उनका संपर्क है gautam_rajrish@yahoo.co.in; mobile no. 9759479500

It may be seen as a strange combination of Hindi and English coming together to create 'a collage with hari muskurahat'. And believe me, the stories in this short story collection have been fantastic to read. I liked all the stories because they bring to the reader the experience of a lifetime. How does life for an army officer go other than standing on the border and guarding our dreams and future? Gautam has tried to capture the emotions, actions and motivations of people who are known for enduring the heart-piercing cold and body-melting heat. These short stories are written in a very friendly and matured manner and this is the reason its readership has been wide so far. I am sure readers will love this book by Gautam and mark it as a must-read as well for the readers of Hindi fiction with occasional English titles and usage!

An elegant collection of short stories that anyone will enjoy reading who reads Hindi fiction. Gautam has collected and presented the emotions of his fellow army brothers beautifully and I am sure anyone will empathise with the author very easily. All the stories are written with army men in the centre and that makes this collection more unique. Language and narrative have been the best most of the times.

I like reading short stories. Gautam has indeed done brilliant with some of the stories in the collection. However, some of the stories leave the readers without any proper conclusion and that becomes troublesome for me. As an ardent reader of Hindi stories, I liked the idea of dedicating a series completely to the armed forces. For that, I would recommend this book to everyone. You must read this collection and draw your own conclusions.

This book is really interesting and it's really good to read something from a person who has safeguarded our border with passion and dedication. Gautam Rajrishi is fond of writing and he usually writes in Hindi. The book is a collection of short stories who is aimed to show the readers how the life of a soldier goes on.
The stories talk four things in a nutshell, dedication, determination, discipline and devotion. Every story reflects one of the four things. It does not matter how tough is the situation army will be there for you it shows their courage and determination for mother India.
Saving an animal and thought of eating it but again dropping the idea shows the devotion.
Sharing the berth in train journey despite having a leg fractured shows discipline and dedication.
I am just amazed by his writing. Every story is filled with joy and an enormous amount of emotions.
It is a must-read book for everyone out there.

Gautam's book is just what a person will need in these days of self-isolation. The best thing about this book, a short story collection, is that it is written in Hindi. I liked all the stories but the ones that depict our soldier's life outside the war zones and highlight many other perspectives of their lives I liked more. I good read for anyone looking for some interesting and serious literature to pass the time they had.

It's really nice to read for me. It has covered the different moments of an army's life. From battleground to home ground it captures some strange moners in between that proved a thrilling experience for the readers.
There is a different kind of short stories are in the book but what I liked the best among those is Hero, Saillab, Birth number tin and parcel. These stories have represented different phases of the army's life in a wonderful way. These stories strike us to let us feel their conditions. Their life is not different than us but they live it differently. That's why the Indian Army use this line 'live a life less ordinary' and they really deserve it.
This is a must-read book for many like us who really want to understand their state of mind. Even when his leg was broken he was not saying a word for hs legitimate seat in the story 'birth number three' these things describes their determination and dedication towards the nation.

Mujhe is pustak me sankalit sari hi kahaniyon ko padhne me anand aya. Lekhak Sahab ne apni lekhni aur apne ka achhe se parichay karwaya hai is katha-sangrah me. Agar ap bhi Hindi sahitya ke pathak hain to apko ye sangrah bahut hi pasand ayegi. Avashya padhen. Bahadur jawanon ke shauryra gatha se leke hriday ko jhakjhor dene wale anubhavon tak ki kahani... sabse achhi ye bat lagi ki sari kahaniyan hamare vir jawanon ke ird gird hi ghumti hai.

From the fight against terrorism to fight against the ideological barriers within the country, these short stories exhibit various experiences of the country's defenders, the brave soldiers who stand on the border for us. Gautam is an army officer himself and he has written this short story collection with a first hand experience as well as various other experiences he gathered by living with his fellow officers and other means. You should read this wonderful collection and you will certainly appreciate it. Emotions in various forms are there that will connect with the readers instantly.

Gautam's stories are meaningful, vivid in themes and also wonderful to read. I enjoyed some of them very much while a few were just good. This is an ideal collection for the regular readers of Hindi fiction. Moreover, also the readers who are not regular readers of Hindi fiction can enjoy this as it forms one of the best short stories collection I have read in recent times. However, let me also suggest that some of the stories are written just on the basis of imagination in pure wilderness and constitute no serious plot or narrative. While many others are amazing and wonderfully written.

The stories in this short story collection by an army officer are amazing not only because they have army officers at the centre of the plot but also because the author has written these stories beautifully with all the maturity and decorations of an accomplished literary creator. I would recommend this book for the emotional connect that it establishes with the readers. Unmissable on different counts, the book will be an experience that you will remember!

Though this is not the first short-story collection that has made me very energetic and enchanted, Gautam's writing is indeed prolific in the times like this. He has done what not many authors can do these days. He has given his literature a purpose-code and that is to sing and celebrate the glories, simple emotions, actions and valour of our armed forces. I like the metaphor in the title itself - Hari Muskurahaton wala... The readers of contemporary Hindi fiction will certainly celebrate this collection of wonderful short stories.

This is just a wonderful collage of short stories that cover the life of our brave soldiers.
The author himself has received many gallantry awards and a passionate writer from the core of his heart.
His writing is simple and worthy. He has tried to connect the readers with the stories of Bravehearts who spent most of his life at the line of control. How is life for them when they are not here? What kind of difficult and emotions they encounter in their life is well described in the book by a smooth flow of language.
The stories are inspirational and motivational as well. On a personal note, it has taught me many things.
The stories from different walk of life make it a perfect 'Hari Muskurahton Wala Collage' that a reader must-read.

His command over the Hindi language is something really good. Apart from being an active soldier in the Indian Army he often used his leisure times to write something. This creation is the result of that dedication that he has for writing stories and what comes in his mind.
The book is a collection of short stories and the length of the book is also short despite being a collection of 21 short stories. The stories are based on emotions, courage, love, and being a saviour of the soul. The stories have kept me indulged till the last and never let me feel bored. Very rare you find such kind of creation what Gautam Rajrishi has done. It does not reveal any kind of half baked love stories rather it inspires to be like them to be like a soldier who has dedicated his life for the motherland whether he is on the line of duty or not. It allows us to travel in those part of their life that is almost unseen to everyone.
Such a nice book that you must read it.

This is just an awesome book to read. I truly admire Hindi stories because it feels like I am reading something in my own language. This is a collection of short stories by Gautam Rajshiri who tries to present the vivid colours of an army's life.
The flow of emotions to the story of the courage it covers all. It shows how army persons are in their personal life. How do they feel when they return form extreme conditions?
Every story reflects a certain kind of emotion that shows a way to the readers. It is not just a story of just a person's personal life rather it paved the way for many readers like us to learn humility and humanity form these stories.
Every story is full of morality and humanity.
I really liked this book and I would like to recommend it to everyone who really wants to read something new and knowledgable.

The central theme of the book is really interesting. Though the opinions expressed can be matched or mismatch the ideas and opinions of readers, they will certainly enjoy the writing of Gautam Rajrishi.
The concept of short stories ahs taken another leap after the publication of this. It just an impressive book by him.
It has shown some real and factual short stories that strike our mind to think on these things that have been discussed in the stories. The story of unfulfilled promise to live together forever because God loved the heor more than her fiance. It shows the pain and hurdle they have to go through that is incomparable to anything. The stories of valour and courage motivate a reader to be like them. It is simply a collage of different kinds of emotions that makes a perfect read for the readers. A truly impressive work by the author.

I have just finished this awesome book written by an army person who is still serving in the Indian army, Gautam Rajrishi. 'Hari Muskurahto wala collage' as it title suggests, is a collection of short stories from different aspects of life. When all the things come together makes a perfect collage.
The book is not so long and it will not consume much of your time. The length of the stories are ideal and the language is perfectly smooth.
The stories portrait the challenge of a soldier who is fighting on the line of control. Their life is completely different when they are not on duty. The collection has tried to capture those moments.
The stories are inspirational and challenging as well. The author has tried to capture different moods if life in one place. And each and every story in the collection is wonderful. They do teach us many lessons in life.

Hari Muskurahton Wala Collage is a collection of short stories that deals with the issue of Indian armed forces. It does not tell about battleground rather goes on to an extent and tries to let us feel the perspective of a soldier on certain things. What is love for them? How they live their lives in a dangerous situation and comes victorious all the time. How they get bored by eating the same food all day bit still the fire of patriotism is burning deep inside their bellies.
It is a story of valour, emotions, love affair and inter conflict of thoughts among the soldier. As the author himself a soldier he has penned the book with emotion and truth.
A must-have to refresh your find and go on a journey with a soldier.

A wonderful collection of short shorties by Gautam Rajrishi who served as an armed force and has done most of his duty on the lion of control. He is very good with his writings as well other than being a brave soldier. His collage allows a readers to witness some hard and bitter truth about the lives of a soldier. The different circumstances and situation make them more determined and strong.
The Chapter like 'Hero, dusari sahadat, rakshak bhakshak, girfreinds and many more represents different kinds of situations of their life. Where one talks about valour and guts other talks about emotions and love.
It is just a wonderful collection of short stories that will excite to finish it one read. The stories are griping in nature and language is simple.

I am still amazed by the content of the book. A person who has seen wars in front of his eyes how can he think so compassionately. His book has touched each and every aspect of human life and tries to capture a different kind of emotions that arises in a different walk of life.
The stories are heart touching, overwhelming with emotions, full of courage and inspiration for life. Though there are many stories in the book my favourites are 'Dusri Sahdat' and 'birth number 3' these stories touched my heart and forced me to think about their sacrifice and patience.
Kudos to the author who has written this wonderful piece of literature.

A wonderful short story collection that I read in a hurry because it has a grip over the readers that doesn't let you put down the book before you complete it. Gautam has done very well with his imagination and plot creation. The short stories are as short as 2-3 pages and also long. In each of them, central theme and characters are from army background which lets the readers easily understand that Hari Muskurahaton Wala Collage is all about our armed forces and their experiences. So, are you ready to know various shades of their green?
