Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound.
She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.

Omg I loved this book so much I had to go back and read it again!

Jack Parker is one of the sexiest characters I've had the pleasure reading. I don't think I've been this obsessed with a character since Valek in the study series by Maria V Snyder.

And Lucia's lovely character was nothing to snide at either. Such a sweetheart but what a lucky bitch! Super jealous of that one.

Couldn't put it down, lost a ton of sleep and upset with myself that I read it so dang quick. Which is why I had to go back for more.

5 salacious stars!!!

Well written. Intriguing story. Loveable protagonists. But the actual romance happens kind of abrupt... also storylines which go five months later - two months later - and so on, are pissing me of 🤨

I love forbidden story's. I loved the plotline of this. And I was excited to read it.
Lucia... I liked her character. Yes, you hearing right. There is 'but'. Because I hated how she let those SOBs actions affect her. And I know its probably easer said then done, when you are facing it yourself, but I just wanted her to love herself and just shrug off those negative people words. They aren't worth it. And Lucia just let them to have so much power over her daily life. Though, there was a couple moments, that I was proud of her how she dealt with them. The first time, she even made me snigger and clap my hands crazy. Lol.
Lucia frustrated me. I wish she talking more about how she felt, and didn't just lived in avoidance. Too many times, Lucia gone along with things, even though she felt differently about them. Lucia just smiled like everything's fine. If she wanted to be happy, she should stand up for herself and what she wanted.
Jack... I loved him. Though I sometimes so missed alpha 'I don't give a fucks.' attitude. Lol. By that I mean he was too gentlemanly sometimes for me. And he gave me a bit of whiplash. Though, I guess he was struggling between his feelings and what it's right.
In all I enjoyed this book. I liked Jack and Lucia toghter. It was sweet, forbidden, sexy and hot.

I love the student teacher trope. Even more if it’s set in high school. I know that it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but I always say, toss me another tea bag! I’m in!

Great story. I love that there relationship didn’t just start as sexual attraction and make Jake come off as a perv. No, things slowly built between them and you could tell they had feelings for each other from the get go.

The only thing I didn’t love was the period of time they were separated from each other before the HEA. I only got over it because 1) It was forced on them 2) They remained devoted to each other and 3) The rest of the book was fantastic.

Highly recommend!

Completely safe and mostly enjoyed. Some tedious moments and moments I wish the heroine would tell her parents just how horrible they were. I needed to see the parents to see how badly they’d treated the heroine (no abuse, just absent)

WoW!! This was really a good book, when I first read the title I didn't know that this book had an actual storyline!
Their were a lot of ups and downs , a lot of feelings!
Jake and Lucia are perfect for each other but I didn't like how Lucia handle her problems by avoiding them all the time! Jake was a little bit of a gentleman to me, I would love if he was an Alpha man a little bit more!
And don't make me start about how I feel about her parents!
Overall I loved how it was a realistic book!

Be prepared. This book is heavy and not at all like the other “escape “ books I look forward to from this author. It’s by no means bad, just not what I am used to from Sam Crescent.

I really wanted to like this more. The forbidden teacher trope is right up there with my priest Thornbirds kick. And her being a curvy girl bullied in high school had so many avenues to be explored but it just fell short on so many levels for me.

These forbidden romances always has me on pins and needles. Lucia is a neglected high school Senior who is left to her own devices because her parents are too busy with their jobs and each other. Lucia was a surprise baby they didn't plan for -- nor want, but reluctantly accepted. Lucia knows she was unwanted and so she feels very alone and would be were it not for her best friend Marie. Every woman should have a friend like Marie!

Lucia is a bullied loner and Marie keeps her sane between the harassment of the popular kids and the neglect of her parents. When the story begins, Lucia doesn't have an interest in her teacher, nor Jack in her or any other student. However, the universe has something different in store for them as they keep bumping into each other outside of school. Jack seems to find Lucia at her low points, she is filled with doubts and self-esteem issues due to her weight. Jack bolsters her confidence without going over the line -- that is until Lucia crosses the line and thus begins the journey of not whether they will get caught, but when and by whom.

I could see Lucia falling in love with Jack, but I didn't see why Jack would fall in love with Lucia. What he said sounded good but I wasn't convinced of his love, though I did believe he was not using her. They have a few narrow escapes but when they are found out, they have to convince this person that Lucia was not coerced, and it takes some convincing! Which I appreciated.

I didn't understand Lucia's parents parenting style. They paid no attention to her most of the time, yet they made a major decision without discussing it with her. I found this odd since Lucia was a senior on her way to college. She was treated like an adult by her parents, most of the time, but like a small child when it suited their personal agenda(s).

Though I found the use of "I've not" and "You've not" sprinkled throughout this story to be strange, I do thank and appreciate the way this author nicely tied up this story.

I liked it, my main problem (and what kept it from being four stars) is the writer was obviously from the UK when the characters were from the US. Just little things, like terms and turns of phrase. Most of us don't use "I've not" we use "I haven't" for instance.

I Normally don't read student/teacher romances. But this one I really enjoyed. It had all my favorite things to making a good romance story.
Lucia I really liked. I felt that even though things didn't go right for her, I know deep down she was a strong person. Because only strong people can live with the way these people were treating her. And there was some here and there moments when she would stand up for herself.
Jack, you are amazing. Jack was a rebel when he was a teenager, and just like Lucia he grew up with two parents who didn't have time for children. The only difference is that his parents showed up when he needed them. Now he finally found his passion for teaching and that is what he is most proud of. He only has 3rules.
1 Never f*#k a student. 2 Never ever fall for a student. 3 Don't ever break any of the first two rules

But he couldn't help himself. Lucia seemed to attract him, he wanted to be the one for her who didn't let her down. The one that showed he cared and would be there for her when nobody else was. But he struggled with the fact that she was a student and with his own feelings.

Definitely a hot sexy forbidden read.

This was okay — run of the mill, generic student teacher story. It was a little too wordy in places and felt like a bit of a drag at times, but it was good and enjoyable. It pulled me into the story and kept me gripped! I can’t rate it higher though due to the fact that it’s a little too formulaic and predictable in comparison to other books of its kind. Overall it's a relatively average read and it definitely didn't blow my socks off unfortunately, but it was good. The main feature that I absolutely adored of this book was the mention of bullying and the way it was coped with. I resonated deeply with our main character throughout because I, too, was bullied for my weight throughout high school and it was written in such a way that it felt immensely realistic; and it broke my heart a little. I felt like I was immersed into her story, feeling the pain she felt and going through the difficulties that she faced every single day. I also admired her character and the strength that she had, too.

I wish that the other aspects of this book had been stronger because this would've been a winning story had the other areas of the plot been formulated better. The plot itself has a very good foundation, but it just didn't feel like it was built enough. I think, honestly, the relationship could've done with being drawn out over two books as opposed to just the one.

I can't fault the writing, either! That's always a winner for me - good writing helps me enjoy a book inherently more. I would recommend this if the synopsis pulls you in; you've got nothing to lose!

■ Jack Parker has three rules. ■

One, never ever fuck a student.
Two, never ever fall for a student.
Three, don’t ever break any of the first two rules.

□□□□□□□

Mhmm... yum. Jack Parker is yum. This is what I choose to start with because I'm a sucker when it comes to great male characters. He is book husband material.

For me this book was a little hard to get into because it's an age gap and I don't do age gap usually. I do not hate this trope, but it is not one of my favourites. Usually I am ok with age gap if the younger character is at least 23-24, I don't know why, don't ask.

After the initial shock ( exaggeration inserted here obv ) I started to get to feel comfortable reading this book and I am glad I did not give up. At the end I HAD such an amazing feeling and I gave it 5 stars.

What I absolutely loved about this book is the fact that Jack was not portrayed as a gross old sleazy man. He was a perfect gentleman, he was everything every woman looks in a man and I was there for the ride.

Their relationship was NOT wrong, only the context - that is true, but their relationship was based on trust, sincerity, genuine feelings, love.

Of course there were moments when they were stupidly careless and too in love to think, even Jack that was the bigger person, but we all know that love does that to us, am I right?

The final chapters were absolutely amazing, I loved how the story evolved and ended and even though there were things that bothered me in the end I don't even feel the need to talk about them because this book is too amazing to taint it.

5/5 stars, please give it a try and let me know what you think.

MY TEACHER is a beautifully written taboo romance about an insecure and bullied student and her poetry teacher. I thoroughly enjoyed this read! Lucia's situation as a teen pulled heartstrings, but she was lucky she had a best friend who stuck with her all throughout and a teacher who brought out the best in her. Jack was a dreamboat! I loved the rawness and authenticity of his character. Also, he was super hot and just the sweetest to Lucia! FLOVED this book!

Firstly, it's over-priced. Secondly, way too many deus ex machinas to make the story wrap up. Not a bad story, but not thought out enough. To me, it was like a first draft that needed a good fleshing out. And lastly, the hero. He went running to his parents AND he let her go AND he never confronted her shitty parents.

Sweet story about a young teacher who is attracted to and falls in love with one of his students. He tries to ignore his feelings and deny his attraction but she’s just too sweet to disregard.

With absentee parents and only one friend, Lucia, is lonely and sad. When her 30 year old teacher, Jack Parker is nice to her and protects her from her long-time bully, she realizes she feels more than just appreciation for him.

Keeping his distance is doable for Jack until Lucia kisses him in the classroom and then shows up at his house on her 18th birthday. Having been stood up by her parents she goes to the one person she feels truly close to. One thing leads to another and Jack breaks his most important rule; “Never ever f*ck a student”.

More sweet May/December love story than taboo teacher/student, ‘My Teacher’ shows what happens when two people fall in love, despite what society thinks.

Most of the story takes place in America, and the characters are all Americans but, unfortunately, it’s obvious throughout that the author is from the UK. Also, a little slow in places and a little over the top in others, but still a good love story with likable characters and a satisfying, happy ending.

Lucia is used to being bullied about her weight. Being a senior, she just wants to get through her last year in high school. Jack Parker is one of her teachers who has rules and he's is fixing to break them. This is a forbidden and taboo story of a teacher and one of his students. Don't worry, she's of legal age when they do get together but the getting together takes awhile. The secrets, the passion, the danger of being caught and the possibilities of Jack losing his job are on their minds but it's too late. This teacher/student story was really, really good and Sam spends time building the characters so you can feel the emotions and struggles. I really hated her parents throughout the whole story and really hated all the bullies!!! Will Jack and Lucia every get their HEA? What happens when they are found out? This story made me laugh, and cry and get ticked off. Get this book. It's pure Sam Crescent!!!!

Well I must say I'm impressed with the Author for having a female lead that a lot of people can relate to. she's not a blond hair blue eye skinny girl with long legs who men can't stop ogling.
She's a normal curvy girl with low self esteem, who gets called overweight and made to feel ugly. A * for that

However... sex?!?! it seemed once they had sex, which was before a 'rekationship' that's all that there was in nearly every other chapter. And I personally wasn't found of the last few chapters,I felt that 'twist' was unnecessary.

This one was very different from the usual books I've read by Sam Crescent and definitely a lot longer than expected. Jack Parker is 30 years old, he teaches English at Beyer Hill High School. His parents are both very successful and well known attorneys who don't agree with his career choice. Jack was a rebel when he was a teenager, constantly acting out to get his workaholic parents attention. He loves being a teacher very much and he's always abided by three rules :
1.) Never, Ever Fuck a Student.
2.) Never, Ever Fall For a Student.
3.) Don't Ever Break the First Two Rules.

Lucia is starting her senior year of high school and hoping for something more memorable than than past years. She's a curvy, plus-sized girl with very low self esteem and workaholic parents who are hardly home. She has one friend named Marie and she's constantly being bullied by Connor, a rich dickhead from school. She's become accustomed to the insults and instead of fighting back she ignores them. What makes things worse is the teachers at school either ignore the bullying or they laugh at it. Jack is teaching the seniors for the first time and he can instantly tell Lucia is different from most of the entitled little brats at school. He gets pissed off when he overhears Connor calling Lucia fat even though she brushes it off. Lucia's parents are wealthy and at first I wanted to cunt-punch her mother because she was on her about her weight. She lives forty five minutes from school and her parents won't get her a car because her mom feels she needs the exercise. Her mom only brings home vegan foods for dinner even though she knows Lucia hates it. Her dad does defend her against her mom but he's pretty much pussy-whipped and doesn't really put a stop to it. Jack and Lucia's relationship is not at all rushed, it is slow paced and starts as a friendship that develops into something so much more. I liked the story although I do think it dragged a bit but I did have a problem with how much power Connor had at school. It's not like it was a private school that his rich dad was paying for, it was a public school so how did he have so much clout. Also I got a little annoyed with Lucia and how she let her parents control her life even though she was eighteen.

I absolutely love this book! I've read it five times and I could start reading it all over again. I will never get enough of it.
This book is for those who love age gap romance, for those who love student - teacher romance, for those who want to read a sweet love story(with a healthy amount of hotness 😉) .
Lucia Deen is a sweet girl, who's constantly being bullied at school for being overweight. Unfortunately, at home things aren't very good either. Her parents are hardly ever around, but when they are, her mother always reminds her that she needs to do something about those extra pounds. She only has one friend, Marie, but she's the best friend a girl could ask for.
Jack Parker is Lucia's new english teacher and he's the only one that doesn't tolerate the bullying against Lucia. When her parents forget that they were supposed to give her a ride home, he's the one to make sure that she gets home safely. He always feels protective towards her and on her birthday, when her parents once again forget about her, he is the one to give her the best birthday ever.
This book always gets me out of book slumps or bad moods and for me is a must read at least once a year.
I highly recomend it!

Bun, bun

Am terminat My Teacher de Sam Crescent.

I've never read anything by this author and only stumbled across it because I had a hankering for a steamy student/teacher romance. This book did not disappoint!

Jack and Lucia had a tense build up to their relationship and I absolutely loved the protective and defensive side of Jack that came out when she was being picked on not only by her peers, but by her teachers as well.

Lucia's parents were ridiculous and I'm glad Jack realized that this young woman needed someone to be on her side.

Their relationship was a slow burn to an explosive, sexy and sizzling hot connection. This book was the perfect mix of forbidden (but legal), passionate and unexpected love. All was not easy and there were plenty of bumps and tears along the way, but their love was worth fighting for. Could they convince everyone around them that the age gap and the way they met was irrelevant? Convince them that their love was the forever kind?

An absolutely divine student teacher romance. A delicious surprise from a new author to me. :)
