The weredragons' planet is dying. What will rise from the ashes?

Maxxus has become the new king of Talonia. He must earn the trust of his people. It will be difficult, because his brother, the former king, was loved by all. Making matters worse, the planet is losing it's paradise status. Volcanoes aren't just dormant; they're dead. The waterfalls are dull and losing their energy restoring powers. Soon, the citizens, who look to him for answers, will be starving. He must ask for help from the one place he would rather not, Earth.

Josie's father once saved Earth from destruction and it is to her that the other scientists turn when Maxxus calls for help. Eager to prove herself as valuable as her father, she accepts the challenge. Gathering a crew, one who has already been to Talonia, she sets out to save the mighty weredragons. She becomes involved in a battle of wits with the stubborn, hard headed king, who is wary of humans. She sees inside his tough shell and can't help feeling drawn to his soul.

Maxxus finds himself confiding his deepest feelings to a stranger, a human. It is disconcerting, to say the least. How could he be closer to a stranger than his own family? As the planet begins to lose it's battle, Maxxus finds his heart melting. A few random words, heard by accident may ruin his life.

Will he lose his one chance at love and his entire planet as well over a simple misunderstanding?

Maxxus was the newly appointed king of Talonia when his brother stepped down. He still regretted the fact that ever since the Earth spaceship crashed accidentally on their planet, Talonia was no longer hidden away. Now they had an Alliance with Earth and almost daily they received annoying requests to deal with. As Maxxus looked out over the beautiful land, he saw an odd gray mist in the distance. He would send out scouts to investigate if it didn’t disperse.

Maxxus’ brother joined him and they decided to fly to the gray mist. It was ash, but dry and powdery. Maxxus felt danger. The planet contained many volcanoes and waterfalls, which gave life and energy to the weredragons, but the volcano next to the gray mist was cold and dead! Acer flew to the village to find out why no one had reported this, while Maxxus flew back to send out his soldiers to scout for other dead volcanoes and to seek help from Tae and Eveline. Apparently Kelan’s repair of their atmosphere after the Savra’s nuclear attack had not had the full restorative results they had hoped for. Could this problem even be fixed? Or would their beautiful planet die?

The President, as promised, found information about the man who had worked on the original formula to repair the atmosphere. He had recently died but his daughter, Josie, was also a scientist and had all his notes. With strong mistrust between them, Maxxus talked with Josie about what they needed; Earth’s scientists would work around the clock to help. And as they continued to talk and plan, Maxxus started to trust Josie and couldn’t get her off his mind. Josie said to save time, she would move her lab to Talonia where she could make needed tests. She loaded up food, medication, and tents for their use for the people. Then her spaceship headed for Talonia. She couldn’t stop thinking of Maxxus. She hoped they would be able to save his planet. She had started to care very much for his people.

Just like the other books in this series, this had a really good story to tell. It was amazing to watch the main characters change their attitude and outlook as they finally started to see the qualities in the other and mutual respect grew. The weredragons were so honorable that it mattered, even to the reader, that they survive and their living planet be healed. Don’t miss this book! You will be caught up in the suspenseful story line and witness how the alliance between Talonia and Earth becomes more than just what was written on the agreement. It’s a wonderful story that brings hope.

The hidden weredragon world has come a long way since book one. Love has been found in many places and two worlds have been saved. Maxxus is now the new king of Talonia and with his new success he finds their paradise is falling apart. When he reluctantly asks Earth for help, he finds a savior in Josie, the daughter of a renowned scientist. Will the two save Talonia and maybe each other?

I really enjoyed this latest story in the Talonian Warriors series. We don’t get to revisit many past characters, but we do get to learn more of Maxxus, who seems like such a serious character in other books. There will be sad moments and happy ones. Altogether they make for a very enjoyable read.

Maxxus is the fourth book in the Talonian Warriors series.

Maxxus is the new king of Talonia and now because of the earths ship had crash landed on his planet earth knows about them. There are new problems with his planet and he reluctantly asked for earths help, Josie is the daughter of the man who helped clear the atmosphere in Talonia but now he’s passed away so it’s up to Josie and her colleague’s to move to Talonia and help them with their problem. There is a strong attraction between Josie and Maxxus but Josie needs to save the planet first or so she thinks. This is a fantastic read full of action, suspense, hope, love and so much more to keep you entertained and turning the pages. I loved this story and it’s a fantastic series and I can’t wait to read more from this author. A 5 plus ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

I loved Maxxus’ story. He was such a serious character in the previous book but outside situations, and a certain human, quickly change that in this one. Lots of worry and despair when they find out what is happening on Talonia but with Earth’s help, they hope that a cure will be found. Josie starts out trying to prove herself to be as good a scientist as her father was, but when she encounters Maxxus, her desires and feelings change. Can Josie save Talonia? Will Maxxus be able to put aside his distrust of humans? Such a wonderful book, I couldn’t put it down. I am really looking forward to the next one.

Maxxus is an alien were-dragon and the new king of Talonia but he has trust issues. His brother who was king before is loved by the people and he does not think he can measure up. He also has other issues he finds his planet is dying so Earth sends Scientist Josie who is his Mate and with both of them not really talking to each other things get complicated. There is danger, drama, kidnapping this was a well-written story well worth reading. I received a copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

I really enjoyed learning more about Maxxus after reading about him in an earlier book. He is not what you expect and feels things much more than he indicates. His feelings for Josie are so strong and I really enjoyed seeing them fall for each other. Their relationship has some real ups and downs. While this book is part of a series, it could be read as a standalone as the author does a good job of sharing relevant background information.

I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.

I absolutely love this series. It gives us a sense of life, love and longing. In this one we see the new king find what he had been missing and through it all he finally found his true mate. Josie is a spitfire and the perfect match for him in every way. I can't wait to see how this series ends. I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader's Copy

Maxxus

Celeste Raye has a great job of unifying the previous stories with this one. It's nice to be able to continue reading a book that has the previous stories intertwined so that you're never out of the loop. A keeper for sure. I highly recommend that you get this book and the series.

Maxxus is the new King of Talonia. His brother Acer was tired of being King and his daughter didn't want to be Queen now Maxxus had all the worries. He discovers his planet is dying. The waterfalls are no longer blue the volcanoes are growing cold. The nuclear blast by the Savra has done more damage than they thought. Saving his world almost destroys all. Great read! Loved it!

I voluntarily read and reviewed this as an ARC

The Talonians are facing dire times and Maxxus, now king, must do what he's never liked and ask Earth for help. Josie has the only possible answer. It's no wonder these two are pulled together like magnets when they are both determined to find the solution to a dying planet and it's people. Celeste Raye makes her weredragons characters we can relate to. Even with their strengths they also have hidden weaknesses that only the strong women in their lives can help bolster and overcome to find their true happiness.
