Troy (Shadow) Cooper is best when left to his own devices. He lives in the shadows, stalking and surveilling his prey. And they never know he’s there… unless he has to slip in and dispatch said prey.
His latest job is not only boring but is just about over—watching a spoiled Russian princess while her father (the oligarch) is in town. But by fate, just as he’s being relieved to go on a much-earned leave, the love of his life—Milly Walsh, the one that got away—walks right back into his sights, and into the crosshairs of the Russian princess’ plans.
Will Troy figure out what’s going on, and if he can face her again, soon enough to save Milly from the princess’ deadly scheme?

This was a well written very quick read. The storyline is is fast paced and engaging. The characters you really want to get the chance to get their HEA. A nice brush up against the original series.
A great second chance love for two people separated by time and circumstances and brought back by the whim of fate. A great story with awesome characters that keep you reading to see, how is all going to end. Off to read the series.
This was an ok Novella. The characters talk to themselves...a lot! Like over half the book (silly stuff too). Not really deep reading. Read it in an hour.
