A Cotton Creek SEAL romance.

Brodie's come to Cotton Creek simply because he has a lot of leave time, and the new training facility that was built in the same county is about to have a two-hundred foot climbing tower. There's little Brodie likes more than free-climbing and he's agreed to train a new batch of recruits. It'll give him some down time to maybe work on an engine, visit with friends and if lucky, find a pretty lady to enjoy some time with.

What he never counted on was being thrust into the middle of a tantalizing and sexy mystery. A mysterious woman runs the obstacle course of the training center every morning before dawn and she kills it. Brodie is a true sucker for a mystery, not to mention gorgeous red-heads. So, naturally he'll have to catch this mysterious beauty when she's on one of her morning challenges with the course.

That's going to open a Pandora's box he never imagined.

Things are about to get downright exciting in Cotton Creek.

First, I want to thank Ciana Stone for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

Brody Judge Heartbreakers & Heroes Book 5 is Ciana’s BEST book in the series by far!!! I am a huge fan of Ciana’s and love all of her books and amazing cover’s I must add. However, this book went above and beyond anything she has brought to this series. So much so that I hope she continues down this writing path in her following books. This one with all the multiple personalities this one character had Ciana had you sitting on the edge of your seat to see what would happen next with her. Not to mention there were some shocking revelations too!! My head was spinning in a good way when I was done reading the book.

As with the other books in the series it is best to read them in order. Trust me with this book if you don’t read them in order you will be lost! Especially with the revelations. Characters from the past books come back for a visit in this book.

I am a Ginger so I love how Ciana wrote in a character that was a Ginger too. Mentioning that we had fair skin. Funny…someone used to call me red as a nickname when I was younger.

Ciana did such an incredible job brainstorming up ideas for the unique characters and plot line in this book. How will she top this one in the next book?

Let me begin by saying that you should probably start the Heartbreakers & Heroes Series by Ciana Stone with Book #1. I didn't. Because this was an ARC copy, I jumped right into book 5: Brody Judge. Without the backstory, you are left scratching your head because immediately (and all throughout the story) past characters in the book are thrown at you. I had to keep a mental tally of all the names in my head. Once you get that sorted out and figure who the leading characters are, the tale really begins. Brody is a SEAL on leave helping a friend at a recruit training camp in Texas. The heroine is a mysterious figure he spots successfully running an obstacle course in the camp early one morning. The plot follows Brody and his attempt to help the heroine with her problems. I am deliberately keeping her character vague because to do otherwise will be a "spoiler" for new readers. For me, this introduction of her was totally screwy-this is one point where reading the previous books would have made things way way easier:) But half the fun are the WTF is going on here moments! This book is basically a romance, a suspenseful mystery, a psychological thriller (and a partial mind screw;), with an added supernatural twist. Was this story a bit superficial to me? Absolutely. (I think it was the insta-love and lack of backstory for me). There was also a weird lack of tension and realism during some scenes-i.e. if your house caught fire, how would you react afterwards? But overall, Brody Judge fascinated and captivated me enough so that I had to finish and see what would happen. I would recommend reading this book within the series to get full enjoyment.

Each and every book in the Heartbreakers & Heroes series is such an emotional journey filled with love, hope and always a bit of mystery. I think this book has the most mystery from page one. I was drawn in and kept on the edge of my seat while I tried to piece together what was going on. I think the author has written a compelling and entertaining novel that leaves everyone wanting more. I have read all the books in the series so far and while each could be read as a standalone, I find them better to be read together. Each book connects in unique ways and this one has plenty of surprises! I can’t wait to read book six!

Brody Judge is the fifth book in the Heartbreakers & Heroes series. I would highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys reading contemporary military romance.

I voluntarily received and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

It was time to stop running...time to put the demons to rest. That's why she was in Cotton Creek, looking for answers and one individual in particular.

When she arrived in town, she tried to remain invisible, they wouldn't let her. The last thing she expected was to receive sanctuary and friendship but that is exactly what she got.

An unexpected meeting with Brody Judge altered both of their lives. She saw him falling and jumped to save him. When she touched him, something brook free and unlocked something within him. Seems she was more than just a woman and he had to have her.

This novel is all about a warrior who possesses unusual powers but she needs as much help as she can get for her to break free. Cotton Creek is home to a few individuals who possess unusual powers of their own. I am thinking she is in the exact right place but that doesn't mean it will be an easy journey. She will meet many people who will help and guide her along a very unusual path and as a reader I have to say I loved every step, every page, every surprise.

She might have had a plan but it seems the Universe had one too. And just when I though these books couldn't get any better...along comes Brody Judge!

I absolutely love the author’s Cotton Creek stories! The characters are outstanding and the story lines are always intriguing. Brody Judge has very obvious qualities that the reader can admire, just like all of the "Heartbreakers & Heroes" main characters. He generously offered to use his several months of accumulated leave time to help with their new batch of recruits when Deacon invited him to come to the Clear Springs Ground Training Center in Cray County, Texas. He also wouldn’t mind if he found some female companionship. And what a surprise when he sees a woman running an obstacle course with impressive speed and endurance. Who is she? What is the mystery surrounding her? And how could he get to know her better?

This is another well-written story by this author, containing twists and turns, suspense, and romance. The characters are very realistic and you easily care about them, which of course pulls you deeper into the story. Don’t miss the bumps along the way that the main characters deal with and see if they can find a future together! I highly recommend this one. You won’t want to miss it and will find yourself re-reading any of this series just for the joy of it!

Another book that I hated to put down to do other things. I was completely caught up in the story from the beginning.

Admittedly, at the beginning, I was confused. Thoughts going through my mind like, "What? Whoa! Wait a minute. Did I read that right?"

Then, the pieces started to gradually fall into place. You get one thing figured out, and you get hit with a twist. Then another, and another. This book keeps you on your toes until almost the very end.

I enjoyed both the psychological, empathetic, and healing aspects of this book. The sense of family, friends, and support was a strong background theme of this book.

Although the romance between Brody and Red was very apparent, and you still got the steamy scenes and to read about all the hot sexy men; the romance took a backseat for me. It was important, but there was so much in addition, the romance became the icing on the cake.

This is a standalone. You don't have to read them in order, but I think they will be more enjoyable if you do. If this is your first Hearbreakers & Heroes book, I imagine you will go back and read some of the others.

I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Brody Judge is a surprising story. At first, I admit, it took me a little bit to get into it but the further into the story I got the more I liked it. The narrator grew on me and I ended up really liking him too. I’m so glad I stuck with it. I would have missed out on a fantastic story.
Brody comes to Cotton Creek only planning to stay a bit before returning to Canada but the gorgeous, mysterious Red captures his attention and maybe even his heart.
Reds past is painful and gut wrenching. She’s been through so much and understandably lost herself along the way. Now she’s trying to find her true self again.
There were a lot of challenges in her journey but she meets some amazing people along the way that give her not only their friendship but unconditional love and support, especially Brody.
He truly is a hero. He was patient, understanding and never once gave up on Red.
Their story is intriguing with a lot of twists, turns and surprises in it. I’m glad I went on this journey with them. I look forward to checking out some of the other books.

I enjoyed this book the story line was exciting and adventurous as well as suspenseful and romantic. Brody and Trina, Sable and Caroline's situation kept you page turning it was so unbelievable until you had to stop, but right back at it because it was so good. One day when Red thought that Brody was drowning she came to help but when he touched her she went to screaming and wouldn't stop until he calmed her and she ask him to take her home, something happen and they stayed together and realized that they cared deeply for each other. Brody wanted Trina to be careful with Sadie. Trina required some help from Etta but not the kind she provided the others who come to the center. But Trina needed their help if she were to survive and they all wanted to help especially Brody, Mathias and JJ since she helped them, as well as her family. I am voluntarily reviewing a book gifted to me by the author with no obligation.

Wow just wow what a great book, Brody Judge is the fifth book in the Heartbreakers & Heroes Seriers and I have to say this was a five plus stars book. Ciana Stone is a masterful storyteller she just has a way with her writing it keeps you hanging on her every word and it has you sitting on the edge of your seat the whole book. This was a suspenseful, mysterious and a romantic story with some brilliant twists and turns, it was a real page turner . Brody is in Cotton Creek spending his leave helping at the new training facility he is just here for some down time and just maybe meet a woman to spend some time with. He soon notices a mystery woman running the course at a remarkable speed and this captures his attention and he wants to meet this mystery woman. Can Brody figure out this mystery? Will this woman want him to figure out her story?

A well written story with interesting characters and more twists than a roller coaster.

This is book five in the Heartbreak and Heroes Series and features Navy Seal Brody. The story is based in Cotton Creek. Broadie loves climbing and was looking forward to utilizing their training center while he was on leave. This book was not anything like I was expecting but it had me page turning. A tad confusing at first, but then everything fell into place. More action and suspense than you can imagine. Throw in the CIA, multiple personalities, danger, passion and more chemistry than you can imagine. A well written story with interesting characters and more twists than a roller coaster. I read a reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.

This one is the in its own standing with being the most unusual which captivates you completely right away. Brody will have his hands full with the one who will also fill us with the story that will come out once he crosses Trina's path. She will be the complex one that will have us absorbing every minute because she is fascinating. With this too the author gives you a path that keeps you also going oh with how the fixing and healing proceeds. The romance is the right level with heat to sear any wounds. The characteristics of these all make each one of them special with not getting enough of them. The intrigue in this one hit the spot also. Now to try an wait for the next one will be a task in itself.

Brody is one of those guys you just can't help falling in love with. Trina does just that, but with lots of obstacles in her way while running and hiding from her demons. With the twists and turns in sorting out Trina's life, and a growing love between her and Brody, the surprises just keep coming. There are old friends and new ones, with secrets revealed that you won't see coming. I can't say enough to how good this story is without giving away some of the best parts in their journey to a HEA. I invite you to stop in and visit all the great people there and see what all the fuss is about. I would like to thank Candid Book Reviews for gifting me "Brody Judge". My opinion is my own. 5 Stars!

I am really enjoying this series. I like how the old and new are being pulled together in Cotton Creek. This book was different and fresh. The beginning was slightly confusing (mysterious is probably a better word) but it was due to the character's issues, and there were many. There were editing issues that I wish were fixed, but overall a solid read. I liked the flow of the story and the pacing was spot on. I also like the hint of supernatural/paranormal. I'm sure there is a reason for it all, and I'm eager to see it come together. The adult scenes are "behind closed doors", which I find tasteful and refreshing. Despite this, there is no lack of sexual frustration, tension and desire. 4 stars

I need more stars—5 is just NOT enough. I also need a one-way ticket to Cotton Creek...like yesterday!
Ciana Stone just continues to deliver one amazing read after another. Everything she writes is off the charts amazing—and Brody Judge is simply one kickass twist and turn after another. We’ve got SEALs (yummy!), spies, multiple personalities, and heat like you can only imagine. If you haven’t already grabbed a copy of this bad boy, 1-Click buy this instant! You definitely don’t want this one to get away. (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and absolutely loved it!) ❤️❤️❤️

WOW!!! The complexity of this plot is above standard, it just amazes me how much this author pours into her heroes. Her writing style is unique and guaranteed to consume and cocoon you into the lives and heart of the characters. Brody...whew this man has the strength of an ox, he just pours into Trina and fights with her, tooth and nail. Trina is so giving, both characters are heroes and the Cotton Creek "brother" support they receive, as they unravel this emotional mystery is outstanding, they don't even flinch as they unite to pluck the painful thorns from the rose. One of the best books I have read so far this year!!!

ARC for honest review with no compensation

Brody Judge is book 5 of the Heatbreakers & Heroes series and another well written, suspenseful, twists & turns and swoon worthy romance!!

Brody was invited by Deacon to Cotton Creek to help with some new recruits so he decided to use his leave to help out but what he doesn't expect is a mystery woman who ignites him in ways he hasn't experienced in a long time. Each time he tries to get close she runs away until she decides he might no be a threat to her but as they grow closer things keep happening without explanation, is she who Brody thought, is she hiding from her past, or is she a threat to the people of Cotton Creek??

Whoa! These books in this series will keep you up late in the evening it you don't start them early enough. I really didn't want to put my ereader down once I started. I have loved each and every one of these books from this series. I just can't get enough of these wonderful characters. You just get sucked into their world. I really hate to see each one of these books end. Fortunately though the next book comes out and I am right back into it. It is amazing how compelling these books get. I highly recommend reading the entire series.

Brody was a man who never thought love was for him, until Trina showed up. The only problem is that Trina is what or who he thinks she is. All of the characters were so well thought out and developed. I was rooting for Brody to find a way to help Trina.
Trina was a woman who had multiple personalities, due to horrible experiences in her childhood. Which personality would win? When her father is revealed, it is both heart breaking (due to the circumstances) and heart mending (because of the way it is dealt with).
I can't wait for Wiley's book. I received an ARC in exchange or an honest, voluntary review.

Unusual , but very good.

At first I wasn’t sure if I could get interested in a love story involving a girl with split personalities but it was told in such a way that things finally made sense. This is the story of Brody and Trina. There were times I put myself in Brodys place and wondered if I would stay with someone who had so many problems. Trina’s two other personalities were a lot to ask of anyone. Especially the one personality Sadie. I don’t think I could have done what Brody did and hang in there, but it all worked out in the end. Good story. Looking forward to the next one.

Another ELEVEN OUT OF TEN from accomplished author Ciana Stone. All of Ms. Stone's books are the gift that keeps on giving and this one is no different. Another captivating, compelling novel filled with action emotion, intrigue, suspense and unexpected happenings that keep you frantically turning page after page until the end, which comes all too soon. As usual, the characters are well-developed and believable heightening your enjoyment of the story fraught with with tensions of the passionate and stressful kind. I cannot recommend this book highly enough to anyone looking for a great storyline and a quality novel.

Can the men in this little town of Cotton Creek get any hotter? Brody Judge comes to town to help his Seal ‘brothers’ with the training facility they are setting up. At the Obstacle Course he happens upon a beautiful woman who can kick butt. However, she is very mysterious. Staying below the radar in a very small town is not easy. This book has quite a psychological element to it because of the main female character Trina. This book kept me on my toes and reading to see what was going to happen next. Looking forward to the next book in this series!

I loved the cover of this book and was intrigued when I read the blurb, although the story deviates quite a bit from the description.

Brody and Trina's story was intense. The concept of multiple personalities was great and the story itself was well written.

I do think that you need to have read the previous books in the Heartbreakers and Heroes series as this book continuously alludes to previous characters and you would get a better read having done so.

I received an ARC of Brody Judge and this is my honest review.

This one was a little different than the others. The female charactor in this one has multiple personalities and Brody is trying to figure out who's in charge. There are a lot of surprises in this book and it will keep u on your toes. There are outside forces helping and one group trying to hurt her. Another great read. It's really hard for me to go into detail w/out spoilers so grab this book up to read.

She takes an issue many wouldn't touch and weaves it into an unbelievably wonderful story about love, true friendship and finding home. I can't wait to see what she does next.

This is suspenseful, romantic, intriguing and entertaining. Brody is fascinating and tough. Trina is mysterious and kind. All sorts of intrigue plays into the relationship between them and Mason, you can never tell who the good guy is and bad guy is. This is a story that once started, you can't put down. Add this book, and the whole series, at the top of your TBR list today.

This is another excellent steamy romance by an excellent romance author! Trina is the mystery woman who follows the physical training course every morning. She captures the attention and then the heart of Brody Judge who never thought thought he would have to kill off her alters. As usual, this author writes a romance that kept me engaged from the first page to the last! I received a gifted copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
