Hazel is at the local cafe owned by Cora. June, Sophie and Dotty were talking in the cafe when a stranger comes in and wants to buy her pearls. They were given by a King way back when. Of course they say no and go about their business.
Hazel shows up at the Dotty’s house with a tea delivery and leaves her to get her wallet when a scream comes out. Someone has broken into the safe and stoled the pearls. Who can it be and will she get to work with the Chief again?
Hazel is playing hard to get and it is funny to read about with Peter. He is trying so hard to win her over and she is holding back. We also see more and more of the Cat and the house. The series is getting better and better with each story.

Book two of Teas & Temptations series. Hazel sells teas both at her store and delivery. While a few doors down at Cora's diner an antiques broker finds Dotty eating there and makes an offer for a pearl necklace that has been handed down one generation to the next. A few days later, after a big storm has passed through Stonebridge, she makes a delivery to Dotty, who goes to get money and notices the safe is open and her pearls are missing. Is it the delivery boy? The daughter, son or sister? The sister's boyfriend? That Luca character who is a known art theif?
The Chief is not disguising his interest in Hazel. If it weren't for the town hating witches she'd jump at the opportunity to date him. The guy is too clever and she can't chance him finding out she's a witch.
Novella. Quick, fun read. Nice little mystery which keeps Hazel in contact with Pete.

Pearls of wisdom
Awesome. Life has settled but she is still careful about her witchy powers. After all the community is dead set against witches. Just before the annual storm hits, a stranger comes to town to buy a pearl necklace that has been passed down through the generations. It is after the storm has gone that the necklace is discovered to be missing. Who took the necklace and where is it now? As she looks into this her relationship with the handsome chief starts to strength. Will they start to be seen as a couple? Who or what is the cat that has demanded that she take him in? A great plot with a nice twist at the end. As to the characters, they are getting better with each subsequent book.

Hazel and handsome Peter Parrish, police chief, are on the thief’s trail though.
Meanwhile, Peter is definitely interested in Hazel, but can she risk a relationship considering her witch side?
This quick and cozy mystery, has a slight dash of magic added. A mysterious history and an unwelcoming underbelly provide slightly spooky overtones.
A delightful read, maybe with a cup of tea and a cookie or two to help while away a few cozy hours. Recommended for fans of paranormal cozy mysteries.

another great story
This turned out to be another great story. Part of me wishes they were a little longer. I’m gonna finish the series too quickly. At the same time though, I love being able to read a story in a couple hours so I’m torn lol. This is a charming modern story totally laced with mystery and magic. And of course the blossoming romance. I’d give this a PG rating. A small amount of kissing and hand holding. A few references to what lovers do but nothing graphic. A darling book to read and would recommend it.

A pearl necklace is stolen in the town of Stonebridge. And Hazel is at the scene of crime once more. The mystery case here was intriguing and the revelation was scathingly hot. I like knowing all the juiciest details of gossip as if I am another inhabitant of the small town. I found Peter so cringey, his attempts to flirt with Hazel were making me physically ill. Cora and Mr. Kitty being a part of the metaphysical was a nice surprise. Again, I need more on Hazel's ancestors.

Cute budding romance
Cute budding romance between Hazel & the Chief of police, Peter. Hazel must be careful in the town where witches, including her grandmother were killed for practicing witchcraft. Many in town still hold a vengeful grudge against witches, so Hazel must be extra careful to not be found out. Throw in a little mystery to make a quick story to pass the time with.

Another great installment in this fun series
Enjoyed this second book in this fun series. Stark keeps enough fun quirks, twists, turns, and laughter to keep me turning the pages. Had a hard time putting it down to go to bed. Looking forward to the next book in the series. Always fun to find great writing with fun, light, mysteries, especially now.

This is the second book in the Teas and Temptations series. A robbery has happened and Hazel ends up at the scene when it's discovered. It was fun to try to figure out who did it. Hazel is having trouble keeping her ancestral heritage hidden. The chemistry between Hazel and the Chief took up a bit of the book. Overall, a fun read.

Última lectura del año. Ha estado aceptable. La trama se centra en el caso a resolver durante el libro, mientras que la historia de la protagonista avanza muy poco a poco. Nice cozy
After trying this second book I do like the series better. It feels a little slow paced. I love the witch aspect but, there isn't a lot of information. That part of the story is very light.

Just as good as the first. The romance does take centre stage to the murder and mysteries sometimes so if that is not your thing then I wouldn’t say you would like this, but if that doesn’t bother you I recommend giving this a try because they get better with each book!
