You don't need to be a genius, you just need to show what you're working on. It made me go and fix my blog — the internet is a place where I need to cut out a space for myself. I also started writing notes directly into the books I read because of this one. One tension I couldn't resolve: the reciprocity ethic says encourage other people's work, but what if you genuinely don't like their product?
