It's a great thing about being pregnant - you don't need excuses to pee or to eat.

----Angelina Jolie

Richa S Mukherjee, an Indian author, has penned an extremely hilarious and a captivating tale about motherhood and its mistakes in her new book, I Didn't Expect to be Expecting. This book revolves around a happily married, cool couple who amidst of their busy jobs, meeting deadlines and tackling weird bosses and colleagues in office, they always find time for each other and also for their crazy set of friends, and a kid is no where close in their 5 years blissfully married life's radar, until they become pregnant, and gradually their perfect life takes a slippery road and so the protagonist's body and mind.

Synopsis:

Tara is living a blessed life in the maximum city with her husband Abhimanyu, the love of her life. At the pinnacle of her career, she is the apple of her parents’ eyes and hasn’t spotted a wrinkle yet – so far, the 30s are looking great! Nothing fazes Tara – not a foul-mouthed best friend or a food-burning arch-nemesis in the form of her maid – not even a landlady who chats with ghosts. And then, Tara discovers that she’s pregnant, and suddenly, all that well-honed composure crumbles. It doesn’t help that she’s got an equally jittery (if supportive) husband by her side. Now, Tara must face her anxieties about parenthood as she navigates friendships, marriage and career, all the while dealing with the fact that her body and mind are steadily feeling like they belong to someone else. An irreverent, honest and funny journey down the road – potholes and all – to (accidental) parenthood!

Happily married for 5 straight years with no kids, either on the horizon or on their minds, as they really get annoyed by kids and their tantrums, Tara and Abhi are having the time of their life, with great jobs, super cool friends, international holidays, parties and so much more to look out for. Tara is happy in her 30s, not only because she is with the love of her life bu also her career is skyrocketing in a positive direction, even though her boss can sometimes be a real pain in the a**. And little to her belief or imagination, she finds out on the last day of her holiday with her husband that she is pregnant and all hell breaks loose. As she gradually becomes fat, her mind becomes foggy, and in short, she turns into someone high on her hormones all the freaking time.

Tara and Abhi's journey from being pregnant to parenthood is one hell of a hilarious road filled with mistakes, funny and embarrassing moments, free illogical advice from aunts, fights amongst mother-in-laws, love and marital drama. All in all, a must read book for every other contemporary fiction lovers that can take them on a complete laughter riot. Penned from her own experience of motherhood and pregnancy, the author has done a brilliant job in giving birth to this baby of hers in such a striking manner. And after this book, I'm definitely looking forward to more of her stories to come in the future.

The writing style of the author is coherent, laced with light emotions that will make the readers feel in a positive manner. Also the underlying message in this story is very inspirational and I believe every young married couple of modern times should have a read at it. The narrative style is free flowing, filled with humor that will often crack up the readers, especially the punch lines, and the dry sarcastic dialogues of the protagonist. Also the readers will find it easy to comprehend with the story line. The pacing is really fast, although there are some parts of the story, which could have been easily avoided, overall, the story is finely tuned with the modern day society's thinking and the 21st century's couple's life style.

The characters are very well developed, with enough realism and flaws to make them look relatable in the eyes of the readers. The protagonist, Tara, is an epitome to every other modern day, Indian career-minded married women without kids, who work hard and party hardest. Tara is the light of this novel and she will keep the readers amused till the very last page of the book. Her character is not picture perfect, although she is beautiful with a great figure and no wrinkles even in her 30s, yet she makes a lot of mistakes and is often seen to have a very casual approach towards life and future. But when Tara gets pregnant, she and her husband both freaks out and their journey is so, so hilarious, trust me, you need Kleenex to wipe your tears from laughing out so hard. The rest of the supporting characters are also so strikingly penned that they are bound to leave a lasting impression in the hearts of the readers.

In a nutshell, this engrossing, funny and very vividly penned book about parenthood and its journey, is a must read one for one and all, especially for the newly weds ones.

Verdict: A funny take on pregnancy and parenthood in a very striking way!

"I received a copy of this book from the publishers in exchange for an honest review."

I have no idea what is it about the journey of a pregnant woman to deliver her child that I find funny. Perhaps it is the hilarious things that they say or maybe it's just the hilarity of the situation (I mean, more often than not, these women do not expect this pregnancy). But whatever it is, I just LOVE such stories. (Even though, this is only the third one that I've read (*smiles sheepishly*).

I Didn't Expect To Be Expecting is the story of the Punjabi Kudi Tara, married to a sweet bong for a husband, Abhimanyu. She is at the high point of her career, relishing in being the best at what she is doing, until she gets stuck with this pregnancy. What is more is that she is completely unprepared for it. The couple did not want a kid. They did not plan for one. Why then did they get stuck with such a thing? Stupid, stupid condom company!

But oh well, despite how terrified Tara and Abhimanyu are with this pregnancy, this mistake is where the fun for us readers begins. This book was a really light read, something I'd recommend you if you're okay with reading about a bunch of thirty-year-old lunatics. I know that I am! And that is why, I follow the lives of Tara and Abhimanyu and their group of friends (Shoma, Mani, Saina and Kabir) and the ruckus they create.

When I sat down to read this book last night, I did not expect myself to finish this book so quickly, but what can I say? That is how easy it was to read Mukherjee's writing style. The flow of the book was beautiful and the only breaks that I took were the ones where I needed to satisfy my thirst after reading so much. The book holds a lot of emotions — terrific emotions, highlighting each character's inner feelings. I loved Tara's sass throughout the book and particularly enjoyed her poking her nose in others' business because well, everything was just so hilarious that I doubled up laughing after almost every page.

Oh and did I mention how developed the characters were? They had that depth that most characters today lack. Their dialogues, their feelings, their emotions—everything seemed so realistic that I couldn't for a moment doubt that the story was unfolding in front of me.

In a nutshell, this was a very funny book and I enjoyed reading it till the end. Mukherjee has done a great job in penning it down and her language throughout is simply spectacular. Plus, it is a must read (and a light read) for all—especially for those who are at the brink of getting married or getting pregnant (luckily I'm neither!). So seriously, just go and buy it here.

This book is full of Humour, love and lots of emotions. I loved the plot of the story, it's interesting and full of fun. The author has beautifully described each emotion the protagonists were going through. The narration of the story is crisp and easy. One can easily connect with the story. The language used by the author is simple and lucid. The author has used Bong language at some places.
The writing style of the author is engaging and easy. I loved how the plot proceeded with many exciting events. this book has not only fun but lots of Drama. The characters that the author developed are strong and amazing. Each character had their own personality and added a twist to the story. The author managed to give importance to each and every character. Apart from the protagonists, the supporting characters have their own story which makes this book more interesting.
I loved Tara's character. The way she handled each and every problem was wonderful. What I loved was she was a career-oriented person. well, other characters are also full of fun, and yes how can I forget Raool's character.

This book is full of emotions, family drama, friendship and a Journey of a pregnant woman. Themes like Love, friendship, hate, relationship, envy were witnessed in the story.

Overall It's a book with a strong plot, Crisp narration, wonderful characters and simple language. Though at some places I was not able to connect well, but then again, Tara's journey made me read till the end and I loved it.

I Didn’t expect to be expecting is a jocular narrative of pregnancy right from the positive pregnancy test to the child delivery after nine months. It’s a story of Tara and Abhi, travel enthusiasts, who are happily married for five years. Tara and Abhi were celebrating their holidays in Italy when during their returning days, Tara found out that she was pregnant and then began the hilarious parents to be journey.
Tara’s pregnancy brings in a lot of hormonal changes and mood swings in her to which she had all the funny ways of addressing. Giving recounts of her maid Radha, her friends, her parents and parents-in-law, her sister and her fiancé, Tara brings in an amusing dose of laughter on the platter for the readers.
The book is a perfect example of all the drama that unfolds in an Indian family when the lady in the house is positive with the pregnancy test. Advices, precautions that have to be taken care of as stated by the mother and mother-in-law.
The author has penned down her experience as a pregnant woman in a very convincing and naturalistic way and that too in a chucklesome fashion. I loved how she narrated the story keeping the reader hooked with her hilarious punch lines and the entertaining account of people especially Raool!
The writing style is so vivid, rational and realistic that as a reader you couldn’t help but admire her pragmatic narrative. And the characterization is all impressive.
The book is light-hearted, enjoyable and humorous that is a full package of entertainment. No doubt, I loved it!
I will definitely recommend this delightful book to everyone out there.

Tara and Abhimanyu have a close-to-perfect life in Mumbai. With no kids and not even the thought of having any in the near future, they always found themselves pitying parents with children all around them!

They were excited about their trip to Italy, for which they had been waiting for a long time. The vacation they were looking forward to was everything they imagined and much more, better or worse, they had no idea then!

On the last day of the trip, Tara feels unwell and later finds out that she is pregnant to which her reaction was, let's say, not-so-pleasant. She was going to be the same mother she used to pity in restaurants and public places.

With this humungous change in her lifestyle and her body, she became a roller coaster of heightened emotions failing to understand her true feelings regarding the brand new discovery and how she should react opposed to how she was reacting.

'I didn't expect to be expecting' is Tara's narration of her journey from a working wife to a mother including a brigade of supporting cast ranging from best friends to crazy colleagues, sibling drama and in-laws who dislike each other's lifestyle, the sarcastic yet always right Gynaecologist, a wedding in Goa, work commitments, parties, late night drives, any-time sickness...and the list goes on!

As a reader, I found myself glued to the writing and Tara, her sarcastic and dry comedy, and the modern take on pregnancy and how should one deal with it rather than think beyond those 9 months. Although, I do feel that it was a bit stretched. Few things could be edited from the narrative and it wouldn't have made much of a difference.

I would recommend this to every person who wishes to know the true feelings of a woman going through those months before experiencing the gift of childbirth, and to those who love a light read with comedy and sarcasm, filled to the brim!

A wonderful roller coaster of emotions which I enjoyed a lot.

The story revolves around Tara and Abhi, a happily married couple who make time for each other along with balancing their good jobs, colleagues, bosses, crazy bunch of friends and other drama.

Despite being married for 5 years they don't have any kids nor do they plan to have one soon. They are happy enjoying life at its most with friends, parties and international trips until one day they get pregnant😂

The further journey of Tara and Abhi is hilarious. I was giggling and grinning all the time, while reading it😅

Tara's pregnancy is filled with sarcastic comments, mood swings, overflowing preganacy hormones, and equally jittery husband, advices from aunties and babas, mistakes, embarrassing moments and bunch of crazy people around her.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!!!

Everything about the book was captivating. The emotions were so raw and real. The characters were amazing. I specially loved the character of Abhi, he is one of those guys that every girl wishes for ❤

Even the supporting characters are so beautifully penned down that they leave a long lasting impression. Two of my favourites were Sania, a wonderful friend and Raool😊

The narration is gripping and smooth.

I specially loved the author's take on how modern couples should deal with such a situation. Must read for newly married couples😅

A very engrossing and funny read. I would love to read more about Tara and Abhi's parenting journey😂

Hope the next is a next part to this and it comes out soon😀

PS: I loved the cover of the book😍😍

A complete laughter riot, must read for everyone.

I found this story literally pretentious. Almost kept me torrent till the last page.

I feel so proud when woman can also stand for comedian role acquiring better place in comicstan. Richa Mukherjee literally nailed it. Her ingenious writing style with hilarious insights made to fall in love with her.

Well, coming back to analysis of the storyline is ...This story is about a couple who were living blessed life but suddenly unexpected things happens to Tara. #Oblivious happens to every girl.😊😊🤣

Afyer long long other reading i found this book so hilarious yet very interesting facts of nature of life and life tests😊😊.

The narration of the story is quite urban touch with sophisticated coax. The language used were so worthful to enjoy and accolade. Protagonist profile shown were acrid+adorable too.
I personally loved the characters development in every character prescribed with duly. Everynow and then of all the roles played by different characters were stupendous. Among them all Raooool,Radha,Sania,Shoma and Abhi were my favorite pick.

Theme of the story dealts with accidental parenthood, who they never thought to be while living fuller life with good career and blissfull life in hand.

Allusions made by Sania and Tara were so funny. Sometimes the dialogues of tara goes ambiguous. Subject of the story which basically deals with how an unexpectedly things happens to couple with some consequences still manages to execute with joyfully. The mentality of couple and understanding in the situations that they have been dragged by universe kept them mutually respectful.

The feelings of new arrival attempt to understand the situations in a betterway can bee seen, which is so marvellous. Friendship bond, parents carcasses, assumptions to be parent, madness of friends and peer pressure ,executing commitment (career) was all she was been through...

While.dealing with Richard$Dairy Advertising Agency, she oblivious had good skill to handle Abhi ,her love life too. The connection that protagonist is connected with all the ppl drawn is so amenity and amorous.

I would recommend this book to.18+. Best for newly married or yet to be married to know the journey of City girl Tara handling her life +unexpected carrying life.

Ohh!! Truly I enjoyed reading the story and loved characters. Author has beautifully narrated the story of journey of pregnancy.

The story is of a Tara who got married to bong guy Abhimanyu and is highly career orientated. But unexpected at the end of trip they knew about the pregnancy and cursed stupid condom company. Now here starts the real fun read.

Unconditional love & support of Abhi for Tara was the most adorable part of the book and unconditional fun of friends. Ever stage of pregnancy was soo beautifully narrated, her mood swings, her cravings, her dreams, her imaginations, her new phase of motherhood; everything was adorable and fun to read.

The only thing I came up reading this book was, "Sometimes it is fun to come up expectedly😉".

I dint expect to be expecting by richa Mukherjee Is a contemporary novel featuring the life of Tara, a 31 year old successful women married to Abhi the love of her life.
She has the world at her feet, along with her supportive friends a set of wonderful parents and in laws. She's enjoying her life by attending all the possible Saturday night parties, travelling the world ,
spending time with her friends and her husband and a lot more! But he life takes a turn when something unexpected happens she finds out that she's pregnant! Hence begins her hilarious and uncomfortable journey with some amazing people around her!

I had a really wonderful time reading this book.

Firstly the concept around which it revolves is very unique and is executed very well.

The writing style was excellent, the story is written in the form of diary entries right from page 1.
The best part of her writing style was the way he managed to push in the protagonists Humour and sarcasm between some serious conversations as well as serious scenarios.

She narrates the story in from Tara's perspective using a simple and unsophisticated language. The narration played a major role in keeping me glued to this book.

The cover and the title are pretty innovative and hilarious they match with the content inside .

The storyline was beautiful and captivating, the author perfectly portrayed Tara's struggles in various situations.
The plot was fresh and strong enough to keep me gripped to the core .

This book is slow paced read, it takes about 45-50pages for the actual story to start, but the author’s writing style, narration and imagination make it all worth the wait.

The characters were very well developed. I could connect with Tara very well. I loved the other supporting characters as well especially her doting husband Abhi, who is definitely someone every girl will fangirl upon after reading this book. I loved her supportive friends, unique and entertaining family members and in laws and especially Her maid RADHA! This woman was the most savage and sarcastic person I came across in this story!

I liked the way Tara and Abhis character developed in the course of the story from the carefree youngsters I'd say to a mature couple.

Throughout the entire book I found myself laughing so much again, because of Taras character.

The only part wherein this book disappointed me a bit was when it took a slow pace in the between towards the end I found it to be a bit overstretched.

Lastly, the climax was something that was so heartwarming! I really want this book to have a sequel to see Tara and abhi then as an amazing set of parents!

Overall, this was a very interesting and a fantastic read. Definitely recommended.

The book is an excellent work of storytelling as Richa explores the different aspects of pregnancy and how different people react to it, from the expecting mother, father, and the entire gamut of the Great Indian Family. The book is filled with humorous situations from the very first page and it is very difficult to not laugh till your stomach hurts with some extremely funny situations that develop in the book. The journey of Tara as she explores motherhood has been explored in an extremely detailed manner, and this is actually one of the best things about the book. Another thing that I loved about the book was the abundance of puns and comebacks that just lifted the story to a completely different level. Apart from the fact that it explores the journey of unexpected parenthood on Tara and Abhi, the story has multiple sub plots that explore friendship and love, and it was a wonderful icing atop the cake that the main plot is. Richa also covered the cultural dissonances between Tara’s and Abhi’s family, that added to the comedy of errors that was already happening. The language of the book is simple, and has some very character specific idiosyncrasies. The climax scene of the book is one of my absolute favorites from the book, and believe me this has a lot of them.

Richa sketched an entire ensemble of characters that have their own quirks and it’s very difficult to not mention them all here. The characters are very life-like, and the emotions felt very real, almost as if I were a part of the party crowd at Kabir’s wedding, or a part of the Richard & Davis Advertising Agency when the scene with Pamela unfolds. But if I have to pick, Abhimanyu will top my list of characters. With an anxious yet supportive stance, he came across as a perfect guy to compliment Tara with all her quirks. I loved the short fight in the end, and how the moping happens, almost like a kid. Tara was another gem with her foot-in-the-mouth moments and some extremely great sarcasm. Had she been real, I would have probably asked for a class or two. Mira, with her Mr. Moo Moo business, and choice of guys was a story in herself, and probably I would like to read her story someday. Radha and her moments in the book were just epic to a fault that I could actually imagine something like that unfolding in my home as well. Last, but a very creative character, Raool, and his changing character was just fabulous.

Book Name: I Didn't Expect to be Expecting
Author: Richa Mukherjee
Genre: Fiction, drama
Publisher: Black Ink

Plot: Tara is living a blessed life in the maximum city with her husband Abhimanyu, the love of her life. At the pinnacle of her career, she is the apple of her parents' eyes and hasn't spotted a wrinkle yet - so far, the 30s are looking great! Nothing fazes Tara - not a foul-mouthed best friend or a food-burning arch-nemesis in the form of her maid - not even a landlady who chats with ghosts. And then, Tara discovers that she's pregnant, and suddenly, all that well-honed composure crumbles. Now, Tara must face her anxieties about parenthood as she navigates friendships, marriage and career, all the while dealing with the fact that her body and mind are steadily feeling like they belong to someone else. An irreverent, honest and funny journey down the road - potholes and all - to (accidental) parenthood!

My opinions: The story revolves around Tara and Abhimanya who are married and unexpectedly expecting a baby, the accidental parenthood brings alot of changes in their life. I seriously think this a book everyone should because as a reader it was a pause from thriller, romance and mystery books as this book was full of humour and happiness. I was happy and laughing throughout the book, also I was eager to read the next page while I was reading the current pages. Trust me it's that good. Also, the name and cover perfectly goes with the storyline. And the cover is quite beautiful.

Pros: I really loved the book, no erros, no complex words and chaos, few characters, feedings are each and every character is conveyed very well. The writing style is unique and simple. Lot of wow moments in book and also the book gives alot of information or some experience of how it feels to be a new mother for the first time.
I highly recommend this book to everyone because this will for sure lift your mood and make you laugh throughout you read it. So happy I got a chance to read it.

Cons: Now as it was a fiction I also expected much drama but it lacked somewhere.

Book Title: I din't expect to be expecting
Author: Richa S Mukherjee
Genre: Fiction/Drama

Book Title:
The book title ' I din't expect to be expecting ' is quite thinkable and mysterious.

Book Cover:
The book cover is a photograph of a couple sleeping on bed covered with a comforter with a surprising look on their faces as if something unexpected has happened.

Plot:
The story is about Tara, who is expecting a baby and all the emotional drama and mood swings that a woman generally goes through is the main crux of the story. The other characters like Abhi, Tara's mate and many others takes the reader on a funny and humor ride. Normal human emotions of love, friendship, jealousy and pride are predominantly found in the story.

What I like:
1.Few funny sequences
2. The general problems that women undergo mentally and physically during the weeks of pregnancy are explained in a nice and realistic manner.

What I didn't like:
1. The story looks like a daily routine or personal diary
2. Disconnect in the story due to many characters and lots of talking of the characters
3. Too much usage of a regional language keeps the reader's interest off
Narration:
A good attempt in narrating the lifelike experiences.

Characters:
Other than the main characters, other too many characters created lot of confusion and disjoint with the story.

Language & Grammar:
Easy language and good vocabulary is used.
My Verdict:
An OK read for killing time.

Name- I Didn't Expect to be Expecting
Author- Richa S. Mukherjee
Genre- Fiction

'I Didn't Expect to be Expecting' by Richa S. Mukherjee is the story of the lively Tara who is happily married to her bengali husband, Abhimanyu.

In her 30's, at the peak of her career, being the best at what she does, Tara is totally not ready to be a mother yet. In fact, she pities couples with kids. But you don't always get what you want, right? At the end of their vacation, Tara gets to know that she is pregnant, a shockingly sweet surprise for the couple and here starts the fun ride of motherhood. Supported all this while by her husband, her friends, her mother and her mother-in-law, she eases out a little but only to keep panicking about being an unprepared mother. The book is Tara's crazy journey of exploring the mother in her.

The author has beautifully touched various aspects of motherhood. Tara's nervous gestures, dreams, wishes, cravings, moodswings- everything is so well talked about, while keeping the funny elements of the book intact. The constantly annoying maid, the ghost-talker landlady, crazy group of friends and the constant arguments of her mother and mother-in-law keep the hilarious quotient alive in Tara's life. The flow of writing and the beautiful development of the characters made me read the book pretty quickly keeping my interest intact. I had a wonderful time reading this book.

I didn't expect to be expecting

In comes a career focused girl Tara with an extremely loving, supporting and all things you want in a life partner kind of a guy - Abhi, throw in some eccentric but thick friends and an unexpected pregnancy and voila- You have a laugh riot!!!

Author Richa has thoughtfully covered all the aspects of pregnancy like mom guilt, fatigue, unsolicited but well meaning advice from everyone , maternity leave, rituals, the sundry superstitions a pregnant lady has to follow, etc and still is not preachy. The narrative of the story is hilarious from the word go.

She nicely reiterates the fact that no amount of preparation can make you feel prepared for this roller coaster ride called motherhood.

The characters are beautifully etched. I feel that I personally know a few Taras.

Special mention to the incident where a persistent salesman is trying to sell cord blood banking to Tara.

Read this if you are expecting to expect anytime soon for you will get a fair idea of what's in store for you if you get those two pink lines on your pregnancy testing kit.

Also read this even if you are skceptical about getting pregnant for you will realise that if Tara and Abhi could manage to make it work so can you.

A beautiful story describing the views of modern society on having a child.. Describing the bearing and pains of a mother during her pregnancy in a much better and joyful way
I loved the way the author have described the characters specially Tara and Abhi who have witnessed many irritating encounters to children and thought of never having a child but destiny had other plans that forced them to think over their views
The 9 month long journey have wonderfully described as how neighbours, colleagues, friends and all see a pregnant woman..It was written in a light manner but had lots of wisdom enclosed in it
It was really wonderful and a light read away from a pressure which is normal when reading intense books
I just love the way Richa Mukherjee writes ...She indeed has a art of describing the most secret and painful sufferings of the society in a funny and well accepted manner

Richa S. Mukherjee has beautifully penned the hilarious and captivating journey of motherhood. The plot of the story is very interesting and full of fun. This book revolves around Abhi and Tara, a new age, happily married couple living in a metro city and fighting with the daily challenges of Office and personal life turmoil. Having a kid is not a part of their bucket list even after being happily married for 5 years.
But, destiny has its own list. They are thrilled to know about Tara’s pregnancy. This story is all about Tara’s journey of motherhood and how she handled the various situations while embracing her newly found motherhood.
This book is a perfect picture of the typical Indian household drama that unfolds in most of the families
The author has intricately written down each and every character and the narration is subtle and crisp. The language used is simple and quite impressive.

Easy read. Beautiful Narration which makes readers feel the emotions which the protagonist goes through. It takes us on a journey from hating babies to embracing the motherhood. All the emotions which a person goes through during pregnancy with her family and friends supporting her is wonderfully narrated and can relate to.

A humorous take on pregnancy

Reading Tara's pregnancy journey made me remind of my own. The baby phobia, those critters we see at restaurants, we all go through that we don't like children phase and one day when the little one starts growing in our womb, changes the entire outlook.

Her insecurities about career, about body are all true for every female who has gone through the pregnancy. At times, I laughed aloud on the humorous scenes created, advise from all, the list of do and don't, mood swings, pregnancy changes are all nicely written. I mentally thanked that I did not deliver in the what's app era.

This was the debut novel from Author Richa and she has done a pretty good job. The author has a humorous style which I liked. Too many characters were introduced at the same time, this made a little difficult on who's who initially. Most of the characters are nicely etched out.

The story is predictable yet entertaining. Thanks Richa for reminding us and making us laugh on our pregnancies.

Tara who hates kids and never planned on having one gets accidentally pregnant! The book is a written in a light heated narrative and I loved it. It also showed the difficulties of parenthood and the author has done an amazing job in describing what’s going on. The story was a little boring until she finds about her pregnancy and maybe could’ve been shortened. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it though I didn’t find everything relatable (I’m 16!). The ending was very satisfying.
Recommended? YES!

I had heard about this book for sometime now. But was not sure of what to expect so kept delaying the buy. On a whim some days back, I just brought this not expecting too much. But I was wrong. This book came like a breath of fresh air. A story of the phase most women got through; Motherhood.

I liked the way the author presented the story. A roller coaster ride, once you start reading, you won't be able to put down. So many experiences while reading this came rushing back. Some nostalgia, magic moments. I loved Abhimanyu the most. Very nicely etched character and someone we all wish we had always around us. :)

Go Grab a copy and enjoy reading and being nostalgic.

PS: I hope the author thinks of a sequel about Tara and Abhi's parenthood journey.
