One Nurse at a Time

Lessons Learned: True Stories of Humanitarian Responders on the Front Line

Rate this book
In One Nurse At A Time's latest collection of stories, Lessons Learned, humanitarian voices tell of lessons learned on journeys that test our limits and what we think we know. Avoid our errors. Be inspired. Change the world with us, One Nurse At A Time.

One Nurse At A Time is a non-profit organization that helps nurses become involved in volunteer work. We believe that nurses are pebbles, which, when dropped into the pond, make far-reaching ripples. If we can put more nurses into the world, we will exponentially impact healthcare for those most in need.

If you want to do humanitarian nursing, or go on a medical mission, you should read this book first! It is now required reading in some colleges. Learn about the good and the bad about wanting to save the world and how, sometimes, helping hurts.
