walker, Whitney & Brian need to be dealt with! They are totally out of control. Slim has been through a lot for her age but Miah, as she affectionately calls him, is good for & to her. I'm so ready for part two to see what happens with not only them but Quentin & Fatima also!

Good story!
This was a good story with so much going on. Being a pastor’s daughter, I am well aware of the shadiness that happens in the church but I couldn’t understand how Janet dealt with that foolishness. I’m one of the lucky ones to have parents with integrity but she didn’t deserve any of that. Whitney needed the Butt whooping she got from Monroe. It was the least she deserved. I like Monroe and Nehemiah together and hope they can get themselves together and live happily ever after.

I don’t typically read books where the characters fall into “insta-love”, but I love how the author wrote this book. She kind of eased the “insta-love” into the story in such a way that you are not put off by it. B. Love has some serious writing skills. I really enjoyed part 1. Nehemiah and Slim have great chemistry which I think is very important in a story. I hope we get to read about the budding relationship between Q and Fatima in part 2. Great job, B. Love.

I know this book was written years ago and your style has evolved, but i still appreciate these books from you because a great read is s great read!This book was interesting and had me reading from beginning to the end. I can't wait to see how they get to Brian because he is psycho! You are gifted with the pen and you can't come out with books fast enough! Like all the rest this was a banger and I can't wait til the next book drops!

Miah and Slim are trying to find their true love for each other. Getting to know them is exhilarating. In the mist of tragedy they continue to have each others back. B. Love has done an excellent job keeping her readers entertained as she draw them into the plot. Part two can't come soon enough. Well done. Oh Brian is the twist that's been thrown in the mix. Enjoy the ride.

Each book is better than the last!!
I love Monroe and Nehemiah! In my opinion, there love is pure and untainted. Even though they have their own outside baggage, they never let the deter them. Those some may have tried, but they didn't succeed. I love how B weaves an intricate story of romance around drama and dire circumstances. She lets you know that you are more than your past and it's up to you to forgive, let go, and move on to something better. 5 stars!

From Day 1
Loved this story. It reminds me of earlier readings from B Love. What you see is definitely not what you get with Nehemiah and Whitney. Throw Monroe into the mix and the real love story begins. When you have someone willing to risk it all for you, you know it's real. I really enjoyed this and can't wait for Part 2!

Definitely not what I usually go for but pleasantly surprised and hooked. I’m really feeling this story with Monroe and Nehemiah. Both have had their share of drama and unhappiness and both of them find their own piece of joy with each other! I like, I like a lot. I’m going to need part 2 ASAP...lol

B.LOVE is the G.O.A.T that's it that's all !!! Everything she does and touches is the truth !!! So absolutely no difference with Monroe(Slim) and Nehemiah(Miah) he was the truth and although they grew from a traumatic event they were willing to weather the storm together against all odds , ready for part 2 !!!!!

Good read as usual
Tbis was a different storyline and I absolutely loved iit. Miah and Slim was made for each other. Mr Walker wasnt worth anything. Janet could've stopped the shenanigans sooner if ahe told what she knew. I knew Brian was crazy. Ready to read more about Tima and Quentin. Good read on to part2

Her earlier work is just as good!
Nehemiah had a connection to Monroe aka Slim BEFORE they even connected, if that makes any sense. To bad they connected under those circumstances and he was dealing with what he had going on. That situation was TOTALLY CRAZY, but they managed to make the best of it. Now this. That Brian dude done lost his mind. Can't wait to get to part two.

Miah caught up in situation most couldn’t/wouldn’t understand until finally getting the woman made for him.. Monroe

Good Read
This was a really good book. Great storyline. I love how Nehemiah comes to Slim's aid in the strip club and they both start to develop feelings for each other. Brian is a real casual attraction that needs to be dealt with. I hope Slim is ok. Will Fat and Quentin start a relationship. About to start part 2.

Miah is the man. This has become my new favorite book. Miah & Slim’s connection is unbelievable. Something that everyone wants.I was like yasssss when Whitney got those paws put on her!
