“Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today . . .”
Erin Brodie is engaged to record label owner, Alexander Devlin and they are to be married in one week’s time. They have to get through seven days of wedding preparation and then their happily ever after is sealed.
However, Stacey Chambers has been given a day pass for the nuptials. Jude North is contemplating defecting from Red&Black’s to Quinn’s record label. Then there’s Quinn, who manages to smash apart Erin’s legacy in one day.
Everyone returns to gather for the wedding. Tom and Mickey come back to protect the happy couple. Tara, Seb and Louise are determined to get them down the aisle.
It’s time Catherine Brodie became Mrs Devlin, will she make it?
Born and raised in Wales, in a sleepy town just outside Cardiff, Grace developed a love of stationery at a very early age. She still can’t pass a pen shop without nipping in for a quick look around.
Writing and publishing since 2012, Grace has many books in her back catalog, all in the Romance genre. They range from Rock Star Romance to Small Town Romance and Family Sagas. Be warned, her books have a high heat level!
In a nutshell? 21st Century Romance – Writing about understated powerful women. Understated love stories with a powerful message, each and every time.
This final instalment of the trilogy does not disappoint. I’s are dotted, t’s crossed and I enjoyed every bit of it. Love the characters in this trilogy providing lots of humour, camaraderie, emotional support and genuine love for each other. Enough said...❤️❤️
I am so happy with how the series ended, This story has had my emotions on a roller coaster. I loved it. The characters are unique and made me laugh several times throughout the whole series. . If there was one thing I could add to the final book it would be to find out about Tara and Seb those two are just as frustrating as Alex and Erin !!
This Love Forever concludes this series perfectly. I have loved witnessing the adoration that Erin and Alex have for each other, and also the friendships within their close circle. There may have been moments throughout the series when it felt like my heart was in my mouth, but now it is full and it’s a wonderful feeling.
Erin’s journey has been incredible to witness. She has had so much to deal with over the last 10 years, and my heart has hurt for her during those times when we’ve seen her struggle to come to terms with past events. However, the strength and determination she seems to find when needed is part of what makes her the woman that I have placed on a very high pedestal. If I could be half the woman she is, I’d be happy. She has the biggest heart and I simply adore her.
This may be Erin and Alex’s love story but Tara, Seb, Tom, Casey and many other characters I know and love from the Red & Black series also feature alongside them - which I am delighted about. I am loving witnessing the development of Seb and Tara’s friendship, but most of all, and what makes me wish these characters were my best friends, is the love they share and support that they provide for each other. I’ve always said that those at the Red & Black label are one big family, and throughout this series I have been able to watch this family form and grow – and it has been a heart-warming experience.
I do have one regret, and it is that I now wish I had read the This Love series before reading Red & Black. Why? I guess I am a reader who likes to read a storyline in order and although it hasn’t hindered my enjoyment of learning Erin and Alex’s journey, I have always known if they are each other’s forever. This Love Forever is written to seamlessly lead us into the Red & Black series. The first book is titled Charcoal Notes and all nine books follow the lives of those associated with the label. So please trust me when I say read this series first, but more importantly please read both series as they are incredible.
Five must-read stars is what I award This Love Forever. I highly recommend this book and series to you to read.
I loved reading the series. Once I started reading the first book, it was difficult to take a break even for a moment. I loved the story line and how it went from one book to another. I will surely recommend it to everyone.
Considering the timeline of this book is about a week, it never once feels rushed. The pacing is absolutely perfect and kept me wanting to know how the series ends.
Quinn - I'll say it now - is an utter bastard and is definitely one of those characters that you love to hate, and his nasty/petty side really comes to the fore in Absolution. He does something that could potentially set Catherine back years in her recovery and doesn't care about the repercussions. Thankfully, Catherine has her friends and her fiancee around to prevent that happening.
This book is the prefect ending to this series, yet not everything is tied up in neat little bows. The reader is still left with questions which is the most frustrating this, but I also understand why Harper has done it. She leaves us with just enough to satisfy us that Catherine's story has finished in the best way possible.
I'll definitely reread this story, I want to see if I pick certain things up that I missed. The hints that are dotted throughout the books and finally revealed in this last book. It's a great series and I will recommend it to anyone.
