Heartbroken after another sub had cheated on him, Kent "Wicked" Fields had decided to give up on finding that one sub to build a future with. He should have known fate would screw with him the first time he hooked up with a sub and not let him ignore the sweet heat that could be found in the cute little waiter. Adam "Butsy" Butts found himself once more tossed away like yesterday's garbage by the new bouncer. What he didn't understand was why. Maybe his ex was right, and Butsy was bad in bed. If only he could forget what it felt like to be held by the man of his dreams. It would be difficult, but Butsy feared it was time to face facts. He was meant to be alone. But happily ever after would be around the corner if Syn has anything to say about it. Warning: Wicked Deeds abounds when Syn becomes involved.

Traveling is one of her favorite ways of fulfilling her passion of people watching. You never know, one day you may spark her imagination for her next book.
Whether at home or traveling she is usually in front of her computer writing or curled up with a good book.
**** Two men, each with a scarred past in relationships, finally find their one ! Big, strong, Dom "Wicked" found out his nearly collared sub cheated on him. Adam was cheated on by his partner, and has had his self esteem shattered. Wicked and Adam are attracted to each other, but are afraid of the repercussions they have had in relationships. Adam, however, still wants to be a sub for sexy Wicked, but cannot get his attention. Adam continues on as a waiter at Syn, the BDSM club, and Wicked is a bouncer. The owner and head Doms try to help Adam get Wicked's attention, until it finally works. We get inner thoughts from our men, and their turmoil and fears. Plus we see how they really feel, and what actually lets them give it a go. Wicked and Adam have their honest conversation and begin their Dom/sub partnership. **** This is WELL DONE BDSM, with a confident, rule abiding, protective Dom, Wicked, who gives proper aftercare, and a sub, Adam, who is given what he needs to find his safe space for what he requires. They are wonderful together in a scene. Proper contracts are shown, and this story shows how perfect a true Dom/sub relationship can be, and each person gets their wants and needs met. I really enjoy well performed BDSM. This is a learning experience.
This is a terrific stand alone tale in this Syn Playground series. It's a two hour read that is fulfilling. Highly recommended for folks who like to read BDSM play. ENJOY !
I didn't read book one of this series but that didn't take away from this one. I will read it now though since I enjoyed reading Wicked & Adam's story. There was just the right of sweet mixed with spicy bundled into this quick read.
I swear I love Syn. He is such a wicked man lol. He gets his mind set on something and you guys know he will do what it takes to get it done. If you remember the kidnapping from Cedar Falls. Lol. Wicked decided to get back into the BDSM game after a few months. Vanilla life is not for him. But after being burned by his last sub, he just couldn't see himself with another one. So he applied for a job as a bouncer at Syn's and got the job thanks to his friend Devlin. He was doing ok until he saw a blue haired imp with the perfect bubble butt step into his orbit. And now he can't get the man out of his mind or dreams. Especially after a quickie in the employee bathroom. Of course, it doesn't help that Adam can shoot his load if the wind blows wrong lol. When seeing how Adam was treated by Wicked after that encounter, Devlin knew he had it bad. And Syn figure it out. And Syn was determined to torment Wicked until he claimed Adam the way he should have from the get go. But being stung by his ex sub is leaving a nasty taste for a new one, no matter how hard Syn tried and Wicked tries to ignore. But Wicked is about to lose out for good, if he doesn't finally step forward and claim what he really wants. Adam. I hate how people have to step on others to make themselves feel better. Or to justify what they are doing wrong. I don't blame Adam for not wanting to get involved either after what he ex had done to him. And after the way he was talked to. It was demeaning and demoralizing and wasn't even Adam's fault. His ex was just a douche. So every slight Wicked gave Adam after that quickie, just dug like glass into Adam and hurt him worse, making him think maybe his ex was right. And I actually wanted to punch Wicked like he was punching everyone else. But when your burned bad, it's hard to overcome. So I honestly don't blame either man for being wary and cautious. But if you don't let go of the bad, you can lose out on the good. So sometimes you just have to take that leap of faith and jump. http://lovebytesreviews.com/
So, I need to say that the wording error almost turned me off of reading this book but I decided to give it a chance and I am glad that I did. There was a missed word in the first paragraph that through off the way the sentence sounded but fortunately it was the only mistakes in the book. That beginning said, the rest of the book was really cute. Wicked is a Dom that has been burned one to many times by unfaithful subs and has decided to stick to one offs from then on. Adam "Butsy" is a cute little sub who doesn't see his own value thanks to the past men in his life. When the two meet, sparks fly, if only they could get their collective heads out of their buts! Good thing they have friends to do it for them.
I was so not prepared for the HOTNESS of this book. Loved every bit of Adam and Wicked's relationship. Wicked was quite stubborn and set in with his goal of not getting involved but Adam was too much of a temptation he just couldn't resist. With the help from our matchmaker Syn, it was all over for Wicked...those were fun and entertaining scenes. I will say it did bother me in the beginning that Wicked had such a bad image of Adam without really knowing his truth but I eventually realize it all came from his last experience with his ex...I let that go when I saw how well he care and loved his "imp". The collar scene was so sweet that it had me cheering and grinning...Absolutely loved their HEA...Very Nice!....oh yeah I hated that nickname Butsy they gave Adam...Boooooooooooo...LOL
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Syn’s Playground is an amazing place. You do not have to read the first book in order to enjoy Wicked and Adam’s story but you should, for your own enjoyment! Wicked is hired as a bouncer at Syn’s Playground. After another failed relationship, he swears off anything longer than one night. This prevents him seeing how perfect waiter Adam is for him. Adam is hurt by Wicked’s apparent dismissal of their one encounter. Syn and Devon (Wicked’s boss) step in to help this pair that are obviously meant to be together. This is a fun read of friends coming to the rescue of a sweet and adorable couple. Everyone can see that Wicked is his own worst enemy. They eventually wake him up after a series of antics and Wicked and Adam get their HEA. I enjoyed this book from start to finish and highly recommend it and the series.
Wicked Deeds is the second book in the Syn's Playground series. This is second editon. It has 10k of NEW content and has been re-edited. This book can be read as a standalone but I suggest reading the first book before this one. This is Wicked and Adams story. Both of these men have had past relationships that have marked them deeply. Adam has confidence issues and Wicked has trust issues that make him very stubborn. This book had my attention from the beginning, it made me smile, cry, and hope things would work for the guys to have their happy ending. I just love Syn and Devlin and their personalities. I hope Shea Balik continues to add to this series. I would definitely recommend this book and series.
Cute story of two men who thought they couldn’t be in a relationship after being burned. When they met, you can feel the chemistry between them. Wicked pushed Adam away as he couldn’t trust the way he felt. Even though Wicked said he wouldn’t feel anything, he couldn’t stop looking at him. After a while, Syn got involved saying how he would take care of things. This started their relationship to their happy ever after. Great world building, high heat and chemistry. Loved it.
What a good story! This was all about two men having to overcome emotional trauma and baggage from previous relationships in order to grab into something that promises to be a long lasting D/s relationship. Adam and Wicked have both been let down before and both are afraid to trust. They both manage to break down their walls with the help of some well meaning and meddling friends. It’s worth a read. These two are definitely on fire!
I had a lot of fun reading this, it`s a short story full of great moments. The Dom afraid to being hurt again, the friends medling, the sub not trusting completely... Love how many feelings you can read in this couple story, and how it flows. I really enjoyed it. Shea Balik writes something here that makes you think about the society, how security at clubs is different right now with all the shootings that have been happening. and the fears people have when going to have fun.
First off I have to admit I’m not a big fan of bdsm books. The story was kind of predictable where the main characters have a “one and done” and one character is hurt by it. When Wicked finally gets his head together and goes after Adam it’s nice, though I do think them being in love etc was kind of fast.
I loved how wary Wicked was about having a relationship with Adam especially as he gets goaded into admitting his feelings. They both have had bad breakups and have insecurities about being in a new relationship. Following what Syn was doing was fun.
