The book provides contemporary perspectives of Singkarak Lake, socially, geographically, historically, and economically. The author observes the sustainability issues evolving around the roles of Singkarak, as living environment as well as natural resources.
However, since the book is comprised of notes written in different times (2013-2017?) some details are repeated few times unnecessarily. As a complete book, there is room for improvements for the whole story developed.
