Chuck fails his one mission on his return from Faerie--to figure out who will be the vampire's next acolyte and stop them from being taken. Plus, Dahlia and Den aren't talking, the vampires seem to be growing in power and are becoming more brazen, and when Kelsey joins Chuck she has an unwelcome guest in tow. Things are going from bad to worse as they approach the vampire ceremony on Halloween, the first night of the Blue Moon. This is the exciting conclusion to the Shooting Stars trilogy which began one month before when Chuck McWilliams, new to the high school, accepted an invitation to the Homecoming dance from the freshman class 'weird girl', Kelsey Llewellyn.

Great ending! Or is it?

The main story came to an end and it ended well but there were so many things that weren't wrapped up. I'm hoping the story continues and we get to see more of these fun characters.
