This sexy little ficlet carries on the story of Pike and Zack from Off Base and Homecoming, and as such, it should probably not be read as a stand-alone.
By this point, Pike and Zack have been together for years, married and as much in love than ever. During a trip to visit Pike’s mother, they decide to attend a Pride event, which turns out to be both eye-opening and inspiring for this couple that have come so far together.
It was great to see these two settled in domestic bliss, loving and affectionate with one another in all things. It was also great to see how much more at peace Zack is now, with himself, with his sexuality, and with his relationship with Pike. It was heartwarming to witness.

I absolutely loved Off Base, Zack and Pikes's story when I read it awhile ago. So of course I jumped at the chance for more of them. This short takes place in San fran during Pride weekend and is a great snapshot of the two further along in their relationship. It was a lot of fun and also had a nice serving of heat. I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it!

Oh, man. Zack and Pike are just stinkin' sweet (with a heaping helpin' of omigawd sexy) in this short ficlet as they go to Pride together. Love keeping up on what's going on in their life together. 4 stars.

For like half of the story I was scared that it'll end up being "another" one of those stories, where the cute commited couple have to be a part of a threesome, foursome, orgy or any other variation of sex acts with different people, because obviously two guys are not enough. Thank God this hadn't ended up that way.

This short is considerably longer than 'Homecoming', and takes place quite a while after the previous short. It seems like Zack and Pike already
I didn't feel very invested into this story. However, it was a nice glimpse into their life on how far they've come, especially for Zack. I found the scene between Pike and Zack near the end of the story absolutely hot as hell! So that is definitely worth the read for me :)

My favorite SEAL and his ginger mathematician are enjoying their life together and still getting to know each other. It's going to be a good life for these two.
The guys are visiting Pikes' mom in San Francisco during Pride. Zack's never been to Pride and never done .... a number of things. It's good to see him start checking things off that list.
What's the best thing about these two? Their goodness as human beings and how they genuinely care for each other. In a deep way.

Wow this one was HOT!!!! While Zack and Pike are definitely more than comfortable together, spending a weekend - their honeymoon really - on Pride made all the difference, it gave them the time to talk but also experience things they haven't before.
Roaming the streets, enjoying a very delayed dinner (with the HUGE crowd everywhere they go), dancing together, getting fake tattoos and expending their sexual resume was the exact thing they needed. It made both realize how much they have to cherish in one another.
I don't think I could have enough of this couple. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them. Pike and Zack are the sweetest thing together. Though some things are hard for them to talk about and their time together isn't like a regular couple considering Zack's deployments they still manage to get each other and if they don't they find the way and the right time for that.
So yeah, sweetness and hotness, what more can you ask really?

While not my favourite couple in the series, I did really liked Zack and Pike in the original novel and was glad I found this extra. However I need to give it a 2 star because of the whole monogamous discussion/open marriage situation. The whole potentially exploring a foursome (and possibility in future) left a bad taste. It would’ve been perfect if it wasn’t for that. It felt tacked on as an after thought for ‘conflict’ as that moment wasn’t really needed at all.

A weekend rendezvous with Zach & Pjke at pride! Sweet and sexy little read. The couple has grown a lot together, but we see their marriage grow stronger. They make decisions and switch some things up that will have you turning the pages on this one quick!

Not gonna lie, the club scene ruined this story for me. Pike and Zack having a talk about whether they’d like to have a monogamous relationship or engage with others, right after their wedding, didn’t really make sense to me. One might think they’d talk about this BEFORE getting married but oh well. I have to agree with another reader in the reviews, who said that they were happy that the story/ club scene didn’t end the way it had been alluded to in the beginning. But I guess that’s just personal preference.
Another thing that I found hard to believe was Zack getting a rainbow tattoo. As far as we know he’s still in the military and I’d expect this to cause problems (not necessarily within the own team but when getting deployed for example). Again, that’s just me overthinking things.
All in all I’d recommend this to: fans of Zack and Pike, steamy club scenes and newly-wed vibes.

I had a couple of issues with this installment, and since the story is so short, those issues kind of out weighed the pros. Not a bad story, just not my cuppa. Zack and Pike are my favorite couple from this series and this story just didn’t show them at their best, IMO.

Gonna go through and write up a quick review for each of these free shorts set in the Out of Uniform series. Immediately after Homecoming, Pike and Zack go to their first Pride event together, suggested by Pike's mother who has adopted Zack as a second son.
Once at Pride, Zack begins to come out of his shell more than we've seen him do at this time. He's been out of the closet, but still wary of what other people, at work and at home, might think of him. But here he dances with two other hot guys, and considers getting a rainbow tattoo.
It's kind of an adorable story.
