By the 1980s pretty much every Dutch town of more than 10k inhabitants had an Indo-Chinese restaurant. This book is a photographic homage to those that remain (there are still >1000, and they are all photographed here.)
The author is charmed by the ugliness of their buildings and their air of dilapidation, but also fondly hopes they will endure indefinitely (which they clearly won't), but his project has an enduring value beyond his odd opinions.
