When two men with zero inhibitions start a game of truth or dare, a love affair is born.

Things with Jude started so harmless. One nice conversation, an offer to get drinks, and then nothing was innocent any longer. Hendrix has a past. One he strives to keep hidden. For that reason, and several others, he’s always kept to himself. It isn’t until he gets to know Jude that he lets himself live again, but not without fear. Hendrix never forgets Jude doesn’t know him and wouldn’t like him if he did.

Despite their almost twenty-year age difference, Hendrix is the best thing that’s ever happened to Jude. He’s smart, enjoys all the same interests, and is kinky as hell. On paper, they’re perfect together. The reality is, Hendrix is hiding something. Jude won’t stop until he uncovers the truth or destroys them trying.

When Hendrix’s past slaps Jude in the face, he’ll have to choose—accept what he’s learned or lose the greatest man he’s ever met.

My goodness, everything was so wonderful and then 'things' started happening. And there's too much page time for introducing another character. This was supposed to be Jude and Hendrix's story...

The romance is beautiful, really cute interactions. They emit happiness.
Hendrix's secrecy build up tension and you just knew it was going to hurt. A lot. All the drama was well directed even though, once again, miscommunication was used as a tool driving the story. Jude was a gorgeous huge hug of a bear and perfect to heal Hendrix.
Some really good, really passionate fist pounding the table arguing. It's rare we get to see this type of clearing the air. I loved it.
This was a good one.

This book started out great. I liked these two men and they were good together. It was Insta-love but I was on board with it. But then "things" happened and the book became more about introducing new characters for future books than about Jude and Hendrix. So...*shrugs*

Interesting

This series continues to get better each time. Good gosh Gio was a horrible person. I felt bad for Hendrix and all that he suffered. But really liked Jude. Liked his patience, honesty and straightforwardness the things Hendrix needed!

3.5 stars, another interesting installment. Again a quick coupling but both men are likable and relatable and the romance is well done for the short length of the story. Recommend this series!

I read this book sometime ago, and I'm not sure why I didn't leave a review for it.

Sugar Bear is the third book in the Sugar Daddies series, and it was just as good as the first two.

Hendrix and Jude's story has a little more of an Insta-love feeling to it, which I enjoyed because I adore Insta-love reads.

My heart broke for everything we learned Hendrix went through. I loved the way Jude cared for him, and showed him that he deserves to be loved. I feel that they complemented each other perfectly.

4 big stars!

“Truth or dare?” Three little words that trigger an affair between a man who feels broken beyond repair and the man that loves him regardless. “You’re mine—f*cked up. Pissed off. Broken inside. All that—mine.”

Sugar Bear is one of those stories that will give you a serious book hangover! I wish I could give more than 5 stars, and will never be able to do this story justice with a review. Maybe I loved it too much. To infinity and beyond, I highly recommend!

Despite being books with less than ten chapters so far, these chapters are longer and divided most of the time.

I really enjoyed the story of Hendrix and Jude. It seems that all the books in this series are intertwined, at least so far. Characters from upcoming books are introduced and have a place and function in the book that precedes their story.

Hendrix's story is intertwined with Zander's from the previous book and explains more of their lives. There may likely be some more details in Yaro and Pytor's book.

Hendrix, meets Jude and soon falls in love, even believing that he is not worthy of the other man's love, he decides to take a risk and enjoy that hint of happiness. Little does he know that Jude has other plans that don't include giving up on him but investing in their relationship.

It was so nice to see Hendrix and Jude's happy ending. This series has grown on me and I hope it continues. The first book I liked the plot, but the story was so run and run over. But from the second book, we had an improvement. The author went deeper in telling more about the characters and the dynamics of their relationships, even if they are the quick type of relationship, you kissed, you fell in love, you got married.

My only negative point was in relation to their penultimate truth and dare, where Hendrix was challenged by Jude, but it doesn't show what and we'll only find out later when he's in the hospital. It was a little confusing, because Jude jumps out of his chair and makes an announcement that floats in the scene. Confused. All in all it was a good, peaceful read.

This 3rd book was just too sad for my tastes…When I read the first one I didn’t think the stories will veer toward mafia stuff. I thought it would be just for book 2 but this one has the same connection as the previous one and everything is just so depressing: so much trauma + the intense chronic pain + the leg…

I didn’t really get why they felt so connected from their first night. There was not much going on IMO. There’s an element of surprise that felt really out of place and written just to shock the reader but honestly I thought it was a weird choice for them to make so quickly (and the surprise aspect was not well done)

The blurb says they’re very kinky…I’m still waiting to see why (apart from one scene there’s not much. All their sex scenes are quite repetitive in the end) And speaking of sex apparently Jude doesn’t know how to take his time: I think he only fingers Hendrix once out of the 4 or 5 sex scenes they have. It’s just condom, bam he’s inside. No patience? Seriously it just made him looks like an asshole who can’t be bothered taking some time for his lover

I got annoyed by the chapter from another character POV (in a book that’s already so short) that clearly was just written to tease the next book. It feels cheap.

Oh and the 2 guys are 26 and 43 but the older one thinks « he’s almost old enough to be his dad »?! That’s a bit over the top for me. They kept asking Hendrix if he’s old enough to drink when he’s 26! 26!! He’s not 20…When 2 sugar babies are introduced for another character they’re almost described as kids even though they’re both legal…I don’t get this obsession with age it was weird

Overall it was too weird for me.

OK Wow

So, I went through this one super quick because I could not put it down. From the word go these two were sizzling hot on the pages. Hendrix and Jude were on each from the time they had their first dance and they are beautiful. I love it when and author doesn’t start something then shuts it down when we know its obvious the characters will get together so why not move forward; we’ll I wasn’t disappointed here. These two were straight forward for the most part but I say this because even though they seemed to be honest with one another Hendrix comes from the old world with Zander and once we find out about his history we realize he’s of course going to hide from Jude. Thankfully Jude learns from a past acquaintance how not to give up on Hendrix because their love is powerful and beautiful. I just couldn’t put this one down…who doesn’t want a Sugar Bear. Wow!!!

Another quick, fun read. Entertaining and touching. These M/M romances are set in the MMA world and in these books the MMA arena is crawling with handsome gay guys. :-) So far, very few, if any straight men around, which makes me skeptical.
Anyway, suspend your belief system and enjoy the sexual, sensual, touching stories like this one. They are older guy/younger guy couples. Fighters and promoters, fighters and kingpins, etc. This one is a corner man who used to be a fighter before his leg was shattered by orders of a mafia don. A handsome "bear" takes an interest in him and they have a combustible attraction that evolves into a torrid love affair, but Hendrix (the younger guy) has a past that just won't let him go.

Truth or Dare

Jude is six foot five, handsome and filthy rich. Hendrix is part of the MMA world, damaged, both physically and emotionally. An offer of drinks and these two cannot get enough of each other but Hendrix is keeping a secret from Jude. Jude is an open book but every time he tries to learn about Hendrix, he changes the subject. Hendrix can no longer compete due to a leg injury and feels he's not in the same league as Jude. I loved the truth or dare game they played with each other throughout the book. Hendrix's secret is finally revealed and it may be worse than Zander's, but in the end they get their HEA. Since this is a series, the cast from previous books crossover enriching the experience. On to the next book. I highly recommend this series.

Younger Jude and Hendrix meet in the world around MMA fighting and sponsorship and their relationship develops around the "truth or dare" game as they learn more about each other but Hendrix keeps his past well hidden and avoids telling Jude about it. When Hendrix’s past slaps Jude in the face, he’ll have to choose—accept what he’s learned or lose the greatest man he’s ever met.

I enjoyed this story although it was quite instalove between the two men who were compatible with their kinks. There was obviously a wealth difference between them and it was a good angle for some of the events that happened. However, a lot of time was spent on another character which was quite confusing. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.

Jude the Bear

Hendrix was work. He really made me struggle to like him until the book was nearly over. I don’t love the whole “I’m not good enough” or “I need to make myself worthy” vide. Hendrix did something he KNEW would hurt him to try and be a different person for Jude, even when Jude accepted him from the beginning, bum leg and all. In the end, it cost Hendrix big time.

Jude was delightful, though I wish he hadn’t put up with Hendrix and his pity party for so long. But I was happy he stuck with Hendrix and showed him that he was worth everything. Overall, I liked the two of them together a lot but had my issues with each man individually.

Not my favorite so far, although there were many scenes when I was rooting and cheering for Hendrix and Jude. I still do! But they're not the type of couple I can turn to be my OTP.

Learning more about Hendrix's and Zander's past was very interesting, that was a slight plot twist I wasn't expecting.

More than that, I think the way Jude managed things after the incident weren't the best... I mean, I love some "strong emotions" while discussing or talking their way thought a problem, but I don't feel like the violent reaction was necessary... Anyways, I still liked it!

This story is just as wonderful as the previous ones with a few caveats-in the Kindle version it is as if a whole chapter is missing. When did they get married? When did they move in together? Why does Jude not know what Hendrix is doing when he tries to re-build himself?
Also, this may be a trigger for some but I really would like more details about their lives-Zander, his guards, Hendrix, etc. with Gio.

Sugar Bear indeed---hello sexy cover!

There's an awful lot packed into Sugar Bear....love, pain, loneliness, more love, heartache, but love and commitment through it all. Great couple that found each other, loved each other, and dug in deep to stay together. Some well written surprises that I didn't see coming. Recommend the whole series.

Loved it

This by far is my favorite of the sugar daddies books. I think it's because of the age difference and only caring about love they feel Ford each other.

Hendrix is damaged and Jude has millions. He is a constant reminder of what Hendrix left behind. When spending two weeks together changes things sugar bear and his pup will have to see if the love is real or just fake.

I am loving these!!!

I describe these books as sweetness with a bite. Kind of like putting heat in your chocolate. This one had some serious bite. With Hendrix and Zander both having survived Gio, I expected it. Jude is a keeper. Their story was a thrill ride right from the start. I can't wait to see what Charity has in store for us next.

Amazing

5 stars for book 3 in the Sugar Daddies Series. As always with Charity Parkerson’s books, the chemistry between the MC’s was off the charts! Jude’s gentle giant nature paired amazingly with Hendrix’s more shy insecure personality. Seeing Jude and Hendrix blossom under each other’s love and care was so sweet! I’m completely addicted to this series!

Sugar Bear is book three in the Sugar Daddies series

This one stepped it up with the plot for sure. It seemed a little longer than the previous two. I really the chemistry between Jude & Hendrix. Even with a Insta lust trope happening it was still worth the read.

Plus each book sets the next on up so we’re leading into Wyld’s story, I’m interested to see where his story takes us.

The third in the series was just as good as the others. You keep finding out a little more each time into these fighters lives. Hints of mafia, abuse, and other bad stuff. You can’t help but fall in love with each set of characters.

I actually really like Jude and Hendrix. They are both very sweet and sexy men. Hendrix is a bit complicated. He has a lot of pain inside him and not all of it is physical. However, their story seemed a bit jumbled and all over the place. It just didn't flow very smoothly.

The family you choose.

Took me a bit to get into this one, but once it took off, it was compelling.
Each book gives you more backstory for earlier characters.
I enjoyed the h/c aspects of this one.

Ok

Not as.good as the first, but not bad.I found that I didn't care what happened with couple. They were a bit bland and uninteresting. Will still follow other books in the series though.

This kind of hurt/comfort (the one where the hurt is physical and mental) is my favourite, and Jude and Hendrix were absolutely beautiful.

I loved the way Jude took care of Hendrix, both before and after he got hurt.

Intense and amazing

This one made me cry a bit, not in a bad way but in a "that emotional pain is so heartbreaking" kinda way. So far, these two are my favorite couple of the bunch. I'm loving all these happily ever afters and I'm excited for all the rest.
