good read but hard to get through at stages, much prefer his mothers account of his life, but a brave man I have no issues there.

Such an interesting history of the men that served in the SAS units during WWII in the various theatres they operated in, vertebrated by the life of a man that made his own place in History.
How, indeed, would his life have been if it hadn't ended on a lightless causeway in Italy at age 24?
