This is a picture book biography of Eliezer Wiesel who, with his family members was sent to two German concentration camps during the second World War. He won the Nobel Peace prize in 1986 for his works that included writing about his concentration camp experiences. The photographs in the book are accompanied by a brief, simply written story of Mr. Wiesel's life and accomplishments. Followng the story is a copy of his acceptance speech at the Nobel ceremony. The speech includes his opinions related to the necessity to interfere when human inequities are present.
