Shattered Souls
As Helena continues to struggle against her nature, she must decide what’s more important – gaining power for her domain or protecting the people she begrudgingly cares about. She was brought to America by her parents and raised in the Deep South where the words ma'am and y'all became an integrated part of her lexicon. She wrote her first novel at the age of eight and continued writing on and off during her teenage years. In college she studied biology and chemistry and finally combined the two by earning a master's degree in biochemistry. After that she moved to Yankee land where she lived for four years working in a laboratory at Cornell University. Homesickness and snow aversion forced her back South where she lives in the land which spawned Elvis Presley, Oprah Winfrey, John Grisham and B.B. King. After finding her Prince Charming, she gave birth to a wondrous gift named Caylin and they all lived happily ever after.

Wow!! Just wow truly AMAZING
S.J. West. Has done it again so I was up late binge reading because I couldn't put the book down you just get sucked into this amazing world that has so many twists! And you're not sure how it's going to turn out Helena found out she has some very big decisions she has to make that's all I'm going to say about that because I'll give it all away🤣🤣🤣 if I go into any more detail I'm so when I was reading it was late the house was dark everyone was sleeping so I was trying to be very quiet sometimes it's really hard when you're crying LOL yes I was crying and some parts and then all the sudden I started yelling LOL freak my boyfriend now he jumps thinking something was wrong and then I tell him I'm yelling at my book The Look he gave me he didn't find it very funny oh man S.J.WEST is truly an amazing author I love how I can get into her books and feel like I'm there I cannot wait for the next adventure to come out to find out where it's going to take us I really hope you like shattered Souls as much as I did ❤❤.

A mother's last gift, The End.
Liana just can't seem to stop herself from making mistakes that will change Cal's life forever. Now she did mean well but its good thing Helena has has learned self control or Will would have had one hell of a time bring Liana back to life over and over again. Now to say I was surprised by Helena's ultimate sacrifice/gift to Cal is an understatement. A mother's love is like no other. This book really brings it all full circle and a great ending to Lily's descendants. A job finally done. Feels like everyone got their HEA well except for those stuck in the void. Their adventure is just begining and if you have a soft spot for Jered read the next book which will focus more on him.

This is the last book in the Everlasting Fire Series. And, at the end we get to know the next series will be on Jerad and his son

Silas and also she plans to write the love story of Lucifer and Amelia( Anna's birth parents)
I have to say S.J. West has made one amazing series.
I have read over 20+ books in this series and loved them all( only the alternate earth books weren't my favs.)
But I still love and care about all the characters and their descendants.
SJ west really writes beautiful stores.
I loved the growing relationship between Lianna and Will and am glad he has a chance at a happy ending. the next series will be focused on Jerad and silas. BUT ! i hope we see more of Lianna and Will's love too.
I loved the changes Helena went through. And who Cal became as a person. I loved we got to see so many old characters too.
I am glad though the story came to an end.
If your a reader who wants to end reading the Watcher series here she wrote it so it feels complete in a way. Which I think was nice of her.
I'm not really super excited about the next series, but I KNOW i will give it a go. I do think Silas will probably fall in love in the next series so I will want to read that.
I'm glad hell was finally destroyed! hahah. You did a great job SJ.

From The Watcher Trilogy & Chronicles through to Caylin & Aiden's Story and The Alternate Earth Series than all the way to The Redemption & Dominion Series and finishing this crazy rollercoaster of a journey with the Everlasting Fire Series, I've been enchanted with S.J. West's writing style.
She describes the personal growth and struggles of her characters in such detail that you feel like an actual physical presence in each and every book (like a secret 'no one-knows-about-you-but-you're always there' character). You feel transported to an alternate (see what I did there) world experiencing each hoop the characters must jump through; their pains and sorrows; their love and happiness; and, most of all, their faith and hope. Especially in this final book of the series.
Shattered Souls left me in a state exactly like the title says - shattered. Don't panic - it's a good thing. I loved every second of reading it. As Helena, being one of my favorite characters, goes through all the human emotions she's not yet capable of deciphering, she grows into the person Cade (God and everyone else) knew she could be. Being portraited as 'the bad guy' (girl in our case) was a brilliant way of emphasizing on said growth. Without realizing it, she became a part of the one thing she was so focused on destroying - humanity.
For all of you out there who haven't read the series - yet - or are 50/50 about it, I have two questions 1) Are you crazy? and 2) What in the name of blueberries are you waiting for?
Believe when I say this, all the series are worth it.
And to finish this very long review I'll say this - Shattered Souls might be the end of the series but with S.J. West's love for twists and surprises, I reckon we're in for a treat. I can't wait to see how she's going to follow this up.

Great story....
S. J. West has completed the Everlasting Fire series with the grace and flare that is only hers. Anna, Malcolm and the family are back with grown up twins, Luanne and Liam, along with the other two children. Helena is still the queen of hell, although she has an alternate personality. Cafe died because of Helena's love for him. And their child Cal, has been given to friends to raise.
This story has action and surprise. Luanne is all grown up, moved out and now interested in her guardian angel. Cal has no idea who he really is, but others prince's of hell plan to catch him up fast.
Follow Anna and Helena as they maneuver around the impossible and make everything fall into place. But don't think this is really the end, because life just happens.
Read on my friends.

This book was an emotional roller coaster ride. I found this book to have a lot of character development and not just with Helena! This book was the conclusion to the trilogy and leads to a new series as well. The story deals with the rebellion angels suspecting the truth of Cal’s parentage as well as Liana having to deal with Silas and her new love interest Will. I found this story to be very emotional as Helena’s character changed and this impacted the world. I love the themes of unconditional love and sacrifice and I would be lying if I said I didn’t cry at times reading this story. S.J West is my favourite author and she definitely deserves that title after writing this story.

This book brings to conclusion a storyline that has entertained me for a long time. Ms. West ties all the storylines from the spinoffs into a nice bow. I’m sad that the story ends but pleased with the end....wait...end? Noooooo!
This book is all about love, faith, hope,and forgiveness. You will laugh, cry, cheer and sigh. I HIGHLY recommend starting this series with Cursed. I promise you will enjoy these clean (no horrible foul language) books. And you luck out. Unlike me, you won’t have to wait for the next one.

Perfect Ending
What a way to end the series, it has all the feels. S.J. West takes us on an amazing journey filled with twists and turns. This book ended the.series in such an amazing way. Old friends lol up and Helena has some big choices to make, but the question is will she make the right one? This is a true page turned surely to keep you up all night reading. Loved this!

Shattered Souls is a great ending for the series.
There is so much to love about this book and series. The different point of views really let you make a connection to the characters and the story. It also ties up all the different story lines going on in the book. It’s just not about a specific character or 2. Especially with the characters that we got to know and love in the Cursed series. I highly recommended!

Perfect
The book was fantastic. For me this book was about how far one would go to sacrifice for the ones they loved. It was beautifully well written with all the feels.. I have to admit though, this feels like we're saying goodbye to some old friends. I do however feel this was a perfect ending to such an amazing journey. I'm sad to see it end but I'm also excited for the next adventure as you will see if you read past the epilogue.

I was nervous and excited to see how this series would end.
I was VERY pleased with the ending. There were some surprises, good and bad.... But getting there was a GREAT adventure.
Helena, a much hated character from the very beginning, shows us a much different side.
This book tied up many ends that had been nagging at me....

I loved every second of this book. It is one of my favorites by SJ West! All of the questions that I had in my head from the previous book were answered. I loved how West brought this series to an end. I thought it was brilliant! I couldn't have asked for a better ending. Get ready to be on one emotional roller coaster with this one! You may cry. You may laugh. You may be shocked as heck! But in the end it is all worth it. You will love it!

Fabulous ending!
Well again I cried, laughed, and got so caught up in the story. What an amazing turn around and opportunity for Helena, such a great ending to that part of the hell saga. This book filled in so much information, bits and pieces all coming together. I can't wait to read about the Void. I'm sure it's going to be a new adventure and new and old characters and how they all.connect to one another.

Another hit!!
What to say without giving up some spoilers? Well, if you are invested in these characters you won’t be able to put this book down. I decided to read a few chapters this afternoon and next thing I know it’s close to midnight and I’m finished! I can’t say enough good things about this series and EVERY other series this author writes! Get them all!

Amazing conclusion
Sj once again weaved a tale of love, heartache, hope, and triumph in the perfect conclusion to this part of the Watcher universe. I laughed and cried then smiled because this is exactly how the story should end. If your looking for a clean paranormal story with all the ups and downs this is the series for you.

OMG!!!
I just finished reading Shattered Souls, and I have to say: I absolutely love S.J. West!! I took a little longer to read it, because I thought this was the "end" . I have fallen so in love with all the characters, and was sad to think that this was it. I am super excited to know there is more to come. Thank you for your dedication S.J. West you never disappoint.

Wow! What an amazing end to an amazing series! I loved the ending! Seriously I cried for the longest! Had to put the book down for a few minutes to compose myself! This book (as any of her other books) will have your emotions going through a rollercoaster! I can’t wait to see how this next series goes!

Never disappointed
I love this series. SJ West always find a way to keep you believing in the power of true love. This one is everything we have been wanting. I love how Will was brought in. A mother's love is never wavering, and I am so glad Helena was given the opportunity to blossom. Liana, well what can I say. She is a teenager... Really really great one.

I cant say how good it is in words. It's just beyond good. I've been following this author since the beginning of her writing and the things that come out of her head is amazing and this books and series will tell you just what kind of heart the author has. I'm not one for spoilers but I can tell you, you will not be disappointed.

Wow! What an ending. This was a wonderful 3rd book. Helena was a character I didn't like, but has this series progressed she grew on me. The ending was great and I will continue on with S.J. and her new series. Cannot wait to read them!!

The twists and turns kept me thoroughly enthralled with this book! I'm love with the way this series ended. I'm sooooooo happy this isn't the end of books involving the watchers. It'd be a very long serial hangover. Thank you for continuing on, SJ!

I have loved this series since it's debut book, Cursed. S.J. West knows how to tell a story and does not disappoint with Shattered Souls.

GREAT BOOK, GREAT SERIES.

Fitting End
I like that this book wrapped up the current storyline and made room for the next without an "obligation" to continue if the reader chooses not to. I of course will continue because I enjoy the characters so much.
