Sarah and Anna are back and better than ever! This is a mystery/thriller story that takes a paranormal twist. Sarah can see ghosts and talk to them. Her biggest helper is Anna, a ghost that has been in Sarah's life for quite some time. Sarah is worried about her boyfriend and whether there is an evil being possessing him while she is adjusting to her new position with a boss that is making her life impossible. It seems as though her world is going to fall apart beneath her feet and Sarah is overwhelmed.

This story is fast paced and easily engaging. Once I started reading, I couldn't put the book down. It is easy to read and the characters are easily liked. The depth put into the characters make them easy to invest in. Sarah just wants to save everyone and lead a somewhat normal life with her boyfriend. Following her journey through this story was fun, frustrating and jaw-clenching good. If you like thrills, mysteries of the supernatural, i recommend picking up this whole series.

messing with life and death has consequences - and an involuntary returning one especially often doesn't travel alone.

I own several titles in this series, but each gives enough background to read as a standalone.

Sarah and Ryan deal with a host of consequences in this paranormal / cop adventure.

This is the first book that I’ve read in the series and I did feel a little lost at certain points due to the background I missed from the previous novels, so I definitely think the story would be more enjoyable if you began with book 1. My lack of knowledge concerning the background, however, did not
affect my rating of this book. This action packed story was fast paced with many diverse and interesting characters and I especially enjoyed the relationship and banter between Sarah and her ghostly helper Anna. The book was well written and well thought out and the author does a good job of bringing the subplots together into a satisfying ending. With action, adventure, mystery, romance, suspense and paranormal elements this multidimensional story is an entertaining and enjoyable adventure. This is the first book of a paranormal mystery series and I really loved it! There are gritty scenes, romantic ones, and hilarious as well. I love the mixing of genres with mystery books as it is my all time favorite genre! The characters were fleshed out well and gave me enough intrigue to get sucked in. I look forward to more of these books.

This was a great blend of thriller, suspense and paranormal. I need to go back and read the earlier books because I was a little lost on some of the details, but I loved every moment of this read.
