Book 7 in series.....keeps getting better with each book

The series gets better with each book. Katie/Pandora is getting more comfortable with each other and are exploring new skills/abilities. Pandora is showing signs of humanity even though she is an extremely powerful demon. How powerful has yet to be seen..... could Pandora be one of Lucfer's wives? Only the next book will tell..........This is a damned good book in a damned good series.......

Awesome unexpected twist!

Just when you think there's no way it can get better, here comes another winner. And this one knocked it out of the park! This has been a fun and exciting series from the beginning but the last couple of books have really kicked it up to unexpected and exciting heights. The introduction of the mercs in the previous book was really unexpected and exciting. But this time, The Authors built the story in such a way I was glued to my seat all night as I was expertly drawn in by the rising tension, waiting for the climax. Meanwhile, they were able to maintain that draw while simultaneously following the quirks and side action of the team and some of the newer characters recently introduced to the story. As always, the humor is always one of the strongest draws to anything Michael Anderle is involved in, especially books that he has authored. But the newest team member took me totally by surprise and that part alone was good enough to have me recommend the book! But when the climax was finely reached, I felt like I was knocked off my feet right along with Damian!! I'm left with the question that often comes after reading a Micheal Todd Anderle's books, having just written his first book a relatively short time ago, how in the world was he able to function in day to day life with all these stories bouncing around in his head without bursting?

Anxiously awaiting the finish of this arc...and the beginning of the next

These books are just good reads, with enough hope, reality, suspension of same to keep things interesting a r we going me to continue following.
I thought the appearance of Pandora in her full glory was neat, and the interactions with Damian (not sure if that name is a call-out to The Omen, but I know I've either read or seen movies with priests named Damian in my 60+ years) enhances the scene. The question of whether Katie fully trusted her was handled well.
Just waiting to see how they'll finish this arc.

Pandora's Reveal

Things in the war against the demons are heating up with the demons fighting smarter. I like the action, snarky dialogue, humor and some romance. Pandora has been thinking about her situation, and comes up with battle tactics that test Katie's trust the limit. New characters are interesting. What will Pandora come up with next in the war against the demons. I look forward to the next book.

Upping the ante

Moloch and T’Chezz are upping their game, and humanity is being sacrificed.

Katie and Pandora take things to a new level, and we see Pandora opening up. Korbin’s Killers are training and preparing for the war that is to come.

As always, there is kick-ass action, a little romance, lots of lewdness (thanks, Pandora), hilarious interludes, and lots of loyalty.

Being on book #8!

Still loving the series

4.5 star rating!
I've been giving this series five stars but this one didn't have quite as much action as the previous ones. I still love Pandora and Katie along with the rest of the KK crew.
The dialogue is always to die for hilarious. The new twist here with Katie and Pandora was pretty cool. Can't wait to see what comes next.

Hard to describe

As Michael said it's hard to describe the series, all I know is I can't stop reading until I've finished. It's fantasy but not vampires. It's about demons , trying to take over the earth. There are Demon possessed mercenaries fighting for survival of the human race. Try it you'll like it

My demon says your demon

Oooohhh you can't be serious! Pandora is NOT married to Lucifer! Hahahahah plot twist! I can't wait to see that go down! And please tell me Damian and Katie might get into something strange?! That would be awwwesome! And I think they need a full time chef... Me! But as a human with Angel essence. Yeah that sounds good.

Having already read the previous half-a-dozen books I feel compelled to finish the series, but it is becoming a bit of a struggle. Not a great deal happened in this story, in fact parts of it felt like the author had bits left over from previous books and decided to shove them together to fill out this book. The supposedly amusing banter is also becoming cruder and even more tedious than usual.

That damned author has done it again

And yet another great Pandora adventure (well and I guess Katie too). And once again I am reduced to begging for time to move faster so I can have the next book

Another great story

The string of great reading continues with this installment. Katie and Pandora are still taking James but at an even higher level. Can't wait to what comes in the next book.

Fun to read

Michael delivers yet again. He has built a great story, and given each character their own unique spin. Pandora and Katie both take care of each other, even though Katie ends up with the good, sometimes bad food hangover!

Another hit

Well this one was a bit different. I thought the growth between Katie and Pandora was well played, those demon needs are a bit of a PITA. Looking forward to the next one.

Good times

They keep rolling along. The reading marathon continues. Who needs sleep? One minor not pick/rant. Is it just me or do authors over use "smirk", I swear it is used at least once per page.

Deep in the $%!+

Katie and Pandora's continuing escapades. Moving to New digs, improving weapons and a sneak peek of a very special and voluptuous demon. The demon fighting is the best, not to mention donuts, enough to make even Pandora get her fill

Moving forward

...and building up to a big finale. Katie and Pandora work to get their kick-@$$ on and the team just keeps on keeping on. I wish there was more about the team getting stronger and training UP, not just Katie. We hear a lot about team and family and blah but don't see it much in action unless they're eating or someone is about to or has died.

I like the world that the story is set in. It's dark, mysterious and has creatures and characters galore! I find myself laughing out loud at the humor and cringing at the danger. These books are humorous and very addictive. I'd recommend this to anyone who likes supernatural, or action-comedy.

Just finished #7 in this series. Katie/Pandora are kicking some serious Demon Butt. This is a fun read that does not take itself too seriously. Some main characters die, new characters introduced. Though this is definitely for mature readers I have enjoyed the first 7 books. Katie shares her body with the Demon Pandora. How this symbiont pairing works is a main point and their love of donuts is hilarious. Now that the Demon Moloch has entered the picture ups the danger to Katie and her fellow Mercenaries.
